Seeing as you deleted the Saab, and you are the only person who has ever asked for a LITE version, the answer would be "no". You're absolutely right. What is the use of having a plane that is "the most complete and realistic" if you can't fly her. (Thank you for that compliment on the realism!) Next time, I'll have Theo, Jim, Cameron and myself record what we do with our magic wands and how we laugh at everyone who get single digit fps. That's quite a big difference, and one I haven't noticed. Give me a few days to have a look (I've been up to my armpits in Saab and DC-3 updates lately) and I'll run some tests.

1: Make sure you have an altitude dialled in to the APA before engaging the CLIMB mode. Also, the CLIMB function "remembers" the last profile that was engaged, so each time it is pressed, it will select the next profile (High-Medium-Low). Also, make sure the autopilot is definitely engaged. The Saab Autopilot switch needs to be pressed and HELD for about 2 seconds. Otherwise it will just disengage. This is a safety measure on the real Saab. 2. For frequencies...Not at the moment. We may have a solution for this in the update. We're happy with alt select. What is it about this that you think needs improving? 3. Do you ARM the CTOT by setting both CTOT switches to ARM? Also, the Power Levers need to be at or above 64³ as indicated by the throttle console pop up and engine torque needs to be within 15% of CTOT torque setting.

What are the weather conditions? Hot? Cold? Humid? Dry? ISA? Also, the take off roll has been verified by a DC-3 pilot as being "Pretty accurate, give or take a couple of feet".

Very curious. Your log.txt file has no mention of Gizmo running anywhere, indicating you have either removed the Gizmo folder or somehow installed the DC-3 without Gizmo. If you removed the Gizmo folder, then your manipulators will not work at all. No matter what FOV or POV you have. Replace the Gizmo folder or reinstall the DC-3 and all should be fine.

You don't need to adjust your FOV. The way you move the fuel selector depends on your POV. If the fuel selector is between you and the co pilot side of the cockpit (so, you are, in effect, up against wall on the left side of the cockpit), you need to drag the fuel selector towards you or away from you. If the fuel selector is between you and the main panel, you need to drag it left and right.

There's no POV (Point of View) setting. I think you're thinking about FOV (Field of View) which is adjustable.

It's unlikely this will be added to the Saab, but we might add it to the Citation.

If you modify something in the flight model without our knowledge and something "breaks", and we don't know about your modifications, it makes it almost impossible to help you with whatever problems you are experiencing if the problems have occurred as a result of your modifications. I've seen it before, and the person who made the modifications comes out after 3 or 4 days and says "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, I changed a few figures in the flight model." When this happens, it takes time away from our daily lives, whether it's from enjoying time with our families or working on updates and future projects. And that's time we can't afford to lose.

I never said a developer should "not be allowed" to sell liveries. I think you're taking my statements to a place they were never meant to go. Other developers can do whatever they wish. I simply do not agree with the practice. Call it an act of good will between the developer and the customer. Giving something for free when it COULD be charged for. A way of saying "Thank you for purchasing my product!" I'd much rather have someone say "Wow, they provided all those liveries for FREE?" rather than saying "Oh well, we have to pay for the extra liveries." It's just a personal preference. That's a very good question.

It's not really a hard concept to grasp. If it doesn't make sense to you, then feel free to continue supporting the idea. I simply don't agree with it.

I don't like the idea of an aircraft add on developer charging extra for liveries. If a livery specialist, such as McPhat, or yourself, decided to start making liveries of a payware quality, well, that's a completely different story and I have always supported that branch of development.

I remember the very first developers to start charging for liveries was PSS (FS2002) and they got crucified for it.

Let's just say that's not something I believe a developer should do.

We have a compass update coming out very shortly. The light dimmer will be included in that update, along with the Saab update.

Wow. What a thread to wake up to. Another case of "damned if you do and damned if you don't". You uninstalled the Saab because the update isn't out yet??? That's a little drastic, don't you think? I know developers who take 6 months to get an update out and not one complaint was seen in the forums. Shame, but, your choice.

Pete! I never got the email. Probably went straight to my spam folder, as you know I would have replied. Shows how much I check youtube and other forums. I think I need to do so...a lot more. Throw me another email or PM through these forums, and we can pick it up from there.

I would be more than happy to hear this frooglesim guy out. He comes across as a very nice guy. Before today, I'd never even heard of him, so watching a good chunk of his videos would give me better insight into what he's all about. The only questions I have is why did he stop at 3 developers? Which developers did he ask and which Publishers did he ask?

He asked 3 developers? That's it?? I'd be curious to know which ones.
