  1. Some things are best left to PM's. Take it private, please.
  2. You'll be expected back very soon.
  3. A man of many words.
  4. Maniwaki, 3 things I will say. 1. I never promised anything before or on Christmas. 2. If you misunderstood this, then there is an obvious language barrier. If this is the case, I would have gladly explained my position a lot better if you had just asked. 3. This thread is now locked. Happy New Year to everyone!
  5. Please reread my reply from the previous page. Here it is again, just to save you from going back a page... I NEVER said "there's as much chance of you getting this update before Xmas as me winning the lottery". As Cameron said, it's out when it's out. The files have been submitted and we are now deep into Citation development and troubleshooting a few nagging DC-3 issues. Cameron now has the arduous task of coding the installer for the Saab updates. Something none of us would ever want to touch. We don't want anyone to wait for something you are entitled to, but it is, unfortunately, the way it's panning out to be...and I apologize for that. In saying all that, we'll refrain from posting any timeframes for any updates or future add ons. Without any offence directed towards anyone...now or in the future...any questions on "when will it be released?" will simply be met with "when it's ready". I hope that's fair enough.
  6. cabnz You're way out of line here. Just because 1 developer can issue an update in a matter of days, do you automatically conclude that ALL developers can do the same? A little perspective is in order, I think.
  7. I didn't fool anyone. I said there is a CHANCE. Just like there is a chance I could win the lottery. But unlike the lottery, you are guaranteed to get the update. Patience. We want you to have it just as much as you do.
  8. Thanks, gentlemen. Hope everyone had a great day and all the best for the new year.
  9. Contact X-Aviation here
  10. Are you surprised?
  11. scarp All due respect, I honestly think you're making a mountain out of a molehill. Saying it's a total immersion killer and a glaring bug that's in your face is stretching it quite a bit. In saying that, I'll take a look at it, consult with everyone on the team and then make a decision. Fair enough?
  12. It is a false positive. When the Saab came out, others with AVG also reported a virus. It is just AVG being overly aggressive.
  13. Absolutely, 100%...there is a DEFINITE chance you'll get this before christmas. Kidding aside, files have been submitted. Shouldn't be long. The installer is quite complex.
  14. Don't forget Theo. Apology accepted.
  15. Quit while you're ahead, cabnz.
  16. The only way to take it off completely is to disable Gizmo from the plugins menu or remove the folder.
  17. Oh that. That's just the Gizmo tool tray. It doesn't always stay there. It only appears when you move the mouse over to the side of the screen and then disappears after a few seconds. It's designed to be inconspicuous and will not appear unless you really want it to by, as I said, moving the mouse over to the side of the screen.
  18. I honestly don't know what graphic chart you're referring to. Could you please post a screenshot so I can get a better idea of what we're talking about?
  19. Derek There are many ways to deal with issues that you may be having. And we are more than willing to help in any way we can. But calling us "arrogant" is definitely one way to not get the help you want. Please, be respectful and we will reciprocate that respect tenfold. Now, what graphic chart are you referring to?
  20. Just an FYI, Vinny...you can press Shift+Space to save screenshots to the x-plane root folder.
  21. Here's what is happening. After living though one of the worst headcolds I've had for quite a while over the last week, I was finally able to focus on the update (non-functioning gauges) Files have been submitted and were about to published. However, I saw another question posted about the fuel selector, and we've decided to add that fix into the update as well. The fuel selector will take less than a day to fix and that will be the final addition. Apologies for the delay, but head colds really suck! EDIT: Fuel Selectors are now fixed. Working nicely. Expect an update very soon.
  22. Programming continues. Nothing much more than that. It will be as complex as the Saab, but it won't take as long to finish.
  23. It's a very difficult one to "fix". I have it running on paved surfaces, pretty much, perfectly. Gravel and grass is tricky. I CAN make it a bit slicker, but then it would skid all over a wet surface. When i originally made the flight model, I made it for wet and dry paved surfaces, because there are many more of them than there are dirt and grass surfaces. I can TRY to tweak it a bit more, but I'm not sure it would be possible without affecting its performance on paved surfaces.
  24. Gents We are aware of a few small issues with the update and they have been addressed and are being looked into. The fixes will not take as long as the Saab update (which was a lengthy one due to heavy optimizations in code). If there are other support issues, please post them in their own thread. Thanks
  25. They have a reputation. Simple as that.
