  1. You don't think we're entitled to protect our hard work, that can sometimes take years to finish, with anti piracy features/DRM? If you think piracy is deterred or prevented by a simple account sign in, then you are very much mistaken.
  2. When you ask for support at XA, your name and ticket are placed in a queue. When you file another support ticket, while your original one is still in the queue, you get pushed to the back again. Thereby delaying support.

Engine fires can definitely happen, under the right conditions. Fire handles also work. Just keep an eye out on the engine overheat warning lights and your torque gauge. Torque should never exceed, I THINK, 107% for more than a few seconds.
  4. Thanks. An update is planned. New mesh, new textures, flight model tweaks and adjustments. Expect it some time in the new year.
  5. If it happens again, copy the Log.txt file out of your X Plane root folder (immediately after trying to turn on the Garmin) here in these forums. I went through the above steps myself, and everything worked fine. Should you choose to, instead of copying the Log.txt file, try a re-install and see if that fixes the problem.
  6. Not sure what is going on here, but this should not be happening. Please try the following steps. Turn on Ground Power via 2D pop up Remove all other objects in said pop up Confirm "GPU is available" annunciator is on Turn on GRD PWR switch on Overhead Turn on ALL avionics switches Turn on Garmin Wait for Garmin to load When OK is flashing, Press ENT Map should immediately show.

Good video, but might I suggest reading up on the CTOT. You had an engine overheat on both engines for quite a while.
  8. Glad you're enjoying it. It's definitely more popular than I, personally, thought it would be. But then again, it IS an iconic aircraft. I've read the war stories. Re the Fuel Selectors, we originally set it up with manipulators, so you could simply drag from 1 spot to the the next, but doing that would cut the fuel to the engines in the transition point. I THINK it was an x-plane issue back in V9, but it may have been fixed since then. I will definitely take a look at it some time in the next few days and see if I can make it more user friendly.
  9. Oops. Only just saw this one. I'll take a look and see if I can work something out. Been a very busy weekend with the sale and home life.
  10. The noise you are hearing is the hydraulic pump re-pressurizing the system. When pressure drops below a certain psi, the hydraulic pump will activate, bringing the hydraulic pressure back up. Hydraulic pressure leakage is very common in all Saab aircraft and can happen at any time. So much so, that one of our testers said the ramp at the airport would be full of Saab "Mating calls" caused by the hydraulic pump.
  11. Jim Beat me to it.
  12. Glad you got it sorted. Enjoy.
  13. Nice video, Brad. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Just to be clear, you downloaded the rar file, unpacked it, and placed the contents in the objects folder, overwriting what was originally in there, correct?
  15. Hi Bob Am I correct in assuming you mean the re-assigning of the axis for the Condition Levers each time the sim is started or is it the hardware that is not working with the Condition levers?
  16. $50? Is that all??? I helped make that plane and even I'm tempted to buy it at that price! You could always just wait and see.
  17. Update on the C23. I've been trying to squeeze in as much time as I can to get this update out, and it's slowly coming together. Seeing as the Citation is taking up most of my time. If all goes well, texturing will start some time this week. So far, what's new: Fuselage Landing Gear Props Wings Panel (all of it, including gauges) New doors that (finally) open and close Flight model tweaks (including small engine adjustments) Still considering a few other things, but I'll decide on those later. Hopefully I can meet the end of year deadline I've given myself.
  18. Vette, I have been asked numerous times what advice I would give to people trying to make aircraft. My advice is always the same and it was also given to me by Javier Rollon. DO NOT make something big. If you are new to making aircraft, or even new to Blender, start with the smallest, easiest aircraft you can. An ultralight would be my suggestion. You'll finish it quicker, you will learn a lot in the process, and you will see it in the sim, completed, a lot earlier than you would a larger aircraft. A larger aircraft will test your patience, and you will likely lose interest and give up. There are no shortcuts. Have patience and learn from your mistakes. Back to IXEG discussion.
  19. Unfortunately, it won't be ready this year. Testing takes minimum 4-6 weeks, and we're not even up to that point yet. During testing, several release candidates need to go out to the testers as each bug is found and fixed. If I would hazard a VERY rough guess, possibly/probably 1st quarter of '16, if all goes well. Based on what's in it now, and what we can put in it as development continues, it'll be worth it. This is how it looks at the moment...

  21. Weight of Aviation fuel is 6.01 lbs per gallon. Total fuel able to load in the DC-3: 4948lbs Dividing 4948 by 6.01 gives me 823.29 gallons max fuel load. Someone wasn't paying attention in maths class. If you think there is something amiss, please post a screenshot of your fuel and payload screen and we can confirm.

  23. Wow, that post I made was quite a while ago. Yes, the update is in progress for both the Sundowner and Duchess. Obviously taking longer than expected due to Citation commitments, but it IS happening. Sundowner is getting done first. Duchess will follow.
  24. I looked at your Log.txt file and could only find 1 mention of Gizmo. "D:\Program Files (x86)/X-Plane/Resources/plugins/Gizmo64.plugin/64/win.xpl : Error Code = 127 : No se encontró el proceso especificado." or... "The specified process is not found" Gizmo is not installed. Have you removed Gizmo? If you have, Then Skymaxx will not run.
  25. Please post your Log.txt (found in your root x plane folder.)
