If you are, indeed, using an on board GPU, consider getting a separate graphics card. On board GPU's will cause all kinds of problems. @oldflyguy consider yourself an honorary support member.

That would have been my next suggestion. Sometimes people don't like going down the "install a clean copy of X-Plane" road, but I'm glad you did and that it's working. A clean install usually does work. It's the plugins that come in after that sometimes give away the issue.
-
Download a fresh copy of X-Plane. No scenery. Choose your desktop as the location (not just C:\X-Plane) Update it if it's needed. Once it's installed, reinstall the TBM to this new copy of X-Plane. (Don't worry about DRM. The install will go ahead without issue). Do not install any other plugins or scenery. This is purely a test install. Once this test is done, and we can confirm it works, we'll move forward. Test again, and post back.
-
Try ONE of these... Remove reshade and test. Run X-Plane in OpenGL and test If it still crashes after trying either of those, post back.
-
Also, just to add, this problem doesn't happen with Nvidia GPU's. It is isolated to AMD.
-
Thought so. This is one of those issues with AMD/Radeon GPU's and drivers. Can you test in Windowed mode and see if that fixes it? (I know it's not an ideal solution, but LR are aware of this issue and have contacted AMD several times about it.) If it still hangs, let me know, and I'll look deeper.
-
Are you running in full screen or Windowed mode?
-
Please post back when you're back. There's a few things we can try. This is definitely unusual.
-
Try reinstalling the TBM. We don't know why this is happening, but it's happened to a very small handful of people. It could be some kind of update to another add on making a clean install of the output folder, completely deleting the TBM folder.
-
Can you confirm that you have this folder in your X-Plane directory? C:\X-Plane 11\Output\TBM900\state
-
My first question is, do you have the inertial separator in the closed position?
-
Looks like Gizmo possibly wasn't properly installed. Reinstalling the TBM also reinstalled Gizmo. Glad to see it all working.
-
Your Saab checklist window is definitely smaller than it should be. For comparison, this is what I'm seeing on my 5K Retina display when compared to the Gizmo preferences. @JGregory any ideas?
-
Yes. Here is my Gizmo preferences on a 5K Retina Mac display. It looks the same on my Windows PC/4K monitor. I'm not really sure what could be causing the problem, other than the UI scaling.
-
Ok, that's certainly weird. I also have a 4K monitor, but everything looks fine for me. @Ben Russell any ideas?
-
If you can't see the Gizmo toolbar, that means Gizmo has somehow been removed from your computer. Have you tried reinstalling it?
-
Are you on Windows or Mac?

This is correct. This was very likely due to some kind of major failure. Probably in the electrics. Landing without gear extended will result in a damaged beyond repair TBM. What you SHOULD HAVE done was manually pump the gear down using the emergency gear extension lever located under the floor, just aft of the centre console. 25 pumps gets the gear fully extended. This would have given you a safe landing and then you would have been able to repair any electrics in the maintenance manager. 100% no. Creating a new airframe deletes the previous entries for the previous airframe. When you create a new airframe, the last one is lost forever. Possibly. But it could have been something in the default X-Plane failures module. We've seen some people report issues with the TBM failures and not being able to repair them due to some failure they have set in the default failures of X-Plane. But seeing as you have confirmed this is not the case, it's likely something else. Absolutely. We've consulted with a TBM pilot and owner (the co-founder of Foreflight) on all the little details and operating procedures of the TBM 900. A small malfunction could easily and quickly snowball into something major. As in real world ops, failures happen, and it could be any number of sequences that lead up to them. The key is to follow the appropriate checklists for the failure you are experiencing (in your case, loss of power and landing gear operation.) and do what you can to either re-establish power or land at the nearest airfield. Our TBM is extremely complex, and follows real world ops very closely. If you experience a failure of any kind, you need to follow the appropriate checklists, otherwise things will spiral out of control very quickly.

Correct. The official word... "That's not honeycomb's issue, it's deep in the innards of the TBM rendering code. This is going to require some deep dive into Cairo's font machinery." Cairo's font machinery is something inside a graphics coding language called "Cairo" which the TBM uses.
-
It looks like we've narrowed this down to the TBM's rendering code. It was thought this was fixed in the previous update, but apparently not. This crash is not something we've seen in too many cases, but it appears in some configurations, it still happens. This will be addressed in the next update.

Adding hours and wear? I have to say, we haven't had this one requested. I have to say, this isn't something we've looked at. When you load the TBM, it does come with some hours added, but as far as adding hours, this isn't planned. The hours do accumulate, the longer you fly, though. And parts do wear out. Even when the sim is shut down, the wear and hours are maintained for as long as the aircraft is flyable.
-
When the maintenance manager tells you the aircraft is damaged beyond repair, it's time for a new airframe. It's fine if you want to practise failures, but some failures will end up destroying the airframe.
