  1. Just to clarify, you're saying the course needle was not turning? Because the course needle doesn't turn by itself. You need to set the course yourself, and then the deviation bar will move according to where you are. For the deviation bar to move towards the centre, you will need to be on an intercept heading.
  2. This one is a mystery and definitely an isolated case. I've watched 2 streamers this afternoon and they have no problem. I've also tested this on my system the last time someone reported this, and still no problem. You are, literally, the 2nd person to have this problem. Can you try unplugging ALL hardware and test again. Make sure you unplug hardware. Not just disable it. They need to be physically removed from the PC. Could you also post a log.txt file. Failing all this, could you also try re-calibrating your hardware.
  3. AoA hud. http://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/15491-aoa-hud-in-vr-dont-work/?do=findComment&comment=135756
  4. Asking around to see what's up with the fps in this latest update. I can confirm it's NOT the TBM update. This latest X-Plane update (11.3) is causing some peoples x plane fps to tank down to single digits, while NOT running the TBM. Some have no change. Some have higher fps. It appears Threaded Optimization may be the culprit.
  5. No. I didn't really expect it, and was quite taken aback by it. If the tires didn't have some white painted stripes on them, I dont think I would have noticed it. But when I saw it taxiing and turning, and the white stripes not moving, it did surprise me.
  6. AFAIK, it's tied to the airframe. You would have to replace the airframe to make it "like new" Do you have "Accelerated wear" enabled?
  7. How the HUD works... http://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/15491-aoa-hud-in-vr-dont-work/?do=findComment&comment=135756
  8. Can you remove all plugins, except Gizmo and test this again? I've seen a few people say they have some scripting plugins that take over the throttle, and when removed, the problem is gone.
  9. A quicker way to reset the aircraft when it tilts back like that is to go into map view and slew the aircraft around a little. It should right itself. And just a bit of trivial info, I just came back from Hamilton Island, and while waiting for the A320 to taxi, I noticed, with a half full load of passengers, and very little fuel, the nose wheel of the A320 was about an inch off the ground while taxiing. So aircraft CAN tilt back a little. Couple that with scenery that can have dips and bumps in it, and you'll get a tilt back on the tail.
  10. Whenever an add on crashes, the first step on the users side is to remove all plugins and try again. If no crash happens, it means there's some kind of conflict with a plugin. Speaking for myself, and the people I work with, it's why we have at least 2 installations of x plane. 1 bare bones and 1 with plug ins. Bare bones is used for testing after a crash in the normal, plug in filled version. If you want help, courtesy and respect goes both ways. Send this log to Laminar and outline what happened. Please post back what they say.
  11. Has anything changed in your X-Plane installation since the previous version? Any extra plug ins? I'm currently watching DJSean on twitch flying the latest update in 11.3, and he's experiencing no issues...even with VR. Have you tried taking out all plugins, except Gizmo, out of your plugins folder and then trying again?
  12. Toto is working working on it, but it's a complicated one. It looks like anything shader based has issues in VR. (Ice, rain, heat blur, etc...)
  13. Please try what I posted above and report back.
  14. Please take a look at some twitch videos. Grau Adler is one of my favourites, and he lands the TBM smooth every single time. He’s just 1 of many. I’ve also landed it several times without issue. You’ve also seen @cpuwolf land on a dirt/grass runway in the video above.
  15. Sworn to secrecy. We’ll show something soon, though. It’ll be worth the wait.
  16. If I say the next project, which is a damn cool aircraft, will top the TBM, it’s de-valuing the TBM. Let’s just say it’s “different”. I can safely say the next aircraft will definitely be a head turner. To top it off, we have a pilot who flies these for a living, who’ll be helping us along with performance and handling, and he’s very active in the community. Thank you very much for that comment!
  17. Check airframe/control surfaces in the maintenance manager. The TBM autopilot uses the trim tabs when flying. So if your control surfaces are not working properly, the autopilot will keep trimming until it can’t trim anymore. Hence the gradual deviation off the flight path/heading. When you disengage autopilot, it goes back to using control surfaces for control. And because they’re so far out of whack, you’ll go into an unrecoverable state.
  18. Bingo. And I’ll also mention, it’s not the Citation.
  19. Anyone else...?
  20. I’ll take a look when I’m back home. Currently on vacation until Friday.
  21. Check avionics section in the maintenance manager.

  23. Don’t look for an ELT option. Look for anything related to ELT. Like electrical. Is there any damage on any page at all? Does anything need repairing.
  24. It doesn’t have to be on those sections. Did you check electrical?
