99.89% that unless SkyMaxxPro itself is updated you do not need to re-install it. Unfortunately, as I am on a student-budget I have not yet purchased it, so I cannot confirm.
First of all welcome to X-Pilot and X-Plane. On X-Plane.org there are a variety of excellent sceneries - just make sure to follow all of their rules. I might be totally off but planes from V9.7 will work in V10 - planes created before that will need to be saved in V9.7 Planemaker first and then used in V10.
Uhm what problems are you having? X-Plane 10 does come with an excellent manual, although I will be happy to help you with any problems you are having.
I believe primary radar has a very small distance it can cover - as MH370 was a fair distance over water it was not within any airport's primary radar range.
Really... I mean I am open to theories but this one makes no sense. China has stated the plane never reached their airspace, which it would have had to pass through to get to NK. Thanks to GC Mapper for the map.
If the plane broke apart (hopefully not true) the fuel would not have ignited and would be on the surface for a while, as was the case with SR111. I don't believe fuel dumping leaves that much concentrated in one area but I have no concrete evidence.
