    I only had 2 flight now. It "feels" good and seems to hit numbers right, overall just as good as the C152.

    Just purchased and downloaded (after Carenado were fast as light to fix a download problem for me). I just like their planes, love the C152, and am sure the C172 is a good one, too. Will know tomorrow evening when I take the plane for a first spin

    try again. it does work like that and as advertised in the manual. and if not, please provide some screenshots of the situation you are in and your autopilot settings.

    first set your target ALT, then the V/S. Engage V/S (have the fight director already on before take off) after you have at least 100ft above ground, then turn on the Autopilot.

    I'm pretty sure you need no plugin for the yoke, quadrants and rudders, but for the rest, you do, Steven. Check again, please. Otherwise that's confusing.

    No. One enginge. But the reverse power of the enginge still running did not develop enough thrust to stop the plane. The usual x-plane situation: It was wet, hence also the breaking efforts were nearly zero.
