Beechcraft Sundowner C23
woweezowee replied to Goran_M's topic in Beechcraft Sundowner C23 - Released!
Could not find one. Maybe it can be included. We should ask the FSE staff when this plane is released and the numbers can be checked. -
I'm sorry I can't make the screen size test now, but: 1. Random. But until now never after loading the plane. In fact, (re-)loading the plane is the solution to the problem. 2. 19fps in 3D cockpit, around 20 in 2D cockpit, with chase view deluxe immediately up to around 30 again (in all outside views when zooming away a bit). 3. only realized it in 3D cockpit view until now, but that says nothing, because I am almost always in the 3D pit. 4. no. And as far as I can tell from my experience with the first version of the Goose, it won't help. 5. Snow Leopard. 6. NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS 7. - 8. iMac 24'', Intel Core 2 Duo 3,06 GHz, 4 GB RAM
-
I also can't tell how to reproduce this. It "just happens sometimes". I have seen some behaviour like this with the first version of the Goose by ddenn, too. It vanished with the last update, so my guess would be that he maybe knows what the probem was.
-
I think only you see it. It gives me a "hidden" instead of your Email.

same here. Sometimes the low framerate down to 19 is there, but most of the time it is not. Reloading the plane will make the situation like nothing had happened.

scubajaun, First, make sure that you press and "Hold" the enter key until the waypoint is accepted. I just checked this in the sim and it is working as expected. Let me know how it goes. Jim Hello Jim, and thanks for the quick response. I am still trying without success, 1. Press the FPL Key on the MFD to bring up the Active Flight Plan window. 2. If you are in 2D Mode press the READY PAD Button in the upper right corner of the Active Flight Plan Window to bring up the ReadyPad. 3. Press the INIT Key on the ReadyPad. 4. On the ReadyPad turn the small FMS Knob to the right to bring up the Waypoint Information Window. 5. Using the alphanumeric keys enter the first waypoint (DSD) and press (hold) the ENT Key to accept the entry. 6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to enter the remaining waypoints; MAVER, BTG, and KPDX. I got the first waypoint in but when I press the INIT key the entry is deleted and can't continue entering the subsequent waypoints. how do I move to the next waypoint? I also noticed that with the FMS NAV/COM knob the exterior knob has 2 + arrows I would expect that the right side brings the big + arrow and the left side a big - arrow, but on the left side i get a big + arrow too. How do I enter the speed and altitude for the waypoints (asumming I get the waypoint entry sorted out) Thanks for the help and for a really nice addon scubajuan, OK, I see the problem. The tutorial is not correct, I apologize, use these steps (as per the POH)... 1. Press the FPL Key on the MFD. 2. If you are in 2D Mode – Press the Ready Pad button in the upper right corner of the Active Flight Plan Page to "pop-up" the ReadyPad. 3. A waypoint will be highlighted in the Active Flight Plan Page. 4. Turn the small FMS Knob to the right to display the Waypoint Information Window: 5. Press one of the five "Type"" keys on the ReadyPad to indicate the type of waypoint you want to enter; APT, VOR, L/L, FIX, or NDB: 6. Using the ReadyPad alphanumeric keypad, enter the identifier of the waypoint – when you have completed the entry, the name of the waypoint and its type, will display. 7. Once you have entered the correct waypoint, press (and HOLD) the ENT Key on the ReadyPad until the waypoint is accepted. Repeat steps 4 through 7 to enter another waypoint. Sorry for the confusion. Jim I still don't seem to get it. After I succesfully entered waypoint 1, I 1. turn the small fms knob again to the right 2. select the type of navaid (vor, fix...) 3. and now I can't enter any kind of identifier. ??? EDIT: Got it: Press the right "SEL" button before the small fms knob!

Beechcraft Sundowner C23
woweezowee replied to Goran_M's topic in Beechcraft Sundowner C23 - Released!
while pretty cool when looking that near, it may be distracting when in a normal position in the cockpit. -
second point: that's right. The plugin for FSE will even be enhanced further for a next major version. Until then, use the one you find here by sandmanpr.

Added to my hangar! thank you P.S.: Cameron, also sent you a message because of a minor bug I found in the "account details".

24'' iMac; with RC1 and 10.6.3 I am definately experiencing a slight increase in FPS. Even a big increase when no buildings/scenery is in sight. Around 45 fps compared to 35 fps before in those situations. Flying in scenery dense locations still gives an overall smoother experience.

looking forward to it!

woweezowee replied to Ben Russell's topic in Plugin Development
Our Whisky Air Charter Crew Member sandmanpr made a new version of the modified plugin. Tested it all day yesterday, it works fine: http://rapidshare.com/files/366665042/PI_xfse.py.html -
What aircraft types would you like us to do most?
woweezowee replied to Cameron's topic in General Discussion
There is a list available of all the planes available to the 5000+ players of FSeconomy. It sure is a minority of flight sim people, but on the other hand, those player have to think a lot about what plane to use, in regards to available "jobs", "costs" etc, and last but not least surely what are the available models in MSFS (xplane is the minority there as is FSE in general). So, my guess would be, that possible switchers from MSFS to xplane would look out for their favorite planes for sure. btw, there are no heavies included in FSE. You can sort the list by: % player owned: Gives you the best impression of favorite planes, because the players put a lot of virtual$ on the desk for them. Total hours: Planes that are actually flown the most. If it is of any help for your marketing purposes, you'll find the list here: http://www.fseforums.com/forums/get-attachment.asp?attachmentid=6616 Hope the link works, can't attach excel files here. -

I already posted in the thread at the FSE-forums and now sent him a PM via the *.org. I hope he finds the time because I really like the idea. -
XFSEconomy - xfse_alias.txt Patch - beta 1
woweezowee replied to Ben Russell's topic in Plugin Development
ok, I just had the first chance to fire up xplane in days. Unfortunately, the patched plugin won't work. While one can successfully log in, the "start flying" button does nothing. Also one can't "X" the pop-up window (make it vanish). -

471 flights, 273:52 hours. (that's my current stats in fseconomy, can't say for "all time", but my preferences kept nearly the same over the years). So instead take-off/landing every 3.2 hours, I have that pleasure every 0.5 hours. I really, really like it more that way. edit: forgot my third wish one more vote for the B200 or any other Beechcraft Twin. -

C-208, DHC6 I'm sorry to say, I see it is the top vote right now, but I don't get the point why all people want the heavies. I can't imagine something more boring to do than turning some knobs, programming a route, switching on the AP and finishing a some hours long flight with a auto-land system. You not even need a yoke or pedals to fly a heavy in a sim. On the positive side: You have enough free time to clean the house while your plane flies. Bring in some more votes to the GA-category, people! (And don't take me too serious on that one....) -
