no CTD (except the bug I mentioned above) on my Mac with Gizmo, X-Ivap, airport navigator, the KLN installed, as is the AN24 and some other complex planes, and a lot of more plugins. If it's needed dropped me a message and I'll do a full list of installed stuff.

I can reproduce a crash to destop by de-selecting a SID (choose RW, than SID, than push SID again to deselect it -> crash).

I really have no clue about those things. But maybe a hint could be the GoFlight Plugin. I set HDG, VS, DH, SPD, ALT and so on just the same as I do with every other aircraft with it. So obviously those commands (it's Sandys plugin) "arrive" where they need to be without messing with the CRJ or even crashing it. Just thought I'd share this. If it's utterly unrelated just ignore me

As long as that's not implemened, isn't there a good rule of thumb to calculate the trim settings according to overall weight? Would help me a lot, because if there's one thing I always and definetely completely fail at, then it's maths.

Nice interview. Strange that I'm doing something completely different to make a living compared to Javier, however, I really share those frustrations. I know there are lots of people "out there" who respect, appreciate or even really like very much what my team and I do - we're succesful. However, the majority of people speaking up and loud are the nay-sayers, complainers, childish..... Over time, you learn to cope with that. On the other hand, of course there also are the positive feedbacks, keeping the wheels spinning and ourselves motivated. Las but not least it is also a question on what you focus at: We actively do focus on critizism, because we take it serious and want to improve as much as is possible. Maybe that's why the good feedback too often gets taken for granted and "vanishes" in ones eyes. In regards to the CRJ, I think there are much more positive comments out there than negative ones.

to get the any disc out in a frustrating situation when it won't eject the usual ways: 1. restart your Mac and just after the the Gong hold the mouse pressed. You Mac will try as long as you press the button. 2. If that don't work: Every CD/DVD drive has a manual, mechanical ejection mechanism. Usually to handle with a needle, pushing it at one specific spot. Look up your hardware, shut down your computer, find the spot, get the disc out.

Basically that's an xplane feature, not special to the CRJ. But it seems to be possible to disable it via a Gizmo plugin: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=39419&view=findpost&p=578237

FWIW: No crashes with my Saitek gear (yoke, throttle and switch panel) until now - ever. And also not with the CRJ. I can even play around with the Switch Panel and no crash happens. (*) (*) wich I won't recommend, because it confuses with the custom commands of the plane. I only tested what might be possible, but won't use the Switch Panel with the CRJ. It's still and always plugged into the USB port, though.

I saw this 1/5 review shortly after I had posted mine. Well, what to say?! One star is so far out any reasonable argument that nobody will ever be able to compete with that "rating". Leave it, ignore it, with the follow up reviews everything seems to be said.

I'm glad to hear some more people demanding 64bit-xplane But mot sure if "xmapped" was the case here. definetely not airtrack, wich works fine with the CRJ installed. Edit: hm. That Custom Scenery "GTA" is a real mess. What's that? Would you try with your old settings but removing that?

my newest cockpit innovation: a very basic clipboard! why didn't I think of that earlier?!? you know that checklist then you know what I am about to fly now. will do some touch and goes.

I adjusted one of the pilot view settings, the outside view, so that it shows me the parked plane from a nice perspective and it is possible to open the door from there.

that's right, really not good. no, I did not see a plugin that disables this behaviour yet.
