  1. Just found the Sydney City Photo Scenery XP10 on ISDG's web site. A perfect compliment to this fantastic airport scenery. Now all we need is Laminar to deliver on their long promised fix to Botany Bay and flying around the Sydney region will be superb. Thanks to Chris and the others at ISDG Phil
  2. Pretty unfunny. So will this project be further held up by the installer/DRM/Gizmo/64bit problem thats delaying release of the updated MU-2, CRJ 200 and whatever else at this time? Phil
  3. Hmmmm.....the perils of a single point of failure! Phil
  4. That is just outstanding!! (thinks....hmmm!...helicopter flights upand down the harbour will be sensational) Thanks Chris
  5. Must be the longest tease in X-Plane history. I think you run the risk of prospective customers dying of boredom and/or taking their business elsewhere. Phil
  6. Strewth Chris! It's great to be the benficiary of an obsessive/compulsive scenery builder! Phil
  7. Aeropelican Yay! A most appropriate airline name for this aircraft given its pot-belly and oversize beak. Although i must point out this was their name long before they puchased the J32s. Thanks Javier
  8. Thanks Intrance good information to have. Javier seems to have got the performance spot on. Landing above 120 kts (flaps 35) there is a strong tendency to balloon and below about 100 kts to stall. Inside the range and all is well.
  9. 100% agree Javier. My post was directed at the several posters above who complained about over bright panel lighting. The effects they were looking probably were the result of trying to incorrectly run the Jetstream in 64 bit where most of the plugin driven lighting switches and rheostats could not be expected to work.
  10. Whats wrong with turning off the dome light, reading lights etc and using the rheostats to dim the remaining panels lights. By the way these controls only work when the plugin works ie 32 bit.
  11. Hi Javier I'm very much enjoying this beauty - thanks for your fantastic work! Aeropelican (nice name for an airline eh?) flies these out of Sydney to regional New South Wales and I'm inspired to make my first attempt at a livery. Do you plan to release a paintkit at some time? Phil
  12. Hi Chris, What's the best method to move gate starting positions? I'm trying to make room for my big fat 777 at say Int 37 or 34 where the aircraft pokes its nose into the passenger lounge ("Flying High" style). Using WED the very slightest movement shifts the aircraft 50-100m and sometimes reverses its direction even though the little icon still points the same way. Any suggestions? Phil
  13. Neigh? So you've included Randwick Racecourse as well? Phil
  14. My goodness! I just tried this out and wow! Even at this early stage of development you've really got a winner here Chris. The look and feel is fantastic (apart from the Botany Bay disaster - has anyone heard when Laminar plans to fix this?). I'll greedily add each beta as you can churn them out. Thanks for this. Phil
  15. Thanks Tom. Your candid aproach to what you are trying to achieve with this upgrade is just so refreshing when compared to the "keep 'em in the dark" atitudes of some other deveopers. Communication is much appreciated. Phil
  16. 1. Yes displays are dark with HDR on 2. Mac OSX 10.7.2 3. AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024MB
  17. Excellent! That fixed the problem. Thanks Goran. I'm looking forward to your next amazing offering! Phil
  18. Hi Goran, Very much enjoying the Duchess but I have one question. If I engage the AP once I've trimmed out at altitude she starts to porpoise slightly. Pressing ALT hold does not change this. Any suggestions? I can't recall if this happened on version 1.0. X-plane installed on a Mac. Phil Oops sorry!....Just saw this was mentioned for the 1.2 update
