  1. @HarlockG Would you mind posting your system specs? I almost dropped my coffee cup reading about 55 fps . That machine sounds like the praised land from my point of view, assuming that we're not talking vanilla xplane 11 and TBM900 only without anything else.
  2. A lot of people, me included, have had crashes with xplane AI enabled. The developers are aware it has something to do with AI, it just seems to be really hard to get to the bottom of this problem and the devs say it's unknown if it's a problem with the TBM, xplanes AI or traffic plugins, or even a weird combination of all that. Meanwhile I leave xplane AI off and just use the TCAS page to look for traffic injected by Live Traffic plugin. So far it's working for me without crashes.
  3. That's not the TCAS page in your picture, that's the MFD map. Turn the inner FMS knob to get to the TCAS page and you will see. Keep in mind that TCAS is in standby mode while you're still sitting on the tarmac, so turn it on to see ac shown.
  4. That's only partially true. As Live Traffic planes are injected into xplane just like online traffic eg on Vatsim, the TBM's TCAS does display them just fine without a need to enable some xplane AI planes. You only need to enable some xplane AI aircraft if you want Live Traffic planes to show up on your MFD map too.
  5. Thanks Goran for explaining in such detail! Not that I ever needed it up to now, but I had a window coming up asking me to name this pc, which I didn't understand at that time why it wants me to do so. Now is there a place somewhere where I can look up how much activations I used and which machine names I chose? EDIT: Goran (the man offering the fastest and best support ever) just gave me a hint via discord that the answer to my question is in the video, which I obviously didn't watch before posting. Shame on me!

    icing effects

Hard to say from the picture. The frame around the windshield seems to be iced, but the glass itself? Could be rain. However, I know that Toto mentioned windshield icing should still work if you have set visual effects to low in the TBM menu. Maybe that's why it's working for you. Low is not an option for me though.

    icing effects

@icywings11 I think he meant the windshield icing, which is in fact missing since a few versions. The developers may re-implement it in a future version.
  8. There was a similar problem discussed in this thread recently, maybe that helps you too.
  9. Well, the thrust reverse is described correctly in the manual. And regarding the yokes, you do know that you can hide them by a mouseclick on the yoke shaft?
  10. I think the TBM 2.0 will be bigger, have 2 jet engines and cruises at mach 0.80.
  11. No, you don't need to fiddle around with datarefs. The commands should be listed in the regular xplan key or joystick menu under the TBM section. If they're not there then we'd have to ask @Goran_M maybe they were simply forgotten to implement. I've never used this particular commands, I just have seen them being listed in the commands text file. (and sorry I can't check right now as I'm not at home with access to my PC)
  12. Goran already told you the yoke commands. In the TBM you have two independent commands to toggle left and right yoke. The default xplane command toggles both yokes and won't work in the TBM.
  13. @WS01 Maybe check if you have assigned the correct command. You need to assign "Toggle thrust reversers", but the one without the # behind. See my post in this thread The commands with #1, #2 etc won't work.
  14. So you say you loose the ELEC, FUEL and GEN windows when you're switching pages with the inner knob up/down command? I think that is to be expected as these are programmed to be selectable in the map page only. If you turn the inner FMS knob to select another page (eg TAWS page or weather radar page), there's no more SYSTEM softkey to be selected thus no such windows. But I might have misunderstood you...
  15. Just out of curiosity, which command are you using and what exactly is the the systems graphics issue you are getting?
  16. Here you go! Place these files into your TBM-900 folder and next time you start Spad.next it will recognize the TBMs commands and datarefs. By the way, for all the G1000 stuff there´s no need for custom commands, the default G1000 commands work well. For the MFD be sure to use the commands ending with n3. datarefs.txt commands.txt
  17. The problem is that spadnext is not aware of custom commands and datarefs. You need to teach it which datarefs exist. The solution would be to implement some kind of dataref "sniffer" into spadnext but the developer seems not to be interested in making something like that. What he does is he sends you a little tool upon request (you need to open a ticket) and this tool will export the datarefs to a file which you then return to the developer. He will then implement the datarefs into a future version, but that takes a while. Obviously not the fastest way. Fortunately there's another way, you can use datareftool to export commands and datarefs into txt files and put them in your aircraft folder. Spadnext will recognize and list them next time you start it. If you want I can upload the two text files needed when I'm back home.
  18. As long as you don't enable xplane AI its stable, at least on my machine. But I don't run much plugins generally and no scripts. Just try it, it's free.
  19. I've had good results with Live Traffic. It injects it's traffic as if it would be online traffic (like Vatsim) so it does not require you to configure some xplane AI aircraft for the TCAS to work. The downside of not configuring xplane AI aircraft is you won't get traffic shown on the MFD map, but I can live with this limitation.

    PITOT NO HT L

Your welcome! Given it's realism, looking for failure causes is real fun in the Hotstart TBM 900.

    PITOT NO HT L

Circuit breaker maybe? Or if you haven't turned off xplanes default failures, check these too.

    PITOT NO HT L

My best guess: It's broken Check the maintenance menu after you landed. You may have failed it by having it on while sitting on the ground with pitot covers still applied.
  23. That's the torque effect. You will notice the roll tendency to get stronger the more power you set. It requires just a bit of aileron trim to the right to get rid of the roll tendency when handflying.

    XP 11.35

You just have to update the xplane database, that's all. Load the default Cessna G1000 and check if it has updated database. If yes then the TBM is updated too, if no then you've probably selected a wrong folder in Navigraph data manager.
