This is not the rant section guys ...

I do not understand anymore those madness around a file release nowadays ... This is probably the most anticipated release of the decade, but dudes, it will surely be there within a month, so why demotivating and frustrating the hard working mans that LES are ? Why don't you go outside, make some jogging, sports, read on real aviation ( to understand how LOOOOOOONG real projects takes ... ) etc etc. IMHO, the best way to fully enjoy a product from the early start is to know it quite well, and don't launch an in-flight situation to throw it around, but directly starting from cold and dark, knowing the systems well and having printed all required checklists ... I know the LES 340A PDF manual is not out yet ( sadly ) but you will surely be able to find some real doc on google isn't it ?

Yes, both are very very expensive .. And don't worry, my I73970X is maxed out when making a working in Blender ( renders ) or any video/image/sound editiing, Computer Assisted Music etc etc But it's also a good investment for the years to come, hopefully this kind of rig will easily handle next X-Plane version, and also other simulators/games

Don't worry dude ;-) Leglaude just wanted to say " Bienvenue " héhé

About the GPU you meant ? Finally, does X-Plane worls best with single or dual GPU ? How it performs with the 690/7990 ? I'll wait the next gen of fastest cards and will probably sell this one to take latest, but definitely think X-Plane is far from taking advantages of everything, when I see how it handles eye candyu games or DCS ...

Was a bit disapointed at the beginning, as I thrown everything max... after savouring my defeat, I removed some AAA, turn Global Shadows to high only and got some great 60 FPS with high poly planes over country side, and high 30 over biggest citties/sceneries But my I73970X used 35% max ( with 25 AI planes ) the GTX Titan seems to be maxed out ... X-Plane really need optimising, hope to see that for X-Plane 11,in a year or two

Vraiment sympathique l'ami ! Tu voles où ? It's so rare to meet PPLs who actually loves X-Plane... they're all on FS games ;-(
-
Really nice ! What you explain here is more or less teh WoW ( Weight on Wheel ) system present in many real aircraft. There are really nice features here, like the autostart one if it works flawlessly.. This one will be a masterpiece for sure, now totally understand why did it require so long Good luck for the release process Cameron

Don't worry mate come here ;-) The ORGanization actually is the worst mafia on the web, ORGanization of bad asses, dumbs, psychorigids, racists, extremists, extreme capitalists etc etc ... if they were able to cut your tongue off to avoid you to speak, they'd do it ! Fortunately, they can only ban ya

Cameron, when X-Pilot will create a new kind of blog, as democratic as possible ? -
Hehe, I assume you're talking about me ... actually, there's no bug, the bug is my like I said ! If things are made to work in X-Plane 64 bit and I launch 64 32 bits instead ... hey ... just because of " retro compatibility " for the GNS 530 That dude really has to update his product
-
Some may say this is totally useless and silly ... I don't think so, as today's products came to a point all essential things are simulated as far as it can be ! Now they have to make some special " fine tuning " feature like that ! Hats off guys

Lol ... that great blog is sadly dead now ... It was such a place of heaven X-Plane news before ... now it randomly talks about any games that they likes ... It's their choice, but it's also ours not to follow them ... I loved " Xplane10blog ", not " XSimreviews " ... -

I am sorry to make that off-topic post but yes ... Nicolas Taureau is DEFINITELY THE WORLD BIGGEST FUCKTARD I agree ... Shame on him, he will miss the best turboprop plane of the year, and probably of the X-Plane 10 adventure ... -

This looks to be a good product, for sure

It sounds really nice ! And Khamsin should be proud you choose his product on your logo ;-)

Ok Wim, so I found the " sweet spot " value ... Go to plane maker, open the DC-3, then Standard>Engine Specs>Description Tab and in feathered pitch of prop you change the 88.0° to 77.5° Then save the plane and enjoy your now full stopped prop when feathered ( like the real ones ). Only from time to time, the wind makes it a fraction of turn against the cylinder compression, but this is how X-Plane manage piston engine Hope this helps PS : No found anything for auto retracting landing gear .... this is obviously in their code, ask Goran for that
-
Okay, I will test and give you the correct values. I have no idea why they don't put correct values, maybe they just copy those from the Aircraft Flight Manual, that can almost never be simply copied to plane maker, as plane maker isn't a 100% accurate rendition of real life aerodynamics etc ... in that case, it depends on the blade twist ( pitch changing along blade length etc etc ) For the landing gear automatically lowering when engine failure, I already noticed that ... this is probably yo help beginners when they killed the engines, helping them to save time and reduce workload ... but totally unrealistic. I will take a look at plane maker and see what can be done, I'm sure it is a check box somewhere in PM .. if it's not
