The problem with the IXEG boeing 737 Classic Plus upgrade
Litjan replied to Artem1859's topic in General Discussion
That is correct - if you purchased after the 6th of 2022 (the X-Plane 11 version) then the upgrade to the X-Plane 12 version should be free. Pils is correct, though - you will have to go through the support of X-Aviation to clarify your situation, provide a proof of purchase probably and then wait until support answers. Note that each new question you add to your support request will reset your position in the queue to the very end again. So impatient users that ask "hey, did you read my message?" every second day will never get an answer. Occasionally the person handling support requests also goes on vacation and does not work support during that time, so especially during vacation times it can take quite a while to get an answer. -
The problem with the IXEG boeing 737 Classic Plus upgrade

The offer for the discounted upgrade was temporary and has long since expired. If you did not receive a notification email, chances are that you have elected to not receive marketing emails from X-Aviation. -
IXEG 737 Classic 1.5.2 XP12 - Loosing Control on Final

Maybe try to remove those two plugins (move them out of the plugin folder, not just "disable") just to test if that is the problem? -
IXEG 737 Classic 1.5.2 XP12 - Loosing Control on Final
Litjan replied to evertoncwb's topic in General Discussion
I have never heard something like this and there is no aircraft system that would affect the aileron that could cause this. Does this happen every time? Or did it only happen one time? Check if you have random failures in X-Plane on. Also check if you have other add-ons (flywithlua, etc.) that could influece flightcontrol deflection. -
IXEG 737 Classic 1.5.2 XP12 - Loosing Control on Final

Your rudder is deflected to the left - this makes the plane want to roll left. Make sure the rudder is not deflected during flight. -
Hello, There is no FSX/P3D version of this aircraft, we only made one for X-Plane. The FMS knows all of the transitions and approach transitions (you call them VIA, but that is an Airbus FMS term) and the FMS can not yet handle complex altitude restrictions and speed restrictions on descent - that is a known problem, discussed in this post: https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/8526-things-that-are-not-going-to-be-in-v15/ As you can see, we are trying to be very open about the shortcomings and not-yet-implemented features for prospective customers. I have not seen the plane plan a T/D that is too early, unless the waypoints contain altitude restrictions that forced the plane to leave the cruising altitude prematurely. I am not sure why it does not work with your SimBrief flightplan, but we did not explicitly code SimBrief compatibility into it - I know others are using it with that and it seems to work fine for them. Cheers, Jan

Awesome news, good job, thanks, Ramon!

There is an older version of XPUIPC that works - it is just the last version that does not...but I don´t remember the exact version number.
-
Just got home - this is the cockpit with all lights turned down (except for the EFIS screens and CDUs):
-
TCAS works - if it does not work with a third-party program (like live traffic or Traffic Global, please contact the vendor of those programs). The weather radar showing weather may be the tilt being too low, the beam will hit the ground and you will see ground returns.

...and while this is not meant to belittle the need to actually implement the HOLD mode, you can pretty easily fly holds with the autopilot fairly accurately and easily if you use the FIX page together with the RADIAL feature, and then use the map mode and HDG SEL and the stopwatch to fly the patterns.
-
Take a look at the big round white light fixtures behind the copilots seat - are they lit?
-
Hi Scott, The down lights are probably the map lights - you can turn those buttons all the way to off (in reality you push them in to turn them off, then turn them left-right to adjust intensity). I am not sure about the panel being always lit, some ideas are the "emergency exit lights" or the "cockpit dome light" being on?
-
It is still alive, but I can not make any predictions as to when the hold feature will be implemented.

I will doublecheck that - one can disable the IXEG camera shaking in the preferences, though.

Question About IXEG 737 Upgrade Discount for X-Plane 12
Litjan replied to Nick_D's topic in General Discussion
Hi Nick, thanks for your kind words! There are - as far as I know - no plans to offer the regular discount again. However, there are occasionally sales on most of the aircraft for sale at X-Aviation, including the 737. As to when the next one will be, I have no idea - but if you are still on the mailing list as a regular customer, you should get notified when that happens. Cheers, Jan -
Hi Ramon, thanks for posting over here - I am hoping maybe a user with some experience along those lines, or even @tkyler or @Cameron have an idea what the problem here is?

IXEG 737 Tribute and report of a CTD outside view
Litjan replied to meshboy's topic in General Discussion
I don´t see anything unusual in your log - I would doublecheck for latest drivers and no overclocking...but other than that - no idea. And it is not a problem I have heard of before :-/ -
That is good, why don´t you let us know, too?

You have (I believe) three activations - so you can use the IXEG on three computers. As soon as you try to activate it a FOURTH time, you will be forced to FREEZE one of the previous activations, rendering that machine unable to run the IXEG forever. So I can not believe that - in order to activate the license on a second machine - you have to deactivate the first one. You get three activations before that step is necessary. Did you maybe install the IXEG on other computers as well (like a traveling laptop or on another machine upstairs or so)?

Hi there, switching to Win11 should not cause any problems like this - but may the configuration of your joysticks is off center now and this will prevent engagement of the autopilot - just like in the real aircraft. The autopilot will only engage if the yoke is not deflected. Let me know if this helped? Cheers, Jan

Thanks for reporting this! I can confirm the problem with the packs - the cabin pressure should leak, but it appears to be almost completely airtight (resulting in 0 rate of climb with packs off), I will investigate the code! The FLT/GRD switch only works while the aircraft is on the ground, as soon as it lifts off, it is automatically entering flight mode.

It has taken a while for me to test this - and it works fine on my side using the default X-Plane AI traffic. If it does not work with Vatsim, they need to fix it on their side, it may be that they changed something and do not adhere to the X-Plane conventions for traffic indication.
