  1. Request is noted! Cheers, Jan
  2. It depends... on your trim setting (trim should be set so that no force required during approach) on your center of gravity (forward CG will yield more pitch change per speed change) on your timing of thrust reduction (should not cut to idle above 10 feet or so) on the headwind (more wind will have more windspeed change in the boundary layer, making nose drop) on your control profile (the less linear it is, the further you will need to deflect your stick to achieve the same elevator displacement) on your break technique, the lower you do the break, the more pitch change you will need to reduce the sinkrate in time for touchdown On your target speed and speed decay before touchdown (especially with high speed additional you may not need to change the pitch much prior to touchdown
  3. A position that is shared with Tom here at IXEG... however in my position at LR as a technical advisor I find it under assault surprisingly often .
  4. You don´t really have to file it with LR, it is known as XPD-14421.
  5. Hi Pils, the reverse action is pretty much not changed or scripted by us - it is default X-Plane behavior. I agree that it would be more realistic to require the user to have the levers at idle first before being able to engage reverse thrust, but I also have to concede that the movement is much more natural in the real aircraft - you can´t really attempt to pull up the reverse levers with the throttle NOT at idle, the force pulling them up and back will automatically move your thrust levers to the aftmost position. In addition (although this is not a prime concern of me, as my stance is always realism > user experience), we would get a million bug reports "OMG, reverse is broken, WTF!!!!!!!" if we implemented this ;-) But yeah, you are technically correct! Cheers, Jan
  6. There is currently a bug with X-Plane where aircraft loose "parts" when zooming in on them from a distance. Nothing we have influence over.
  7. All valid complaints, I think - thanks for checking so thoroughly! There were SOME lights that did not light up during the light test...have to check the OM-B which ones, but I believe not any of the ones you mentioned. Cheers, Jan
  8. For what it is worth you need to turn up the panel lighting a bit for better visibility of the digits in the real aircraft also during the day...
  9. I assume you talk about the logo lights? Yes, that is why you see an "inop" label over them when you select the winglet option. The logo lights are installed in the wingtips and adding winglets you have to remove them.
  10. There is an option in the preferences menu to disable the side bump-out menus. If you toggle that option, you can´t get back to the preferences window to undo your choice, but you can assign a button or key to "toggle the menu" (I am not sure what the exact name is).
  11. I can not confirm on my end. Have you checked if your preference files have write permission for your OS?
  12. Have you watched my tutorial videos? I have the impression that you are not very familiar with the correct procedures to operate the 737. Here is a link to the tutorials: https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/10746-training-videos/ And here are some more: https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/17872-ixeg-videos-13-and-onward/
  13. Haha, I KEEP saying this but everyone goes "Oh yeah, he just says that so they don´t have to do wingflex and I like wingflex so I can stream YouTube videos with the wingview on landing and my viewers like to see the wing move up and down a lot like a panicked Albatros..."
  14. Look here in the forum, it was like 2.4.07 or so...
  15. There is a slightly older version that works!
  16. Thanks for the headsup, I will doublecheck when I get home. Does anyone else experience the same?
  17. Hi, you had the "Level 2" fail problem: 0:05:53.975 G64: debug: IXEG: Performing Level-2 check 0:05:53.975 G64: debug: IXEG: Level-2 check FAILED 0:05:53.975 G64: debug: IXEG: Killing critical functions, kill set [1] 0:05:53.975 G64: debug: IXEG: Killing critical functions, kill set [2] 0:05:53.975 G64: debug: IXEG: Level-1 PASS / Level-2 FAIL. 18. Use the X-Plane default weight and balance screen to set weights and fuel.
  19. Thanks for providing the solution here, @hermannk1!
  20. Please post your log.txt.
  21. Interesting - we will investigate!
  22. Window heat was fixed in the update that was released roughly 6 hours ago (your post if 4 hours old). Engine start is a known issue (mentioned several times in the post about the known issues and also in the patch notes). We will look at the Generator temps and your suggestion is noted.
  23. It says on the weight and balance GUI - read of the MAC%, enter that on the takeoff ref page and read of the required trim setting.
  24. There is an update upcoming that will likely help you with your landing flare (and the takeoff, too).
  25. The manual is outdated. Please use the X-Plane default GUI to enter weight, balance and fuel (the IXEG now uses the new load-station physics available in XP12, therefore the old ground services menu way of setting this could not be used anymore.
