so since this has been updated for XP11 I don't want to fly anything else. Only using P3D as I have been testing AH2 for the last 3 years with the devs, but this is my main ride. I can't find an FCOM but was wondering instead if I am better to get the book by Mike Ray? I have found it in the UK on Amazon, is it helpful? Here are a few things I can't seem to sort, maybe me, maybe I need the book, who knows.....Just want to learn what I can and get more enjoyment from the sim. Transition Altitude- cant' find it on the page where it should be......am I missing something or does it have a differnet wording? capture the GS- do I then disengage LNAV / VNAV? DISCOS-I can't find anywhere that explains how to remove them. FMS errors, mistakes input by me- if I mispell a waypoint how do I correct it? Video explaining ILS approach procedures- is there a good one? Would really appreciate any pointers on any of these, like I say I have a hunger to really learn this, I was previously just an A320 person. Before someone says read the manual I have it all printed off,(in the Aircraft folder) but still need to ask these questions, particularly interested if anyone has the book.... Thanks Wayne

Just a few shots from this mornings flight from Berlin to Zurich, great flight but I am really struggling to set up for the landing, back to the tutorials I guess.....

it's all about finding the sweetspot between wiggle room in your system and overloading......seems to work fine to me but I recently re-examined the plugins I was using and removed some I thought were pointless, also I don't use ortho stuff.....pic below of today....it's the same on all flightsims since the year dot you have to play with settings, on P3D before it went v4 I ghad one lot of settings for GA and another for Airliners, less detail etc.....I also have xenviro but I prefer the clouds in SMP so I tend to use that mostly...

are you talking about the Aerosoft version or this one through Xaviation?

thats weird, I found the opposite but also updated XP11 to 11.05.....

I have just reinstalled my Track-IR, any of you using it with XP11? Does it work OK without nay plugins? I tjhink it will make flying the 733 even better, also what do you do when you want to look outside, maybe get a screenshot or something? do you pause it or just leave it as it is? Wayne

oh just thought, before TOD into Berlin the other day I couldn't find where to set Transition Alt for EDDT, should I have done that during the set up at Mnachester? I have looked through Tutorials but failed to find it....

ok thanks, sat at EDDT changed from one to other, pressed apply now hardly any clouds, I guess maybe the METAR has been updated......

thanks Tom, I use Simbrief/Navigraph so I will look at that for my next flight........ similar subject, see in the image below....ground service menu has one C OF G and Trim, FMS has another, do I adjust my FMS to match the ground service?

I am wondering if there is a way of setting PAX and Cargo?, never found anything apart from Randomize on the groundservices, I set my fuel from there..... Wayne

does the cloud style change the detail of the cloud whereby making it easier to draw? I seem to have a bit more room in sim as my FPS and available VRAM are showing more availabilty, I have it set to soft and coverage at 20000km......is there an optimal setting or just a case of tinkering....? +1 on that, can't get enough of this one, from the moment I land I am onto simbrief etc planning the next flight......previously struggled with Boeings but this is great and the tutorials and help on here has made this AC and XP my go to sim .....
