  2. How many people I wonder have already ordered XP10? I have and didnt hesistate to push the purchase button Slainte, Andy NZCH
  3. So you actually have to dial in the proper freq on yor radio before you get any ATC? I was wondering why I was only getting the "file a flight plan" text option..... Slainte, Andy NZCH
  4. ooohhhhh, Im soo looking forward to this, and the video would be fantastic!!! As I said before win-win for everyone...including the developer! Was playing with XP10 demo.....found that if I turned AA off and set HDR to FXAA and Global to High then the sim runs really smoothly!!! Slainte, Andy NZCH
  5. My biggest question is...what about pushback? I held a 747 up yesterday just by sitting at the boarding gate, seems the fellow wasnt prepared to be pushed back and so waited until I had shifted him via the local map. Also, anyone else seen the acrobatic 747 that started at the boarding gate and then landed, after performing a loop I might add, back at the boarding gate? It was quite a site.....didnt wwant to try it myself Slainte. Andy NZCH
  6. And that you have done beautifully.....heart and soul And chance of zipping the images and posting them for us "3d pervies" to download and droll over on the home PC ? Slainte, Andy NZCH

Hey Ola, agree with the keys....got a little bit used to them after my 4th 10min flight. There is a txt file in the root directory that has the new key commands.....tower view I think is shift+7? Looking forward to seeing whatever videos you put out....they are usually fantastic! Slainte, Andy NZCH
  8. is that an in-sim shot? XP9 or 10???? The plane is looking absolutely amazing!!!! Really really really want this one now.....especially as I have come to a comfortable compromise with XP10 FPS and rendering quality (Win 7 Home, AMD dual core 2.8, GTX260, 2 Gb system ram 24" Viewsonic LCD, Philips 17" LCD, Saitek Yoke, 2x Throttles, Rudder pedals.....) Slainte, Andy NZCH
  9. what does that mean? Slainte, Andy NZCH
  10. Hi Pete, thanks for listening to our plea's.....the images are getting very impressive, breathtaking is also a word I could use but its getting harder to find the appropriate words anymore, unless someone makes a new language! Looking forward to seeing more scrennies and then eventually flying this beauty Slainte. Andy NZCH
  11. didnt realise you were trying to get some sleep.....will try and keep the noise down, unless our chattering is interfering with you work on the DC3? Hint Hint Slainte, Andy NZCH
  12. I live in the Pacific region so getting the Aerosoft version wont mean much for me unfortunately. I will just wait for the "ordinary" version to be released and then add scenery as required.......unless they make a "Pacific" version (or anything south of the equator even....). Slainte, Andy NZCH
  13. I agree with Bamboo Cougar, there is something about the DH designs that span the centuries and still has a look and feel about them, that says "this is quality." This will sit nicely in my hangar along with all the other great payware planes I have bought over the years Congrats gents Slainte, Andy NZCH
  14. Either way its a win-win situation for us users, we a great plane modelled by a great plane-smith (if there is such a word...), and its ready for the next great release of XP! I am more than happy to wait..as it seems the AN-2 is getting an upgrade as well!!!!! Lainte, Andy NZCH
  15. it says available next year...from Aerosoft, doesnt actually say that XP10 from Laminar or the org wont be released on time. Still, great move by Aerosoft....never would have thought about releasing something on hard drive (wonder if they mean the new SSD drives...). Slainte, Andy NZCH
  16. At the mo Im using the defualt switching built into XP (defauly settings for buttons etc....), I have the DTA avionics panel that runs with the default button assignments as well, but am building a TQ and radio set from scratch, and the default buttons are a bit limiited hence the datarefs. I have downloaded the XPtoDataref button assignment utility and will play with that, so for me all I need is a list of datarefs you are going to use. Slainte, Andy NZCH
  17. Hi Steven, dont the saitek panels run using the SaitekPanelsdataref plugin? if they do you should be fine....I guess, unless Pete has used a different dataref for certain things? Slainte, andy NZCH
  18. Are there any options for us cockpit builders who have dedicated hardware for throwing switches and levers etc? I have the Saitek yoke pedals and throttle levers but I also have some Desktop Aviator boards with switches and levers as well. Just interested is all Slainte, andy NZCH
  19. Hi Carlos, cheers for that.....pity it inst in 9 format.....maybe if I open it in PM and save it again that might work? I have exceeded all my download limits yesterday downloading the PM and Blender tutorials....have to wait a day before I can get the chance to download again! SO what are you flying now? Slainte, Andy NZCH
  20. please excuse my ignorance...what is the first plane? It looks familiar but cannot for the life remember its name. Where did you download her....might need to try it out in my "hangar." SLainte, Andy NZCH
  21. Look a bit stuck bro..... This is a great plane and I am glad I bought her.....now we just need the DC3 and my hangar of radials will be almost complete Slainte, Andy NZCH
  22. oh, this just gets better and better (might have said that before....but its true!), definitely cant wait to fly this one Slainte, Andy NZCH

    Hydroz Releases PBY-5A

I paid my money and have enjoyed flying her so far......not that I get much time to fly these days. The money I paid has gone to a good cause, keeping a true beauty airborne. we have one in New Zealand that is still flying, and hopefully will be for many more years to come...as long as the funding and contributions dont dry up. SLainte, Andy NZCH
  25. very cool...... Slainte, Andy NZCH
