  1. I'm not sure how detailed G5 will be modeled, but there are several screens that can be brought up on G5 (in real life) G5 HSI unit requires GMU11 magnetometer mounted on the wing. I don't think think developers will go to that extreme LOL, but who knows
  2. G5 doesn't have anything to do with GTN. G5 uses any GPS source available (in real life)
  3. Did he have any input on flight model?
  4. Is it based on Thomas Dietrich airplane? Did he take part in development?
  5. I was ok with ground handling before, but now TBM reminds me DCS Spitfire - super sensitive on the rudder. In real life (generally speaking) rudders have pretty good resistance which can be translated as a bit delay until muscle memory learn sufficient force to apply to get airplanes stabilize. Now TBM is bit touchy on my taste - feels more like Citabria or Decathlon . I would assume much heavier controls. But that just me.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Don’t worry G1000 is pain in the ass in real life. I like farming touchscreen the best! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I used FL300 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Sorry I have deleted it already, what left is log from smartCARS.
  9. Yes everything was fine . There was some moderate turbulence due to Active Sky but AP handled pretty good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. KDEN - KSEZ FQF J10-J128 HBU J10 RSK J10 FLG Both KDEN and KSEZ are add on airports ( purchased them at org store)
  11. I did complete 2 hours flight in11.32R2 no problems whatsoever !
  12. Did you set altimeter to correct pressure ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. No I don’t, but I’m pretty sure HoStart will fix it when 11.32 goes live Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The approach charts for US airports that comes by default on TBM MFD. Since LR changed back and force chart source they don’t load after last update. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. That what my students do all the time. I don't think it's a bug!
  16. So I tried a flight on 11.32R2. No problems except charts do not work for obvious reasons. Everything else is OK
  17. Have anyone tried RC2 with TBM? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. "We are doing our best in handling the support and staying visible in the community, and we would appreciate it if you are experiencing these CTD's, to not make any further posts about it. We know you only want to help, but when we get new notifications about a CTD and the Flight Plan key on the FMS, it takes time away from other support questions."
  19. I followed work around procedure described above. I deleted my previous flight plan from the stock C-172. After that I loaded TMB, powered up G1000. Up to this point everything was alright but when I loaded XP11 fmc flight plan I got CTD immediately
  20. But can you load flight plan after that?
  21. brace for impact, 11.32 is already cooking https://developer.x-plane.com/blog/?fbclid=IwAR34jHiZug2VgO6eB7PjzIz9qM39ImS63-WGT0gEg7HkuYpD2CllBXoXYW0
  22. I'm using CH rudder and it seems work for me. As far as taxing with crosswind I always use aileron- elevator wind correction to stay on center-line
  23. For the most past rudders in real airplane have significant resistance which is hard to simulate in XP gaming hardware. For example, If in pilot who jumps from Piper Cub to Piper Malibu will discover difference in rudder sensitivity very quickly. That lag between expected reaction and physical force required in my opinion is very well simulated in TBM900. I had numerous students in the past transitioning to heavier airplane commonly tend to weer off of runway due to insufficient rudder application. There is always a small learning curve between motor skills (physical sensation) and aircraft reaction. So the best advice of XP is to "dance on the rudder" with very small corrections until muscle memory settles within particular aircraft model.
  24. Just a thought. I have tried several performance heavy airplanes to fly exact same route KRNT CYZT and no crash occurred. Then I tried to fly TBM in other location that involve 3rd party scenery with high CPU demand and has experienced no problems whatsoever. So I'm thinking the error that caused my CTD may come with some kind of combination of "parsing route/navaid in G1000 and autopilot functionality" rather then possibility of running out of memory
