  1. Thanks for reply. Oddly enough problem disappeared after PC restart! Go figure!
  2. I have just installed new version of IXEG along with new beta gizmo. However, every time I load aircraft cold or dark tiller rotates on its own left and right, which create small lateral movement of the aircraft. It's been working without any problem over the years and now this oddity manifest itself. I'm using laters non beta XP11 version with experimental model "on". I also use TM Warthog and CH rudder pedals. Any advice would be appreciated.
  3. Yet you can add it if you want it.
  4. It's been a while. A lot of new projected announced as well. Is there any foreseeable update in the nearest future ?
  5. Any plans to retrofit GPS and add avitab?
  6. If my memory serves me well APR must be engage for GPS LPV guidance.
  7. Where you in APR mode?
  8. Still it would be great to see temporary 11.41 version It's a shame XP11 doesn't supply rain ice effects as stock feature MSFS2020 has both rain and icing for all aircraft by default! Don't ask me how I know (not from the public sources)
  9. I have RTX 2080 and also struggle with bad fps. At some point FPS gets worse than FF320 which is heaviest addon for fps ever on my PC. I hope you guys figure something in next updates
  10. HI, I decided to purchased G5 and installed it to BN-2. After installation I have notice significant fps drop. Is there any way to optimize it? Also I own real G5 that is installed in my 172. I have noticed that power button in your version doesn't work. In real life short press on power button goes to brightness menu (bar below PFD). I used this a lot especially when I fly at night . From the right seat perspective G5 is very dim, and when brightness is set to auto so I always adjust it manually up. Will you implement those features at some point of time? Thanks
  11. It's ok as long as your work on it!
  12. A lot of improvement with the sound the patch yet there are still some problems. I haven't flown an airplane in my life yet that I could hear sound of elevator trim while engine running ! I believe it would be a case for islander . IN fact, I have purchased my first ANR headset after flying twins because they were to loud! In BN-2 1.0.1 a trim wheel make very loud sound with engine running. In turn engines are way quieter ! I also don't think sound of knob GNS530 knob rotation could be heard either! Anybody else noticed that?
  13. Ok thanks. What HDI did you model it after. Some very old Bendix King?
  14. It takes as little learning curve to get to use to things but it get less frustrating as you get hang on them. I have several friends ex airliners in their 70th who after some time got accustomed to flight sim and now know more things they I do lol As for me I got lucky. I was long time summer before becoming commercial pilot and CFI! So my learning curve is always short. I hope things will work for you . Looking forward for you impressions of flight model.
  15. Just found another minor thing. When window open on pilot side sound doesn't change. Also , I'm not sure if it possible but if engines rpm nos sync it would be great to hear "waawwaaa" if you know what I mean
  16. Does anyone knows how to slave HSI with GPS? I Set CDI to GPS on GNS530 but it has no effect.
  17. off topic: I have found some article about Islander handling https://www.pilotweb.aero/features/flight-tests/flight-test-britten-norman-bn-2-islander-1-5293959
  18. Number 2 yes!
  19. It's not hard to land aircraft with 20 kts crosswind if you know how to do it. LOL I don't remember any civilian prop twins that allowed to spins. The thing is if one engine quit it would be hard to recover. But anyway can you describe your of spin entry?
  20. Aircraft does stall before Vmc. I’d like to hear from people who flown it .my twin experience bound by Seminole and Duchess
  21. Thanks for the answers. Regarding upcoming patch are we talking weeks or months?
  22. I'm not familiar with BN-2 but during my trials I cut and feathered right engine, the pull to Vmc and stalled before reaching 40 kts. Is that true in real life? If so BN-2 is the safest twin ever!
  23. OK few things: Observations: When head set is on there shouldn't be any ambient nose of wind or squeaking sound! I can tell you it as long time user of Bose A20! Also when head set is on and external view is selected for some reason sound is muted. External view sound shouldn't be affected whether pilot wearing head set or not. Circuit breakers are functional this is awesome! Unfortunately cockpit utility light doesn't move. Will they in nearest future? Again it would be great to see checklist, manual, power settings!
