Try the product in a clean install of the X-Plane demo with no additional third party content other than what the CRJ installs. This will not affect your activation count. Your hardware key will be the same. You also need to take the full text of the reply into account. This product has been stable for thousands of users for many years.

I was restoring a backup of her 4S to her brand-new 6. iOS8.0 is the problem.
-
Upgraded my friends phone for her. Process was buggy and problematic. iOS8 is about the same, niggly little bugs with stupid things like the lock screen not giving access to the camera occasionally until you unlock and relock the phone.... New hardware is "ok". 240fps camera is kinda fun. Overall: meh. I'll stick with my half dead 4S, it does pretty much exactly the same things.

please, stop sending posting silly emails updates, just send emails post updates if its something like updates on the plane,or the actual release(I'm not asking when, just email when it is released!) On a more serious note; I wouldn't expect any updates on this thread until the December Holiday Season is in full effect. Michael is placing priority where it belongs, on his academic future. A quick Google will reveal that the tests he is currently undergoing are active until early December. Once his tests are complete he'll probably focus his time on enjoying his holiday time with actual family and friends. After that he'll probably be busy with college and his future. My personal bet is that Michael will be so busy with the next phase of his life that this project won't progress any further than it has. And rightly so. College is far far more important.

I respectfully counter that there's a reason why this thread sat idle for over a year.

Does the latest version of the MU-2J include the new GPS in 10.30?
Ben Russell replied to jcomm's topic in General Discussion
"Officially": No not yet. "Unofficially": Yes. See link. http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/6884-new-gns-430/?p=75132 -
Sorry, we've locked Tom in a room with nothing but a computer and a 737 FMS reference manual until further notice.

Do those competing products qualify as study simulations? Are they in active use as professional training aids? Probably not. ...but we do what we can.

Thanks for reporting back your findings. -

X-Plane (Steam) doesn't start after install Saab 340A
Ben Russell replied to CharlieAlpha's topic in Saab 340A
CharlieAlpha: The only way I can get the error message "Fatal Error SteamAPI_Init () failed ..." to appear is to try and start X-Plane from the Finder. Starting X-Plane from Steam this error message never appears for me. Unfortunately there is another error with Gizmo64 version 14.01.___ that the Saab ships with. This error only occurs when using X-Plane (10.25) for Steam on a Mac. This problem is fixed in both X-Plane 10.30 and the next version of Gizmo64 which is not publicly available yet. X-Plane 10.30 should be available "soon" on Steam. The next version of Gizmo64 is still in development. I'm sorry but I cannot give you a fix "right now" only a promise that in the near future it will be fixed when updates are released. Thanks for your patience. -

Command Shell Window pops up when hitting pause key
Ben Russell replied to teddii's topic in Saab 340A
Gizmo never calls an outside process in this manner. Gizmo scripts are not capable of calling an outside process in this manner. They are sandboxed. The lua function io.popen is disabled. They are sandboxed specifically to stop people writing malicious scripts that do dumb, dangerous or devious things to your system. I suggest you reset your preferences and re-test. (Delete or move the contents of X-Plane/Output/preferences/ folder.) -
No. Gizmo required additional functionality to make it work with the multiple retail variants of the CRJ. We will hopefully be able to post more information regarding this project soon.

You think life's hard now, wait 'til later... This is the easiest part of life you'll ever have. Enjoy it.

Better yet, learn some basic image editing skills and highlight your concerns by annotating the imagery so there is no room for confusion. Don't give feedback that can be understood. Give feedback that cannot be misunderstood.

I would expect a user with a real complaint to happily accept the offer of a refund. Instead the user chose the path of absurdity. Says a lot about the real source of the issue.

hilarious. it may happen some day but it definitely won't be this project.

Reality isn't subject to rendering on a computer display. Trying to cram the color space of "reality" into a computer display is literally like looking at the world through a drinking straw. Trade offs must be made.

Compare the Histograms from the above images. SkyMAXX: Default X-Plane: Default X-Plane is demonstrably brighter. Maybe it's the puffiness giving the illusion that SkyMAXX is lighter... X-Plane just gives you a uniform smear of .. well... crap.

...a European countryside simulator with an A380. (Outtera looks absolutely nothing like my part of the world. Cannot understand the fascination.)
