  1. Banned. Apologies for not doing it earlier. I'm tired of this crap, thought I might actually take a weekend to myself for a change. Apparently not.

If by fun you mean having a heavy electric motor go through your windshield followed shortly by a vaporised Li-Po battery at working temperature..... yeah, no, that's not "fun" at all. But you'd probably live through it, as opposed to hitting anything else at those speeds. The pilot's an idiot. There is no skill here.

..i'd rather hit that model plane than anything else I expect to find on a freeway.
  4. How about we ban political ads and make them use the budget to pay people to turn up and vote instead of threatening to fine them if they don't. That way we save taxes, get more voters, and get a free dinner on election day.
  5. This guy will be banned shortly... just making an example of him before I do.
  6. does this mean we can stop having the drm talk? :/
  7. A live poll feedback system would be FAR more useful. Who knows, maybe after we're done pissing 34 billion away we might figure it out. (subsidized faster access now is more useful than the government building Telecom 1.5)
  8. In Australia you can have Chicken or Beef with your choice of spices.

  10. Ahhh, nice to see Carenados quality control is... uhhh, fully functional. Please excuse the hair trigger. I have solid reasons for it.
  11. From the Org website, posted by Nicolas. Emphasis added by me for WTF factor. For comparison, quoted with my clipboard: Draw your own conclusions. Org thread: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=47091&pid=521656&st=0&#entry521656 EDIT: Seems Nicolas has quoted an AVSIM forum post made by Carenado, I am quoting their website direct. The wording errors and inconsistencies seemingly come from Corenado. This was discovered and pointed out by Cameron about three posts down, I have moved this edit block here to ensure that no un-founded anti Org/Nic/whatever statements are made. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/293480-carenado-enters-x-plane-market/page__pid__1813129#entry1813129
  12. Thank you for ignoring me Rush. Really appreciated. Please make more effort to help others help you. Without information you are asking people to guess whats wrong. This wastes everyone's time. Please do not make me draw up some kind of formal warning, suspension and ban policy in consultation with everyone else just to deal with the posts you make. That would be very non constructive. You are at -52 karma. Wake up. This is a group environment.
  13. ...it's from a game due out in about a month or two... Call of Duty, Black Ops. Let's talk about ..state..of..the..art.., shall we, dis-assembly intentional. It's not a buzzword, it's descriptive sentence. What is the state of the art-form known as X-Plane payware content today... From the best of the best, definitely competitive. Especially when budgets and life constraints are considered, throw in the fact that we're all spread out all over the planet and not condensed into one floor of an office building with -every piece of new hardware we'd like- -thrown at us- and I think we're doing pretty well. (Look up the DICE Battlefield Bad Combat team HQ video...) Slide down the bell curve a little and the bar starts to slip pretty quickly. I would like more reviews and trial versions so that we can all have a look at everyone elses payware product and see if any of us have the right to talk smack the way we do. All sides inclusive. I don't think there is anyone that can lay claim to having truly looked at ALL the "best" payware. Anyway. I'm done recharging my solar and O2 stores, i'm going deep and silent again. Cyaz.
  14. Thank you, WombatBoy.
  15. Rush. This is not good enough. Stop posting useless crap. Please. You KNOW what you need to fill this thread in. Do it. (version numbers, screenshots, URLs, log files, all that bullshit.) Stop being a jerk.
  16. Cutting edge artwork competing for your dollar.
  17. - Don't smash the throttle to the firewall, take off gently. - Fly the plane. - This is x-plane, p-factor and torque are "educationally" enhanced.
  18. Thank you.
  19. Thanks Rush. ..I want any threads in this section to be a quick reference to good product. I want people to click and play, not Copy Paste and Google.
  20. ..and buy the plane, show support for your authors people.
  21. Captains, I have just performed a significant upgrade to the DRM server software. It is now capable of serving you up with multiple hardware keys per purchase with NO support requests or intervention. For now you are automatically granted 3 hardware keys for any DRM protected product you purchase. Simply copy your product to any 3 machines(or operating systems) and perform standard Gizmo activation. Your patience while this new version is burned-in is appreciated. Working towards the best DRM I can make for you all. Vendors, Producers, Customers. All of you. I would like to reiterate that the DRM server lives on Googles App Engine which provides it with as good as infinite life span as I can hope to ever provide. For more information on App Engine please see this page: http://code.google.com/appengine/docs/whatisgoogleappengine.html In 5 seconds:
  22. Mac Universal Build. 10.8 beta 1. No feature changes. Built on my G5. Tested and working on G5 with 10.5.8(latest?) and a MBP 10.6.4 Intel.
  23. I take issue with "mandatory donation ware" ......donation is by definition, voluntary. If you were to release your full unrestricted version under a "pay what you feel like" license and you qualify for donationware. Releasing a trial, limited version of your application and calling it donation-ware is incorrect English. Sorry. This is shareware. Demoware. Trialware. etc. Definitions of shareware on the Web: * software that is available free of charge; may be distributed for evaluation with a fee requested for additional features or a manual etc. wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn ......all that ranting aside, it looks like an interesting tool. Nice to see you've been able to leverage CUDA.
