    -shrugs- These settings have supported "auto" modes for me for years now across multiple hardware and operating systems. YMMV I suppose.

    GPU switching is automatic. Forcing it to the more powerful GPU does nothing except increase base-line power consumption. Stick 16 SLI nvidia chips in a desktop and no one cares. Stick two slightly different chips in a laptop and it's rocket science.

    Aviation standard time is ZULU. Use it. Everyone else can work out THEIR OWN offset.

    +1 kesomir. Buying genuine Intel also means that you don't get caught out with weird edge case compatibility with things like Linux Kernels and stuff too. I have various VIA/AMD systems around that need special flavours of kernels to boot, or can't run things like OpenDarwin. You might save $50 now, but it'll annoy you for the entire life of the hardware.

    There is a Common Shape Library or CSL for short. It can sort of half work, but it's not perfect, and you need a wide variety installed. Actually creating and installing them is a black art, no idea if or where any of the file formats or install locations are documented. You will always have CoG alignment issues too, other sim clients will always show up with wheels off the ground or sunk or w/ever.

    XSB is greedy about its use of AI aircraft, this has a long and obscure history. Bottom line. If you want to do anything with the AI aircraft REMOVE XSB from your plugins folder. Disabling in-sim isn't enough, you need to stop it loading.
