  1. Well my pet polar bear and I made it through the day. We sat inside in front of the fans... was nice. -------------------------------------------- Really though, I pretty much die if the temp gets over 85ºF. Temperature has been a huge deciding factor in what school I'll go to next year. Keep drinking lots of water and checking in on any elderly neighbors of relatives you have; this heat is a real killer. Stay cool everyone!
  2. 70°? Or F? Anything below 40°/104F i wouldn't call hot. Sure, you may sweat a bit but thats it. Nothing to complain about, imho. 70ºF! Time to dig out all the fans; no air conditioning here...
  3. No kidding, it's supposed to hit 70 tomorrow! Heat wave!
  4. Amazing video, too bad it's of the whalebus instead of the queen. ;D
  5. Oh please! How about modeling it after Alaska Airlines' -400s, they are the second largest operator after all... ;D
  6. For the future if this ever happens again and you can't find where it is, draw some (I start with 4) colored blocks on the paint, then look at the plane and see what color the area you want painted is. You can then repeat the process in the square to narrow it down if you need to.
  7. I hate to point out spelling and grammar mistakes in released products (if it's likely to be too late to fix) in case the developer's first language isn't English. But I wish more people were available to proofread stuff before release. Absolutely. But as far as I know, Jack, Joe, and Nicholas all know English to the point to know that "cant" needs an apostrophe. I'm half teasing and half being serious here... I'm half Australian myself and my family members from there tease us about our English and vise-versa...
  8. ..same old lack of detail. Do you guys(Jack, Joe..) seriously just not get it or what? Don't even bother replying, I just don't care. It's obvious you don't get it. ...but you gotta give them credit, at least the number of grammar mistakes are up to the .org standard.
  9. Same! So much so that I didn't even bother to ask. Great to see you doing multiple versions of the plane, something I wish I saw more of.
  10. Yep it's funny to see; but you have to remember that there is only one extra person in that cockpit, not counting the photographer of course.
  11. Or we could get Southeast Alaska and be able to fly from NorCal all the way up the coast! Just a thought… ;D
  12. Yep I'm stumped Goran. I can see in your model and in other pictures the gauge has a knob below it, I have no idea what it would do however.
  13. Hmmm. Look again. It has 1 artificial horizon for the Captain, 1 for the FO. The instrument in the center of the panel that LOOKS like an artificial horizon is actually NOT an artificial horizon. Any takers on what you all think it is? My bet would be on it being a bank indicator, as seen in this image.
  14. Spent the last few days finishing up and testing my new creation for the Next Gen Turboprop competition: It took me 3 years to get to this point, I wonder how much longer it will take me to learn 3D design... :
  15. What are you getting at, Kaphias? Are you trying to say the hardware tester does not accurately do its job? Last I checked it reported to people whether their drivers and hardware would show the displays of the CRJ just fine...just curious. No no, it appears the hardware tester works fine! From what I read in the above posts it seems people were talking about FPS- which as far as I remember the hardware tester gives no indication of. Is that correct or am I mistaken?
  16. I hope that wink means you're joking.
  17. He's quoting the terms when signing up here, Perry. No worry. I'm not worried. He did say US LAW though, so that's how I interpreted it. As Cameron said, he quoted the terms. he didn't say anything. And while we're at it: Your use of "BS" is very amusing considering the rest of your post.
  18. So after reading this and the previous information I think there's a CRJ issue as everyting I've read has said that the CRJ runs much better than many other high-quality aircraft. But... Ah! This I did not know. Has this been stated somewhere before? If not, why wasn't this stated earlier when it could of saved all involved a whole lot of time?
  19. So when I read: -The A380, SSJ, T34, etc. run fine on his computer -The CRJ "chokes the second I turn on the avionics" -The hardware tester said his system was ok I have to wonder what I'm missing. I own none of the mentioned aircraft so I don't want to jump to any conclusions. Michael, what happens when you turn the avionics on? Does the system freeze immediately or do the avionics come up, then followed by a frame-rate drop?
  20. If you can run the A380 decently them I'm shocked that the CRJ is so slow.
  21. Sometimes I feel like you just like to stir the pot. Of course!
  22. We never saw exactly what Cameron sent him.

Old topic, I know. I'm still a 748 fan, but my goodness does the new Korean Air A380 look good: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Korean-Air/Airbus-A380-861/1914532/L/

  25. I've got two for everyone, a soft landing in X-Plane and a bit of a bumpy one from the real world:
