  1. That was a joke… this is how you post looks like on a 1920x1200 screen
  2. could you make the video bigger 'cause I can't see… ;-)
  3. Anyone use that profile, because The fuel planning I get is pretty minimal and it doesn't seem to take into account how much fuel I want at the end of flight. There is barely the minimum (I finish with About 1200Kgs each time) and that's with a flight without go-around and no diversion to alternate airport. I am in a flight right now and asked to have 2400Kgs of fuel I'll see if it manages to do it properly.
  4. Thx for your explanation... I did manage to do it by hand but I had to keep max bank angle and a good angle of attack to keep speed in the low part then accelerate once the radial intercepted....
  5. still a bug, easy to correct though…
  6. I fly it by hand for my part, in fact since I have the IXEG, I find myself flying a lot more by hand than with other planes, I just did one auto land, for the fun of it…
  7. for airac 1605 it shows from 28/APR/2016 to 5/MAY/2016 (I guess there is an error, because AIRAC 1605 is the active one and we are way past 05/MAY).
  8. Hello, I wanted to report this the first time but I thought that it might not be an IXEG issue. But seeing that others are reporting when the plane doesn't follow SID/STAR, I guess I might add my 2 cents... Here it is : The SIDS from UMMS runway 31, most of them include a right turn once reached 1300ft, Let's take GOVIK1B, as you see you have to turn right from 311° to 241° The FMS will discard the right turn and intercept directly to the left. As you see we are on runway 31 and the ND shows the line to the left. I checked with another plane (FF763) which has been said on various youtube videos to have a good interpretation of Nav data, but as you see it gets fooled exactly the same way. This made me think that the culprit with the mis-interpretation of navdata might be the navdata itself given the same results on two different planes from two different editors. I guess the other topics about bad STAR or SID following might have their origin in the navdata itself.
  9. I would recommend you to open the case and Check the fans and heatsinks they might be clogged over time, you will find a step by step guide on iFixit.com showing you how to open the MBP and dismount the fans, I bet the heatsinks are dirty.
  10. on a 6700k Corei7 @ 4.5 GHz aircooled I get about 50°C under load and the max temp for today's flight is 77°C on an aircooled 980Ti (OC to 1420MHz) it's pretty warm in the room. No Thermal Throttling from CPU or GPU, as I had with my iMac 5K (90-95°C under load on x-plane with way less things turned on in the graphics settings).
  11. so this is like on the real plane ?
  12. yes but I can't find the knob because it doesn't light up
  13. The brightness control button doesn't light up on the FO Side ;-)
  14. I saw some blinking on the clouds for my part but I'll try to power off WX to see if it's related
  15. I'm pretty sure they will, this kind of option won't be hard coded, you'll have the choice like others do... (Like it is already with fuelling time : realistic or instantaneous). It's the best way to satisfy people like me and you and people more in a hurry...
  16. I use the template for the 733 it works fine. But Topcat cannot calculate take off & Landings.
  17. I understood that he wants to use the navdata from other addons with the IXEG. I use FMS data manager as it updates all my software at once (X-plane, FF, JAR, IXEG and PFPX)
  18. isn't the format of the NAVDATA specific to a given add on ?
  19. I wasn't really arguing anyway, just joking a little bit. I don't mind for an option to have the IRS aligned instantly, I do think that if you start cold&dark, you still have to setup everything, so when you get to the "check your plan in the CDU part" the IRS is Aligned. again I'm not arguing with you, just exposing my humble opinion. I think for now the turn around option is not so bad if you're in a rush.
  20. I agree to disagree.... It does teach us to not forget to turn on IRS first so you don't have to wait for it... And if you forgot anyway, it will teach you patience... ;-) in French we have a saying "quand on n'a pas de tête, on a des jambes" (When you have no head, you have legs), meaning literally : if you forgot something you'll have to walk back to fetch it. Meaning : plan in advance, you won't have to go back.
  21. I Find SMP good for non airliner business, but when you are up in the sky, I prefer to have clouds as far as possible (if the weather dictates it) and not only a little square around me…
  22. it makes the tiller act as in reality, but the yaw still have 100% control over nose wheel, I guess the only solution would be a setting in the plane when you have separate YAW/Tiller axes configured…
  23. On my system the stutter came with World Traffic... Try to disable it if you have it...
  24. there is a fix : The link is on this post in JAR Forum, I installed it and IXEG works fine now (at least on the ground, I have the missing sounds including GPWS tests sounds) http://jardesign.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1940 you have to login to access it, but it works and be carefull to follow installation instructions (keep your registration Key file).
  25. Yep but in my case I don't have ground Handling deluxe, I have the version included with the JARDesign A330 the one that doesn't work with other planes. So, to those who are in the same case as me, check your plugins folder if you have the JAR A330, you have also Ground Handling.
