  1. Your Gizmo Log shows that you have some files missing... [your Saab folder]/resources/PLII/files/PLII_WDGT.txt [your Saab folder]/resources/files/S340Adate.txt Please check to see if these files are in the appropriate directories.
  2. Glad to hear it wasn't the aircraft
  3. I would suggest you uninstall and reinstall the Saab and then get back to us.
  4. The problem is that we have thousands of customers using the Saab and only on a few rare occasions have we had a conflict. In most of those cases it turned out to be a third party plugin, not the Saab. Your log.txt file only shows that X-Plane crashed and is not blaming any specific cause, which makes diagnosing the problem more difficult. No, that wouldn't. Those files are being reported as missing as the result of a bug in the sound engine. The files should be there. This bug has been fixed and will be part of the upcoming update(s).
  5. Scott, Since you have several plugins, I would suggest that you remove them all from your X-Plane installation (except Gizmo) and then try loading the Saab. If everything runs OK you can start adding the plugins back in one-by-one to see which one (if any) may be causing the problem.
  6. Sorry Tim, I do not have an exact date at this time. It should be fairly soon though.
  7. JPS, Austin has been making a lot of flight model changes/fixes/adjustments in XP11. One of the known issues is "starter torque", which I think is causing your problem. I just thought you may be interested in knowing this. As Goran has stated it does not make any sense to "fix" these things until Laminar has finalized the changes and XP11 is out of public beta.
  8. The errors listed in the log file are a bug in the sound engine code, so that is not a problem. Are you saying that the toggle.wav file IS in the "C:/Users/Rusny/Desktop/X-Plane 10/Aircraft/X-Aviation/Saab 340A/Passenger Variant/resources/sounds/systems" directory? The reason I asked you to check that file is that it is listed in the log errors twice, which is definitely odd. If you do have that .wav file I am at a loss as to why you are not hearing the switch sound. Have you tried to uninstall and re-install the entire Saab?
  9. Rusny, Please verify that this sound file is installed... C:/Users/Rusny/Desktop/X-Plane 10/Aircraft/X-Aviation/Saab 340A/Passenger Variant/sounds/toggle.wav Also, the engine sounds DO NOT work in replay and never have. This is a known issue related to the X-Plane replay system. We may have an update/fix for this in future versions.
  10. This is a known bug, which you can find discussions about in these forums by using the search feature. The bug has been fixed and will be a part of the next update.
  11. We do not have a release date yet.
  12. Rusny, You have many custom scenery files that are also using plugins, which you did not remove. As a test, it may be easier for you to download the free X-Plane demo, install it, install the Saab in the demo, and then see what happens. This will provide a "clean slate" with no interference from something that is not "stock".
  13. You have a LOT of plugins and one of them is likely the reason you are not hearing sounds. What we normally recommend is to remove all the plugins from the plugins folder and then put them back one-by-one and test to see which one may be interfering. My guess is JAR design.
  14. I just ran a test and the marker annunciators and sound are working fine.
  15. Please attach your Log.txt and GizmoLog.txt files.
  16. Tim, The update/upgrade path is as follows: 1. The Saab v1.3 is the current production version available in the store, 1. There will be a v1.4 update for XP10 (only), which will include most of the bug fixes and some enhancements discussed in these forums. 2. There will be a v1.5 update for XP11 (only) which will be the same as v1.4 and simply allow the aircraft to load and run in XP11. This will NOT include new textures to take advantage of the new XP11 lighting. In addition, Austin has made some significant changes to the flight model (especially turboprops) and we will NOT be adjusting for those changes with this version of the Saab. So, although the aircraft will load and run without crashes, the engine and flight performance may not be exactly as it was in XP10. 3. There will be a v2.0 for XP11 (only). This will, in essence, be a whole new aircraft. It will include all new 3D modeling, texturing, and coding. We will be adding additional system modeling and other new features. I hope this provides a clear understanding of the upgrade path.
  17. We already have the TQ Viewer, although many probably feel it is an immersion killer. However, we are open to all ideas and suggestions as we further develop a solution for this.
  18. Correct, that won't work. The problem here is that user hardware does not typically have (user defined) detents and you have no "feedback" to determine what position the lever is in. Currently, the Saab throttle levers use the entire range of the throttle axis to go from full reverse to full throttle and this cannot be split up or modified with keystroked or buttons. I will make note of this "feature" request and do some research on what we can do to better accommodate user hardware. No promises at this point. In addition, this type of feature would only be implemented as something "new" for the Saab v2.0.
  19. This is a known bug, has been fixed, and will be in update 1.4.
  20. No, v2.0 of the Saab will NOT be compatible with XPv10.
  21. If you search the forums here you will find a discussion of this issue. The alt selector has been modified and will be included in the next update. In the meantime open another aircraft and reduce the AP selected altitude and all will be well with the Saab when you load it the next time , just DO NOT set the alt to 32k until you get the new update.
  22. The errors in the log files regarding sound are due to a bug in the sound engine and WILL NOT cause any problems. This has been fixed for the next update.
  23. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/18878-x-reloaded-linmacwin3264/
  24. We will be releasing the update with "changes" to the hydraulic/steering logic. If this issue is still a problem please report back so we can discuss the exact parameters with you.
