  1. Looking good, Derek. Glad you're having fun and improving your product some more!
  2. Hi, there, You can add a boundary via WED, which is located here: http://scenery.x-plane.com/tools.php
  3. He's got plenty of works available and to come to prove otherwise. Your statement holds little ground. Javier does great work, and his pride rides in his own knowledge that he does good work. A hump on a default 747 is the least of his worries.
  4. This is an aircraft included to you as value added in the sim, and leaps ahead of what is offered with the current default 747 in version 9. If you're not happy with it, you can surely create one yourself or wait for a proper payware quality model to come about with all the bells and whistles for your critiquing desire. The objective of default aircraft is to please the MASS audience, and I can assure you that the model shown will without a doubt please the majority vote. Those that critique like yourself (even MYSELF) are in the minority. The timeline currently set by Laminar to do things within a certain amount of days vs. how much work there IS to do on the table does not make going back to these aircraft and correcting every small detail for a default aircraft viable.
  5. Congrats, Jacoba! You'll find the atmosphere full of good people, and hopefully an easy commute to work (though that seems to be getting harder and harder these days!). Any idea of where you'll be based and if you plan to re-locate? Reserve can be tough when you're a commuting employee, and I'm willing to bet that's where most of the horror stories come from! Good luck with your training!
  6. Nvidia Gforce gx285 Intel Q6600 Windows xp sp3 4 gb ram
  7. This means you have somehow re-mapped your right arrow key to do a pan right instead of what X-Plane does by default. It sounds like you have re-mapped your right arrow key to do the equivalent of what happens when you press the 'E' key in 2D mode. Is this correct?
  8. Again, the left screen is NOT where the tutorial is trying to tell you to do anything. The right screen is considered the MFD. X-Plane is mapped to already make the right arrow key pan right. If it doesn't, I'm really not sure what to say on this one. It's a default setting. On the right (MFD) screen is where you'll find the FPL key in question, and from there you can follow the remaining steps.
  9. You're in the wrong screen. Hit the right arrow key when in 2D panel view, and you'll see what you need to be pressing when it shifts the view over.
  10. Hey, all. Doing some flying over Reno/Carson City to make sure all is prepared for upload to X-Aviation before it gets released. This is one awesome scenery pack!
  11. Agree with the above sentiments. Right on, kesomir!
  12. Not much else to say. Just having some fun doing a few circuits between airports!
  13. Go into X-Plane, go to tower view and zoom in on the aircraft, watch a replay of a landing and see the same effect take place...on ANY aircraft.
  14. It works fine on every other system so far, including my own. There is only one out there since first day of distribution. Yours is the same as everyone else. You'll get a reply shortly.
  15. 3D panel only, posed as 2D. Sorry, Kaphias. 2D panels are steadily going the way of the dodo bird.
  16. Hi, Garrett, You interpreted everything correctly.
  17. There's no way to install it manually, so it's safe to assume every buyer has installed it from the installer. Kiwi, Please swing on over to X-Aviation's tech support line here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php We'll work through troubleshooting your issue. Be sure to include your order # and details!
  18. I know some get anxious to see more info about the CRJ, and this one isn't big news, but if you want to catch a glimpse of the CRJ in action in a new vid, you can see it several times here:
  19. Yes, the 747 will be an X-Plane 10 default aircraft.
  20. Steve, No, the problem was not related to yours in any form. The issue here was a third party program (FileVault) mounting a drive, and confusing the X-Plane plug-in path as X-Plane ended up being accessible via two path routes. This was fixed with a symbolic link (sh-3.2# ln -s). If you are unable to view the popup window for activation, my assumption is you have not installed the libCURL framework on BOTH of your Macs that comes with the Gizmo install given you are using the external HD.
  21. For those interested, this issue has been solved. It was related to wrong paths.
  22. The Stinson was made by Max. He also did the default Cessna 172. His only payware aircraft is the Tecnam P92, which is available here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=32
  23. Paul, How are you installing the scenery? It should be going into the custom scenery folder. I have not personally tried that stuff, but my assumption is that it's .env file based and may cause an issue, but I could have sworn version 9 still, in some way, could read env files.
