  1. Hi, Apologies for any trouble you have experienced. Please submit a new ticket to X-Aviation and we'll go into further detail with you: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php
  2. When things are free we take what is offered and not push more than is necessary. None of what they have offered up for free is small task. Let's be thankful it's there and enjoy what's given.
  3. Even the Power PC is rippin'! Looks like fun, Theo!
  4. No, but you've received a response, therefore you have an already open support ticket that you can respond to as normal with an email attachment.
  5. Florian, The X-Aviation contact support form is your friend. I promise!

  7. Looking good, Ola! Glad to see you're having fun! Cheers to post # 1,000 for me. I'll decide if that's good or bad later.
  8. It is for convenience and to help with the unzipping of the 7z format to ensure your product gets installed correctly. There are no files installed outside of the XP folder.
  9. Hello all! RealScenery Enhanced: Island of Oahu shown in the Work In Progress section of this forum has been released and can be purchased here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=67 The Work In Progress section for Oahu has been changed to a read-only forum, and all new topics regarding the scenery should be posted in the support section here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?board=22.0 Enjoy this incredible new scenery!
  10. Release dates/times are harder to peg these days than in past time. With the introduction of custom systems/plugins becoming the norm there are plenty of things to bottleneck stuff with debugging. The Saab is an awesome aircraft. I have worked countless nights programming this thing, and I KNOW I speak for Goran and Theo when I say we can't wait to get this thing off our plate as a developing product and instead released as a publicly available one. We're very close!
  11. Nicola, I'll be happy to host them for you. Shoot me a PM and I'll get you setup with an FTP.
  12. Yes, there are.
  13. You're a prime example of why we are considering no longer sharing info or previews of products in the works in the future. Lis' reply summed it up well.
  14. Language barriers. They exist. We work through them.
  15. It simulates an inverted fuel system as one would expect a real aircraft to do if equipped with it, however, the Mentor is not equipped with it in real life.
  16. Always one, right? Thanks.
  17. Hello, all, There seems to be some discrepancy as to whether this was formally released or not, so here's the announcement. This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.1 update for the Beechcraft Mentor. All customers who have purchased the Mentor up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete installation instructions on how to update your product. Please follow these instructions carefully! For those that purchase the Mentor from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.1 for you. There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: JRollon 1.1 version: 1. Rain now appears or disappears dependent on weather. The button to make the rain effect hide is still present for your use. 2. Landing lights auto switch off when landing gear doors are closing. You won't be able to switch them on when landing gear are retracted. 3. Real Gmeter done. It records your maximun and minimun gs. You can reset them with new button added on the gauge. 4. Added steering to the front landing gear. All users without differential brakes will be able to steer the plane without key assignments. 5. Radios can now be tuned normally thanks to programming added. Lukasz 1.1 version. This plane also includes the jrollon modifications. 1. Modification on Speed and GLoad limits 2. Better engine general performance 3. Modified propeller data and shape 4. Very close to real engine and propeller inertia 5. Added torque limiter as in real plane 6. Added inverted fuel system as in real plane (the real plane does not have this) 7. Added beta range 8. Changed propeller condition lever behaviour a little 9. Highly accurate specific fuel consumption 10. Idle fuel flow and torque almost as in reality 11. Reduced exhaust gases visibility 12. Complete rebuild of electrical systems to reflect the real Mentor as much as possible within default X-Plane modeling 13. Tuned various engine and systems related limits 14. Rebuilt wings: added incidence, geometry twist 15. Complete overhaul of airfoils for main wings, with the help of real world aerodynamic data 16. Removed tail vertical fins (it's impossible to properly replicate them and they have marginal impact anyway) on internal model 17. Fuselage drag coefficient 18. Control geometry 19. Complete rebuild of flaps with the help of real world aerodynamic data (they don't go by dent points) 20. Control phase-out 21. Trim adjustments 22. Gear produces more drag when lowered 23. Added custom inertia (radii of gyration) 24. Changed weight and balance 25. Added automatic cowl flaps as in real plane 26. Added more grip on wheels, so the plane stays put when full power is applied As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.
  18. This isn't a free for all to post your link status, guys. They'll get there, I'm sure of it. I'm watching people download the Mentor like crazy all day long.
  19. The system sends out in batches for number in which order was received. The batch process prevents any mishandling of e-mails and helps to ensure our customers get the updates in their e-mail.
  20. This is already released. I'm sure you'll get an e-mail soon enough.
  21. Looks close to Tracy, CA. Where is this?
  22. The update will be in your e-mail, just as with all updates through X-Aviation.
  23. Our goals and intentions changed in February. If we were going to do this, we wanted to do it right, and that includes systems modeling with custom autopilot functionality and other "Easter Eggs." When we're ready to announce we'll do just that.
  24. Hi, all, I have just completed coding some core autopilot functionality that is unique to the Saab. We are working very hard to make majority of this aircraft "study" worthy, and as such most mimics the real world AOM for the Saab 340. This has been a long time coming, but it's finally great to see the bits and pieces working as they should in sim. It's definitely cool to be able to cycle through the climb modes on climb out and see the aircraft do the proper thing as it would in real life! We still stick by our internal deadline and maintain that we'll have this product out this month. Once we know we can meet our proposed in-month deadline we'll announce that finalized date for certain. In the meantime: See you in the skies! 8)
