  1. How close is close? Close enough for writing a news in a magazine issued in August? Absolutely!
  2. You will be notified by email. Pretty close now!
  3. There are hacks you can do. Search around the forum and you can find them. X-Plane has a greater roll tendency for this product that you'd find in real life, however, it's either a some or none situation...in other words, you're not going to achieve that 100% realistic selection by parameter change that you're looking for.
  4. You need to contact X-Aviation through the contact form on the website. Activations are not handled in the forums.
  5. Lookin' awesome!
  6. Since these guys have nothing to do for such an update, they certainly aren't wasting their time by working on the Citation.

Leading Edge Simulations Cessna Citation II

Leading Edge Simulations has released two new preview shots of their Cessna Citation II jet aircraft. You can find the images of this spectacular 3D cockpit by viewing the Cessna Citation II thread here at X-Pilot. Beautiful texturing all around!
  8. I can't speak for stability on the others, but it's partly the reason for the hold back at X-Aviation, with needed fixes being implemented for X-Aviation to comfortably release with version 10.3 of X-Plane (Laminar is fixing some stuff). We are very, very close on the XA side to releasing our 64-bit version. Stability and quality are the two most important factors for us.
  9. Yep! Classic case.

  11. Definitely a memory issue, trust me. Older versions of X-Plane used LESS memory to run, so this makes sense.
  12. I assume these have custom objects at them, or around them? Either way, your description is classic of memory exhaustion. Turn down rendering settings, or avoid these airports. We're almost there with 64-bit...hang tight.
  13. The devkit is a highly subpar resolution.

    GLSL error

Re-Run the X-Plane updater and see what happens.
  15. Inside your X-Plane folder you will see a version of X-Plane labelled: X-Plane-32bit Run that, it will solve your issue. We will be releasing 64-bit shortly. Any further questions please utilize the support ticket system here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php
  16. Still workin', nothing changed.

    GLSL error

Driver issue for sure, and sounds like you're on beta drivers at that. Assuming this is an Nvidia card, be sure to use 3.14 drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-win7-winvista-64bit-314.22-whql-driver.html If you're on Linux you should use 3.13. The no_glsl option actually doesn't work in X-Plane any longer.
  18. Plenty of recent posts in here keeping everyone up to date, including the fact that Laminar has been actively involved in fixing bugs in an effort to get this out the door.
  19. It's US Airways buying American, not American buying US Airways. They are merging and keeping the American name, but US Airways management will run the show. One World will be the alliance of choice. All aircraft will be painted in a new paint scheme, and it has not yet been finalized which livery (either an entirely new one, or the new AA one) will become the brand of the new airline.
  20. This thread is full of information: http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/939-the-b737-classic-project/?p=52366
  21. No, not 64-bit, but yes, it's available upon request and is the version just prior to 1.5.2.

    3d mouse view

Be sure that you are in the camera view used with the keystrokes: shift 9 Once there, click the RMB on your mouse and drag around to see if that's working. If not, perhaps there are some corrupted preferences here.
  23. Hi, Marc, Use the contact form at X-Aviation requesting a 1.4.5 version and we'll help to get you sorted to see if that helps.
  24. So assign some buttons to 'q' and 'e' key bindings and you should then be able to use the joystick. All I told you above can be assigned to the joystick. I was giving you keys to have another work around in a lazy way and as examples if you wanted it.
