X-Aviation Releases Take Command! Saab 340A!
Cameron commented on Cameron's X-Plane flight sim news in Aircraft
Hey, Chris, Check out the AutoStart feature if you don't want to learn how to do it yourself! You'll see a quick start tutorial in your manuals folder. That would be here. -
Even this one has got me before! Let us know how you do!
-
There is a paint kit here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/files/file/564-take-command-saab-340a-paint-kit/

That's fine. Just realize the research and time that went into this. We were granted some pretty nice access to get this stuff right. Any photo will have distortion, especially when we talk about angles and scales. That photo you posted of two pilots on the inside makes it look SO much smaller than it really is.

I don't really have too much to say in here other than having had my eyes bleed out over blueprints and CADs, I disagree. In a simulated environment we have FOV differentials depending on a user by user basis, and depending on your settings things can appear more or less skewed when they are not. If you put the Saab over a manufacturer CAD it's almost unfair how accurate it is. Side window slanting is going to vary depending on weight configuration of the aircraft. The model is accurate. Sorry if you're left upset here. We must be doing something right if it comes down to the size of people sitting in a cockpit.

X-Aviation Releases Take Command! Saab 340A!
Cameron posted a X-Plane flight sim news article in Aircraft
Leading Edge Simulations and X-Aviation are happy to announce the release of the long awaited Saab 340A for X-Plane 10! This aircraft features a study level simulation based on the real aircraft, custom programmed from the ground up! You can grab yours today at the Saab 340A product page on X-Aviation! The Saab 340A is entirely simulated based on the real world manuals. All of the systems are entirely custom programmed, including the autopilot, CRT displays (EHSI and EADI), powerplant, hydraulics and more! Our entire simulation has been certified as true-to-life by a test group of five real world Saab 340 pilots. They were amazed at our accurate simulation, and you will be too! -

Hi, All, Here's a quick livery lineup shot of all the liveries included at no additional charge with the Saab 340A! We have also included this shot in our gallery images, but I figured posting here doesn't hurt either. Enjoy!
-
Thanks, Sergio! We appreciate the kind words and enthusiasm!
-
Yes, they are. Ben Supnik to be exact. But you would need a 32-bit plug-in to be able to tell the person "this doesn't work in 32-bit." Can't do that with a 64-bit plug-in. Isn't that the point of the pretty graphics that specify system and X-Plane compatibility on the product page?

Great, thanks for reporting back. Also, for new customers, the original issue has been solved and things are working 100% normal again.
-
Great, thanks! Did you run Livery Manager and fix this?
-
I take it you are on Windows, and selected a 2GB or higher video card...is that assumption correct? I am fixing this now (due to new installer I uploaded). In the meantime, you can fix this yourself by loading up the Livery Manager located in the Aircraft/X-Aviation/Saab 340A folder and selecting United Express for install!
-
My personal favorite livery!
-
Indeed, nice shots! So that everyone knows, that Gizmo watermark is there by error due to a bad component in the install process during testing. We were able to track which of you have this errant file and I have personally already sent you a download link to a very small download which patches this problem and a crucial texture one. Please check your e-mails for this download link if you see the Gizmo watermark in the bottom right! If you for some reason did not get this e-mail, contact me right away via PM here and I will get you sorted! Glad you're enjoying the plane, BWolf7.

I've reset you back to the original amount, so no worries!
-
Probably in same boat as above poster. Actual zip size is over 30MB. Please re-download.
-
You likely started to download it while we were uploading it, hence it was incomplete. Please use your last download and I'll happily reset that for you.
-
Hi, Guys, This is now back online. You may have started just a few seconds too soon. I would re-download that link just to be sure! Anyways, everyone should be good to go again!
-
Hey, there, This is just momentary. I am making a small update on the server and it will be back in a few minutes!
-
Thanks to all of you for the kind comments! We worked really hard to bring a stellar product at what we feel is an amazing price for all that's there! Please consider helping your peers out with their decision to purchase, as well as helping us with your support by writing a mini personal review about this product: https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_reviews_write.php?products_id=100 Thanks again!

AVG is being overly protective, likely due to the livery management program.

Thanks for the comments. A lot of programming went into all of that. We also upped the deployment system with ultra fast servers around the world to serve the files from the closest one to you. We've tested this extensively for weeks now and haven't heard of that one, but we'll keep an eye out. May well be an issue on your end.
