  1. See reply in other thread.
  2. Jim, Go into your X-Plane/X-Aviation folder and delete the DC3 uninstaller.
  3. ...But you're not. 1.2 is not current.
  4. If you're getting that error you're definitely not up to date.
  5. Hi, Laura, Yes, you can re-load them at a later time so long as you save them and call them up by routing. This is also covered in the manual!
  6. Great! Not a problem.
  7. Yes, they work in HDR. Make sure they are actually marked as "ON" in the preferences checkbox, as well as with the slider turned up. Uninstalling was the proper way to go, and it's okay to keep those sky colors as is.
  8. Hi, As the manual states, importing of standard .fms plans is not possible with this aircraft.
  9. Please re-run the DC-3 installer. I have re-uploaded some core files, and the installer should auto-download these to get you back up to date.
  10. I believe I have found the issue for this. Please re-run the DC-3 installer. This will force it to re-download latest components, and update what I believe to be the missing module.
  11. Too much risk involved because you wouldn't buy it.
  12. Makes sense. No METAR to load.
  13. This is definitely not going to be chief among their priorities. By now they already know what's slated for X-Plane 10.3, it's already been put on delay, and anything else is entirely secondary to that. We're talking about a system that has been in place since X-Plane 5. I'm not sure they really see this as their problem. The answer will be in a weather injector. Not sure who, what, where, or when it will happen.
  14. Glad to hear we could make it better for you! Enjoy!
  15. Sounds like you're happy now.
  16. Thanks for the compliments, Kris!
  17. This makes me think that X-Plane is deciding to load new METAR data at this point. This is with real weather on?
  18. Awesome!
  19. I had a hunch, and my hunch was right. A little known fact about X-Plane....Water settings of 'Complete' and 'Advanced' are very expensive with little to no gains. Supnik and I have had discussions about this a lot over the years, and it's actually been considered for the chopping block because of how non-beneficial those two modes are, yet so taxing without people realizing it. Can you please try this at 'Default' setting and see what happens? Your workaround is to first install 1.1. No bug reports on 1.0 please!
  20. Thanks, Geof! We're really happy to hear you enjoy it so much! Your compliments are well received and appreciated, so thank you!
  21. This is telling. Can you please post a screenshot of your rendering settings in X-Plane?
  22. I somehow missed this one till now. Thanks for sharing your results...AWESOME!
  23. Get on it! You're missing out!
  24. So happy to hear, and thanks! Glad you're a happy camper!
  25. There was no transparency changed, and no texture files adjusted. Are you running in HDR mode? This is where you would noticed a change, because the tone mapping in HDR was WAY off in version 1.0, which caused the clouds to be much brighter than they should be. This update fixes the issue and where in the callback/buffer of X-Plane the clouds get rendered. Non-HDR and HDR should essentially be uniform now, where as in 1.0 the HDR clouds were vastly (and nastily) different to Non-HDR. Nothing was stripped in order to get our frame rate improvements. The code was only optimized in how it renders in X-Plane, thus we see huge gains as a reward for hard efforts.
