Folks, as stated, Aerosoft supports essentially all formats as far as I can tell. This may ultimately mean you stop subscribing to one and move to the other. Their supported list includes: Aerosoft Airbus A318 / A319 Aerosoft AirbusX Extended/Standard (FSX; Prepar3D) FlightSim Commander (FSX; Prepar3D) FS Navigator (FS2004) aeroSystem 737 Avionics AivlaSoft Electronic Flight Bag (FSX/Prepa3d v2) CaptainSim 757/767 (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) Digital Aviation Piper Cheyenne (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) Eurowings Professional (FS2004) EADT KLN 90B (X-Plane) Eaglesoft Cessna Citation (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) Flight1 ATR 72, BN2-Islander, C182T, Fokker, Mustang, Super 80 Professional (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) FSBuild 2.4 FsXPand - Flyware (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) iFly Boeing 737 (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) Integrated Simavionics (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) JRollon Planes CRJ200 (X-Plane) Level-D 767 (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) Majestic Dash 8 Q400 (FSX/Prepa3d/Prepa3d v2) PMDG alle Produkte (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) Pointsoft PRO-ATC/X Prosim 737 PSS Boeing 777; A330; A340 (FS2004) QualityWings 757 (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) QualityWings Jumbolino (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) Sim-Avionics Flightdeck Avionics TuneVNAV Descent Pro3 vasFMC X-FMC (X-Plane) Wilco/Feelthere 737/777 Airbus, Citation X, Embraer E-Jets v.2, Legacy (FSX; Prepar3D; FS2004) Ideal Flight 10 777 Worldliner Professional/Extended (X-Plane) Boeing 757 Professional (X-Plane) JARDesign A320neo (X-Plane) JeeHellWare FJCC Universal FMC (X-Plane) SSG B748-i Global ATC Simcheck A300 FMC (FSX) EFASS - Electronic Flight Assistant Professional Flight Planner X X-Plane 10 (V 10.00 - 10.xx) GNS430 (X-Plane 10.30) SimLauncherX @mgeiss the format is already a mix of two existing formats. Navigraph still does not work at this time.

So here's where we stand: As mentioned, in previous time we have tested Navigraph data over Aerosoft. The result was Aersoft data rendered more accurate to how one would expect in drawing routes. Aerosoft has been very communicative when approached by anyone. Navigraph has been known to leave developers hanging for months without answering to get a new format up. IXEG has had previous attempts to talk to them, and I distinctly remember having a similar "mini crisis" back when the CRJ was released where they also failed to respond for weeks to months on end. We have to go with where communication is welcome, responded to, and the provided data accurately depicts what should be seen on the displays. You would THINK the data would be identical, but for whatever reason it is not, and I do even remember Philipp of Flight Factor and the CRJ touching up on this very subject at one time. If I have to be completely honest, I think we're going to end up with Aerosoft out the gate. Perhaps we can attempt to look at flexibility down the line, but one thing we don't have is time or patience to wait for a company like Navigraph to not respond to our inquiries and ultimately hold up a release. That's bad news for all. Anyways, thanks for the "votes" here guys. I get where you're coming from. I was a Navigraph guy myself for years.

Have you checked to see if those same products are already supported by Aerosoft? My bet is they are! When the team did early route draw testing Aerosoft seemed to outperform navigraph data in accurate drawing and data location. It's part of the motivation to move that way.
-
Remains to be seen. Somewhere along the line they change formatting and it does not play well with the 737, so for now that answer is no. Aerosoft has been the choice now for a while and that continues to work swell. I'd love to hear opinions on this though!
-
Did you at one time request that you get access to 32-bit as a download?
-
Ben already told you...you're trying to load a 32-bit product in 64-bit. That won't work. You need to re-download the latest version of the CRJ.
-
That is correct!
-
Hi there, The AIRAC will be whatever we are allowed to ship with by Aerosoft NavDataPro (it seems that will be the format of choice). There is no set in stone position on this, so take this as "in development" information at this time.

Please see the answer which was provided to you via e-mail.

2GB of vram is borderline very small these days. I'm not surprised of this in the least! On a 27 inch display, for example, X-Plane will eat that for lunch without much of any modification.
-
It has been tested in 10.11.1 and is working wonderfully.
-
2020...that makes me want to cry just thinking about it.

You can just unsubscribe. And no, each week it doesn't say 39 days. It shows less and less days each time. It's not an ad so much as a reminder. Once it's December 23rd your window of opportunity is over. Case closed.

The view UI simply takes you to the specified area clicked. For instance, clicking FMC zooms you into FMC. There's no "realistic" zoom level for something of that nature. That said, FOV changes greatly based on one's monitor ratio and size. You can customize this in the GUI or via X-Plane rendering settings.

Diego, At some point more time will be dedicated to showing some liveries, including how many. There's quite a number already thanks to Morten, but we'll save that for a later discussion.
-
Hi Diego, The aircraft has three start up options at present which are selectable in a custom window for the product (subject to change however the dev team sees fit): Cold and Dark - Engines and all other systems are off, such as would be the case before the first morning flight.Turn-around - A typical between-flight scenario. Engines are off, the APU is powering the relevant systems. IRS is aligned.Ready to Fly - Engines and all systems are powered and running and IRS is aligned. The aircraft is ready to fly.

As the forum specifies, 737 "Classic". A quick google search reveals: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_737_Classic In particular, a -300.
-
What was the last aircraft you had loaded in your last flight before SMP 3 was installed?
-
It certainly is for anything IXEG related.
-
Rest assured this product will have no issues on a network like PilotEdge.
-
I'll leave this one to Tom or Jan to discuss. That said, I'll come out and say straight up IXEG's implementation of dial and knob turnings with the mouse without scroll are the best I've ever experienced. There is a natural feel to them. What is usually a very cumbersome task is almost too easy with this aircraft (even with a trackball mouse), and as such I've found myself thinking if scroll wheel support was rolled out I would probably NOT use it given IXEG's current solution (and I'm a big fan of scroll wheel).

Wycliffe, I'd venture to say David was talking about one or more of these products you've mentioned. No need to sugarcoat the reality of X-Plane at current. Numerous developers have acknowledged challenging problems in their simulations that are not easy to fix, including CTD issues if you enter something improper in the FMC. I'm not about to point out one or more specific developers, but the selection of airliner sims for X-Plane is slim pickings and we've been due for positive change. IXEG have worked very hard to get where they are today (FIVE years!), so let's take that into consideration and acknowledge their hard efforts to do this proper. It certainly WILL be a first for X-Plane.
-
The methods employed by these guys come from years of experience even outside of flight simulation. By that alone, I'd say practice makes perfect and you'll learn a lot as you go. Keep in mind these forums are really about IXEG products and not so much for providing tips on how to create your own product, so while I wouldn't exactly count it out entirely, I also wouldn't expect the guys to start creating tutorials or sharing techniques (especially in such a crucial time of development). Best of luck on your project though!

Hello Captains, It is with great excitement we announce the opening of the IXEG discussion forums. You'll note multiple sections here. The first is where you've now ended up, which is General Discussion topics about IXEG as a whole and any future products, or questions you may have to ask to the team. The second is an official Work In Progress section where multiple topics will be created by the team to show you progress of add-ons (at this time the 737 Classic). I have the privilege to show you a few exclusive 737 Classic screenshots on a beta test flight I did between KSFO and KLAX. Before I get on to these, however, you should check out the brand new video showcasing the 737 Classic's FMC route editing features. Now, enjoy the screenshots! NOTE: Click images to see larger!
