Folks, This product will be priced fairly and proportionately based on five years work and a team of people getting their compensation. We will not debate this here. The price is not announced, and no one will be holding a gun to your head to purchase it after the fact. The best thing you can do is vote with your wallet, and you'll surely be offered such an opportunity in a short time. If the price ends up being out of your range of acceptability then we all accept that and kindly ask you to appreciate our side too. Likewise, if the price is cheap enough for you to justify years of enjoyment (whatever that price may be) then we welcome you! That's all for this topic. There's no need to let it spiral over something not even released.

Hello Captains!, Today we're excited to announce what's coming forward for SkyMaxx Pro v3.1. This will be a free update for all current SkyMaxx Pro v3 owners! We anticipate release for this to be sometime within the next 2-3 weeks. At this time we are in the 12th beta with our internal group of testers. With this free update you can look forward to the following: - Landing lights now illuminate clouds as you fly through them! - Performance enhancements to reduce "stutters" when new cloud conditions are loaded - Many overall performance enhancements - More variation in cloud shapes - More accurate cloud altitudes - Visual improvements to solid and broken stratiform clouds - Numerical setting values now displayed in the config screen - New ability to save and load named configuration sets - More tuning of cloud lighting, visibility, and shadow effects - Ready for the upcoming Real Weather Connector product Hope you like what's coming your way!

PMDG has had the DC6 listed that way for months.

Answered many times. It's an option.

No one promised you anything. If anyone got promises it was the significant others to individuals on the team and their families for taking time away over five years to dedicate to this project. The developers are in debt for this project. No one else!
-
I would caution you right now. There's no way I, nor one of the team members would have used this word. Ever.
-
Was the word "imminent" actually ever used or is that something you're writing up for your own TV show?

Work continues.

Whether the memory check is there or not would not make a difference to what you're describing. More than anything it just sounds like you have too much going on...too high of settings in SMP, or loads of scenery. Bottom line, contrary to what you believe, the Memory Check is not significant at all.

Let's not start an endless FAQ about beta testing, please.
-
We are still testing.

It's nothing but a report of what your current GPU and system RAM are reporting as available to the sim. There's no performance hit to this. It is there so we (the developers) can see what was going on before you crashed. It does not "cause interruptions of the simulation flow".
-
That log entry basically costs nothing. We have seen reports where XLife seems to be pretty resource intensive and as such the sim crashes with other items installed throwing it over the edge. I would try uninstalling XLife and just see if your crashes disappear after this as a test.

HELP - X-Plane and Macbook Pro Retina 13" 2.7
Cameron replied to lomasca's topic in General Discussion
It would run, but your biggest hurdle is going to be the Intel Iris card. You can hookup an external monitor through a mini displayport or HDMI cable. -
It's a joke, folks.
