This honestly sounds like some kind of a plugin conflict. I'll have a look at your log when I get back to the office in a bit.
-
Yes, of course!

Captains, As is the usual tradition here, we now have our official preview video ready for you to view. As per usual, a special thanks goes to @redpiper1. There's not much to say here, other than we hope you enjoy! She'll be all yours soon.

There's a setting somewhere in Plane Maker for this from what I recall.

Haha...while I get the joke, I should probably clarify... We have been set on this release timeframe internally for quite some time. The 737-300 and NG are actually quite different beasts, and no matter who would've released first I don't think would matter. It certainly wasn't on our radar as a potential "hurt" item. Those guys have done a great job, by the way!

I'm staring at him right now. He ages. A lot. I can see myself in one of them at least. We all certainly do go way back. For those unaware, I started the X-Plane Freeware Project back in December of 1999. Morten came on as on of the first members on the team and has been a nagging ache in my life ever since!

Silverlining/SkyMaxx Pro stops DreamEngine and other plugins to load
Cameron replied to ionfresko's topic in SkyMaxx Pro v4
Which actually sounds as though you have some old versions of SASL causing conflict. I guess you didn't read @sundog's reply above. -
You bet that the server will go down? You're going to lose. Unlike some sites, server load balancing is something we take quite seriously.

This is not true, and we have never officially said such. I'm sure in time it will come (either from us, or someone eager), but definitely not at release.

The manuals are a value of the product. These will be obtained only through purchase, but fair question!

Captains, After six years of development the IXEG 737 Classic has been cleared to land! We're officially announcing Saturday, April 23, 2016 as the release date. Thanks to @froogle for also visiting the office to share his enthusiasm of the product and putting a mix on our traditional way of announcing releases! You're awesome, dude! There's been a lot of discussion over the last few years showcasing what to expect from this product, so we won't go too far into that, but I would like to provide a little bit more information for you... Release time: When we make announcements like this we make every attempt to get the product out close to midnight time the day of release. This means for some it may be Friday night if you are located in the USA. I cannot provide an exact time, but I would anticipate a release window between 12am-2am EST. Pricing: We will be announcing price (as we always do) once the product page is up and running. More details about the product as a whole will be there too. Liveries: There will be 20 liveries included upon release. They are: Air Berlin Air France Air Italy America West British Airways Condor Delta Retro Iberia IXEG Jet2 Linjeflyg Lufthansa Lufthansa Retro Norwegian SAS Southwest New Transaero United (tulip) US Air Varig We will be including a paint kit at release time. I want to caution people about attempting to make this thread about livery requests. Within a very short period of time I can promise you will see many free liveries out there on the various download libraries, so don't panic if you're initial request is not present in the above list! Manuals: The package will come with quite a bit of documentation, but we don't want this aircraft to be intimidating. Yes, it's definitely a study level simulation, but the included tutorials come in PDF and video form. While there's a lot to learn, we've made it as interactive and fun as possible for you. Reading big FCOMs can get rather boring to a lot of people, so we hope you enjoy this! We also recommend Mike Rays 737 handbook as a compliment to this product. His book is excellent and works quite nicely as a follow along guide for this product! Server load: I have noted a number of folks concerned about whether we can handle the initial demand. At X-Aviation, we have had some rather big releases in recent time and come to know what to expect pretty well with releases like this. The IXEG 737 release will be no different, and the installer will detect your location and balance the server loads appropriately. We anticipate a very smooth (and fast) experience for our customers. A lot of time is invested from our side to ensure you have a good experience with this! More than anything, and on behalf of @tkyler, @Litjan, @Morten, @Nils, @Ben Russell and myself, we want to say thank you for your continued interest, support, and motivation to keep going on this journey. It's been a long time coming, and our excitement is at an all-time high this week. None of this would be possible with you guys, our fans. Now, plan your routes, sit back, and light up those X-Plane skies with the 737 Classic this weekend! We know you guys will do us proud...you always do! Cheers! Cameron Where is all began years ago...

If you have turned off the XSB weather injection interval to 0, then yes, likely so.

The comment I quoted from you was offensive. Quit making inappropriate, non-factual slights and you won't be told to stop being ridiculous. Your CONCERNS are fine. Saying this takes a NASA computer or some card that's stupid expensive to run is not...and it's HIGHLY inaccurate. Me too. Compromises may come with that until you upgrade your hardware a bit more since you're not satisfied at the moment. There ARE happy mediums out there. You as well, sir!

The current issue we face and a possible solution?
Cameron replied to AnonymousUser68's topic in SkyMaxx Pro v4
This is indeed very well written, and I do love the idea. The one issue I see with it is: 1. I can see a difference between the values you've used as an example on the ground. But, with a user preference as you've stated this would be okay for any one person. The bigger issue is: 2. When you increase or decrease cloud draw you cause SkyMaxx Pro to redraw the entire scene. X-Plane actually does the same thing when you adjust cloud % in the rendering settings. I don't think many people would like this, and there's a technical challenge that we may not be able to get around. Do this: go into sim, open your SkyMaxx Pro window, adjust the cloud draw distance and click apply. That's what would happen during this transition phase you're speaking of. The last thing I'll say here is in regards to your lack of confidence statement between 3.1 and 3.1.1. I can respect your position on this, but considering our turnaround to correct the situation best we could VERY quickly I find the statement a little insulting. That's just personal, so whatever. But, the bigger part is the misconception of "a lot of people". I'm not allowed to talk about sales numbers here, but what you see on forums is not even 1% of what we see in emails or even representative of buyers. I'll say this much: RWC outsold our biggest release ever by a pretty good margin. Forums are naturally full of more complainers than positive vibe people because it's a place to be vocal. It is in no way representative of what's really going on! Not even close, actually. That said, we are definitely listening even to that small bunch which are "complaining". We want everyone to enjoy our products, so at least making the effort is worthy, even if ultimately not possible. When you start dealing with thousands of customers using a product you sometimes have to accept (for your own sanity) that you can't please everyone. You can only try! -
I have the same card. Over 2GB free with the IXEG 737 and RWC in use. Setting above 10,000 on the distance for clouds. There are tons of settings in X-Plane. Using them to your advantage is helpful!
-
All that is is a routine memory check. There's nothing there to signify SkyMaxx Pro has crashed. If SkyMaxx Pro really did crash you would see it listed in the log as such.
-
Eric, Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and apologies for the tardiness! I've taken care of this request for you.
-
Thanks for commenting, Dale! Considering adding your review of the product (can even copy and paste above) right here!
-
The same.

METAR.rwx comes from X-Plane itself. The last log entry you have shown is when new scenery boundaries are loaded.
-
Did you ever read the article from the XP devs that basically stated if you are getting more than 25fps in X-Plane you're basically not using your computer to its potential? I'd re-evaluate your desire to want such high fps, Kerry.
-
I believe FSGRW has the ability to re-load weather every few minutes, or once. The selection is user choice. Real Weather Connector scans files for updated METARS every 30 seconds. You're probably seeing FSGRW's constant injection playing games here.

What's your point? I have a GTX 980ti. I didn't buy it thinking my FPS in X-Plane would stay at 100fps if I moved X-Plane's resolution settings to max; with or without SMP/RWC...would you? There's consequences to every action; in every game. Ever seen the crazy FPS hit when you move the cloud slider for default clouds? Trust me, I can uninstall SkyMaxx Pro and RWC and bring my FPS in X-Plane down to a crawl with NO third party items even on my card if I wanted to. This is called future proofing hardware. Sometimes this "argument" cracks me up. I hear about the stuff people at Laminar have to go through dealing with customers expecting crazy performance with the latest and greatest. Simply unrealistic! What you CAN do is find a happy medium and be more than satisfied with the results, especially with the high end cards! Start understanding your hardware and not having unrealistic expectations and you'll live a far happier life.
