  1. @TallTanBarbie You appear to be using the SkyMaxx Pro v4 style of clouds in v5, which has its limitations. One of those limitations is the fact they are texture based clouds. The opacity in them will not change. For most of what you seek, you'd need to use volumetric option, but given your rather large use of 4K displays I don't think it's an option. Shadows are a lost cause to talk about here as already indicated. Nothing can be done.
  2. @TallTanBarbie You should probably post images with these descriptions. I don't think there will be any workaround for the cloud shadow issues. It's a multi display problem. P3D is entirely irrelevant.
  3. @N3752W Ultrawide is great for X-Plane. 34'' is what I've been using and really enjoy the more feel of immersion it can provide.
  4. This is not in any way descriptive at all.
  5. Doesn't sound like you've actually ran the G5 installer after download.
  6. Please attach your log.txt file from your X-Plane folder after running the G5 172SP.
  7. Check in the aircraft plugins folder for the G5 (and don't move the .cfg file from there. Just make your edits from right where it's at).
  8. You have 1.x That documentation fully applies to you. 2.0 has not been released. The documentation tells you in step one where to find the aircraft installer.
  9. This is an incorrect install attempt to another aircraft. https://afmsim.com/g5-integration-guide/
  10. Installing and uninstalling will not work. You need to use the airframe manager menu option on the left of the screen when the TBM is in use to create a new airframe.
  11. De-authorize the latest dated entry in this case. In the future please use the forum search. This has been answered before several times.
  12. Thank you for sharing your concerns.
  13. Hi there, No, there are no plans for this.
  14. Good observation. There will be news posted when there's news to share.
  15. No. As @Coop has stated, the engine model is X-Plane. It is not controlled by any kind of pref files, or custom code. X-Plane internally handles this based on acf file parameters done in Plane Maker.
  16. I think you're mixing up TAS and IAS. True Airspeed does not equal Indicated Airspeed. http://www.csgnetwork.com/tasinfocalc.html
  17. Hi there. These are known issues on AMD cards. Laminar so far hasn't been able to get AMD to resolve this, and it's centered around Vulkan.
  18. You can ignore it. Nothing to be worried about at all.
  19. In the screenshot you provided it appears your condition levers are set to the off position. Do you have hardware that's interfering here and placed all the way back?

  22. There is no discount offered for bundling the two. We did offer a special bundle price for existing G1000 SR22 owners at the beginning of the Entegra launch, but that has since long expired.
