  2. Pete, Download links are immediately available upon successful payment. There are a few methods to obtain the link: 1. On the successful payment page after a transaction, the download link is located at the bottom of the page. This is outlined in text on that very same page! 2. An e-mail is sent out to you. This e-mail contains a link to an invoice, and at the bottom of the invoice is your download link when logged into X-Aviation.com. If you did not receive such an e-mail then your ISP has likely blocked the servers IP address. This is something out of our control. 3. You may login to your account on X-Aviation.com and view your past order history invoices. On the page, click on the magnifying glass icon that corresponds to your CRJ order. You will then be taken to your invoice, where you'll find your CRJ download link at the bottom of the page.
  3. Sure would! Even still, on a dual core you get rather used to that lag pretty quick and it is more than manageable to fly. I was in the same boat!
  4. This would be your CPU running both cores (since you're on a dual core) at 100% likely. As such, it's reaching its maximum and trying to keep up. People with more than two cores will likely never see this issue.
  5. I don't have any info on installer errors just yet, as it installs correctly on all my platforms, but: Gizmo is not the problem. It is perfectly normal that Gizmo search to see if a plane has a license, so please disregard this as a whole if you come across it in your log.txt files!
  6. Hello all! The Take Command! CRJ-200 shown in the Work In Progress section of this forum has been released and can be purchased here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=68 The Work In Progress section for the CRJ-200 has been changed to a read-only forum, and all new topics regarding the scenery should be posted in the support section here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?board=25.0 Enjoy this incredible new aircraft!
  7. This product has now been released! Please see the following topic for more info: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=2093.0
  8. Hi, Rich, With X-Plane being as cheap as $29, I think it would actually be a good choice to get it and get acquainted to the keystrokes. It's a much different paradigm than MSFS, but a GREAT one! We're more than happy to help you with questions, learning the ins and outs, and showing you around the world of X-Plane add-ons. It's also important to not that many sceneries CAN be converted from MSFS with a few simple clicks. Looking forward to seeing you around!
  9. Think it's okay considering the guy is enthusiastic about the 737 project and it seems to be the factor that has made him look into X-Plane. Welcome, bigtallman!
  10. Almost 6am. Seems like I never do at times when I pull these all day/nighters. Please do keep us posted with results!
  11. Normal, as stated by the installer if you already have it installed. Your setup appears more than capable for this aircraft. This is very odd, Simon. Let's start with the basics: 1. Run the CRJ Tester Installer. 2. When installing the C++ package, this time select to remove it. 3. After installation of the tester is finished, restart your computer. 4. Once your computer has booted back up, run the installer again. This time it should proceed with a regular C++ install without asking you to repair or remove. 5. Run the tester. If this fails, please report back here and send your log.txt file in your main X-Plane folder to me in a PM attachment.
  12. How is that so? Don't you have a relatively modern i7 setup, Simon?
  13. About the only time I've truly seen a difference is with panel night lighting.

  15. Better to be safe than sorry! Glad you ran the test, Steven. Thanks for the report!
  16. And so I shall not. Perhaps if you were more privy to the ins and outs of what it takes to do any of this stuff I'd feel more inclined. In all reality, it would be like beating a dead bush. Some things just won't click, and we can definitely agree to disagree. I'll leave it with an acronym in response to your suggestion of sour tastes in a customer's mouth, and the success of a product: PMDG No need! People can make and come up with their own conclusions.
  17. There's nothing hostile in what I said. Choosing your words better would have helped. That said, I feel the topic you request to be read chalks up to your own impatience (with all due respect), and there's really not much to be said about it. They came from Bombardier. Some airlines have a different SOP with added procedures in comparison. For that, I can't say whether "any" will match. They will all certainly have the same basis from Bombardier, and have added info from there.
  18. You were instructing someone to do something. Not acceptable. As Javier has stated, when he announced RC-1, he estimated 1 month or so from that day. This is still on that schedule. You are off base at the moment. Hope and promise are two very different things. Please use the right words.
  19. This is definitely NOT your place to be saying something like that...
  20. Hi, Charles, Running the installer on Linux is something we most certainly need (not for the tester) for the aircraft itself, as there is one thing in the installer for Linux that is necessary and different than that of the Mac and PC. I'll investigate the issues you had. We've had a number of downloads thus far, so I'm assuming most others had the necessary libraries. Best, Cameron
  21. Hi, Charles, Thanks for the update. No, it simply does just that for Linux machines.
