  1. This topic has been moved to General Discussion. [iurl]http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=2054.0[/iurl]
  2. Better to be safe than sorry! Glad you ran the test, Steven. Thanks for the report!
  3. And so I shall not. Perhaps if you were more privy to the ins and outs of what it takes to do any of this stuff I'd feel more inclined. In all reality, it would be like beating a dead bush. Some things just won't click, and we can definitely agree to disagree. I'll leave it with an acronym in response to your suggestion of sour tastes in a customer's mouth, and the success of a product: PMDG No need! People can make and come up with their own conclusions.
  4. There's nothing hostile in what I said. Choosing your words better would have helped. That said, I feel the topic you request to be read chalks up to your own impatience (with all due respect), and there's really not much to be said about it. They came from Bombardier. Some airlines have a different SOP with added procedures in comparison. For that, I can't say whether "any" will match. They will all certainly have the same basis from Bombardier, and have added info from there.
  5. You were instructing someone to do something. Not acceptable. As Javier has stated, when he announced RC-1, he estimated 1 month or so from that day. This is still on that schedule. You are off base at the moment. Hope and promise are two very different things. Please use the right words.
  6. This is definitely NOT your place to be saying something like that...
  7. Hi, Charles, Running the installer on Linux is something we most certainly need (not for the tester) for the aircraft itself, as there is one thing in the installer for Linux that is necessary and different than that of the Mac and PC. I'll investigate the issues you had. We've had a number of downloads thus far, so I'm assuming most others had the necessary libraries. Best, Cameron
  8. Hi, Charles, Thanks for the update. No, it simply does just that for Linux machines.
  9. Hi, Charlie, Are you on a 32-bit or 64-bit machine/os? Cameron
  10. Hi, Henry, As indicated in my post, no, this has little to no bearing on what you can expect performance wise. I'm glad to hear you could see it on the MacBook Air though!
  11. It means we'd like you to test your system.
  12. Hello, all, I have just completed pushing up a new page for a CRJ-200 Hardware Diagnostic. In short, this is a test aircraft with a plug-in that will tell you whether the CRJ will even work on your hardware. Throughout some tests, we have found some older hardware that just doesn't make the cut and will not be able to run the CRJ displays. As such, we have created this tester for you. This does NOT indicate smooth frame rates, or anything of that nature. This test will simply tell you whether your hardware has the ability to even run the CRJ based on your GPU, CPU, and associated drivers! There are testers available for Mac, Windows, and Linux here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/crj_test.php Please follow all instructions as indicated in the installer! Good Luck!
  13. There is plug-in interaction with the displays. They are NOT using vector.
  14. Come one now. We Floridians (even if you're here only for school) should know better.
  15. Not necessarily. It means we need to work out a few small things and if they get fixed today, then so be it, but if they take a little longer...so be it too. Oh the joys of custom programming.
  16. Hi, there...thanks for your compliments. The release will be as soon as we're comfortable with the setup and iron out a few small kinks. Soon.
  17. Items are entered into the scratchpad by pressing the letters/keys on the FMC itself. There's no copy and pasting here. It works just as if you were interacting with a real FMC.
  18. Hey, Ola, Have you ever been to Mo i Rana? Looks beautiful!
  19. Bouncy bounce!
  20. What an understatement! I cannot WAIT for the day I get to relax and go out on the beach again. Days go by faster than ever at this point.
  21. Scott, You have been responded to TWICE now from your contact form methods. Once on the 19th, once on the 26th. We respond to all inquiries, usually within minutes. If you'd like to send in another inquiry utilizing a different e-mail address outside of your .edu one we'd be happy to contact you there. As a rule of good measure, we do not handle customer order details or license matters in the forums for customer privacy reasons. This case is no different.
  22. No, he was not. He's been actively making comments about his take on the manual here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=2027.msg19290#msg19290 ...and here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=2027.msg19081#msg19081 Should tell you quite a bit.
  23. Thanks for the clarification here, Don!
