Photorealistic for the time being. It will be like any other pack we sell in the Enhanced series. We have discussed doing the upgrades to V10 and implement the technology, however, until Laminar finalizes and releases the spec we won't be doing so. Either way, these products still are my favorite to fly in X-Plane 10 over the generic stuff. As much as I love the new lighting effects and objects, atmospheric scattering with HDR looks absolutely stunning with these RealScenery packs!

We will never invalidate licenses just because things are outdated. Activations will continue to work as they always have, nor do we have plans to ever change this. Taking care of customers who pay their hard earned money for these products is part of our job!

We've began processing orders and they are sent out in order received. The replicator is shipping us multiple batches at a time, so I expect we should have our entire backlog or orders shipped out by Thursday or Friday, and then we'll be shipping orders received as they come in with stock on hand. Right now it's a matter of more orders than stock due to pre-order, but that's only for a few days.

Relax. This had nothing to do with sound quality and everything to do with noise reduction and comfort. As someone who has flown many hours with various headsets, I can still attest to this...and I own MANY different brands of pilot headsets.

You need to fully extract the files to a folder anywhere on your computer and THEN run the installer.

X-Plane is a 32-bit application. It cannot use the max ram he has.

Michelpia, The problem is that you are trying to run the installer without extracting it from the zip. The error you have posted shows you are running the installer from IN the zip file while it's still compressed. You'll need to fully extract the package to somewhere on your desktop and THEN run the installer.

It's a much better mobile browsing experience on the iOS devices, Simon. As someone who uses your iPhone a lot, I think you'll greatly appreciate it. The app will sort through your unread posts and place them in a tab, you can view all forums in a nice mobile, native format, and your PM's are still accessible. You can even post and do attachments. It's a MUCH better browsing experience than the one provided by Safari when coming here.

I don't blame you. Fred is phenomenal, really. We are very blessed to have him in the X-Plane community!

Hey, Simon, I've just got off the phone with Supnik after some testing of a new hotpatch we are putting out. Anyhow, as it turns out, these great lighting effects....DO NOT work with HDR on. Ben Supnik is aware of this issue, but does not know when he can get it solved.

It should look similar to this: Note the purple and green tones even with lights off. Displays are casting light.

Multiple people/groups are working on this helo type, actually, which is why I am commenting on it here. Fred is a very talented developer, and while I think competition is great, a party of three or more in such a barren field full of an array of choices seems silly. That said, without a doubt, I'd put my money down on Fred's being among the best in whatever he makes! My point to Valentin in post 16 where I said it's already being made is to let him know that regardless of whether Fred chooses to end up doing it or not, it will get done! He seems to be worried Fred may not take this on in the instance interest is not good enough. Either way, it will get done, so never fear!

You'll have no issues at all with your license for a dual install. As Javier has stated, you'll need to install two times to ensure ALL of the files make it into the right place for each version. Also be sure to select X-Plane 9 or X-Plane 10 when it asks you which version of X-Plane! Very important! Please don't hesitate to get back to us if you have any issues. We're here to help!

Simon, If you're installer didn't ask you which version then: A) You installed version 1.2 Or B ) You downloaded prior to the 1.3 release. I think your best bet is to go download the update again and run the installer. The latest version will definitely ask you for version 9 or 10! And yes...it's "real" lights inside now.

Hmmmm...it could be my phone, but that lighting looks like V9 version, Simon. When you selected the aircraft in X-Plane did the icon show it as version 10? Great video!

You use the 3D Cockpit mode and then use the forward/backward movements to move around. The mouse acts as your head...in X-Plane 9 this was CTRL and O at once to get into 3D mode, and then the page up and page down keys to move back and forth...it's escaping me the new key commands for X-Plane 10. Still learning those as long as I've had the stinkin' beta!

You gotta admit though...Theo is good practice. He'll challenge you any old day.
