  1. No swapping anything here.
  2. Cool! Keep at it! Look forward to flying around what once was!
  3. As this has now been answered to satisfaction, this topic is now closed.
  4. Hi, Steve, Aside from the above message that was sent to all CRJ customers from X-Aviation, you may be interested in the following: 64-bit compatibility from X-Aviation: http://blog.x-aviation.com/2012/11/a-note-on-64-bit/ Ben Supnik's Directive on 64-bit: http://developer.x-plane.com/2012/11/please-do-not-release-64-bit-add-ons/
  5. Hi, Peter, As the e-mail indicated, that is correct and is currently the case. How this will play out down the road I am not entirely sure, but a definitive answer will be soon if not already depending on how forward goings progress. I wish I could be more concrete at the moment, and I do apologize for that. In short, the CRJ has moved to the clang compiler for 64-bit. While 10.6.x is 64-bit compatible as an operating system, it does not have the runtime for the clang compiler, and thus the CRJ as it stands right now will not run on this setup in 64-bit X-Plane.

    X-Aviation: Gizmo and SASL Compatibility

Hi, Max, 64-bit is in the works for Gizmo. Linux still has no finalized announcements. As the MU-2 is moving to Gizmo only, this will phase out Linux unless an update is made to the Gizmo platform that proves it can work. We'll announce any findings as necessary.
  7. The same to you, and you're most welcome!
  8. mraviator has now e-mailed in stating the reversion to 1.4.5 has solved the problem as suggested. This topic is now closed.
  9. Please see step 1 of the CRJ_eng_addendum.pdf located in X-Plane/Aircraft/X-Aviation/CRJ-200/Manual
  10. No internal lighting was changed, Simon.
  11. Most welcome, and glad to have helped! As this has now been resolved, this topic is closed.
  12. Update to this thread: Nano and I have been discussing this over live chat support on X-Aviation.com. Right now this appears to be permissions and paths related after a backup from Time Machine. Working through it...
  13. Can you please upload your log.txt located in your X-Plane folder?
  14. Hi, Keith, Please see answers provided in e-mails. Cheers!
  15. Activation is machine specific, not X-Plane install specific. You will have no problem doing this at all. This said, I strongly discourage copying files from one location to another. The best route for this is to start the DC-3 installer and select your SASL X-Plane install as the place to install the DC-3 to. Once you get in sim it will ask you to activate and fetch your already existing license for that machine.
  16. This does not indicate Gizmo is the problem at all! All it states is that a specific part of Gizmo's features are being disabled because they are not needed. I am 100% sure that the issue is NOT with Gizmo. Win.xpl's are everywhere in an X-Plane install. That 1.4.5 downgrade will be your best bet for now.
  17. We have been receiving some crash reports with the latest version of the CRJ 1.5.2. If this is happening to you, please contact X-Aviation on the contact form. We will be happy to downgrade you back down a revision down to 1.4.5 (very stable) until these CTD fixes are implemented.
  18. 10.2 has posed some momentary stumbling blocks. The code of the MU-2 works very well and there is nothing for Tom to do. He's done. That said, his advanced framework has posed a challenge for our older encryption system to secure his source code, and until this is resolved we will not have a release. Our priorities lie with some issues Laminar has been pressing us about with regards to 10.2, Lua, and 64-bit. We'll keep everyone posted when these issues are resolved. This is not an MU-2 specific issue, but widespread if we were to have other products ready as well. It just so happens that Laminar's timing collided with our own.
  19. That video card is very likely the problem! A 275 is very "small" for X-Plane 10 use, especially driving what you're trying to achieve. One thing you could do...test the CRJ in X-Plane 9 (free demo available on X-Plane.com). If this works for you, then you pretty much know what the problem is.
  20. He quoted it to show how it is currently spelled on the website.
  21. This statement is immature on many levels, Matthew. I'm quite certain you are capable of being better than this.
  22. Come on, man. Why don't you help him out with what's wrong rather than crucify him? I appreciate your enthusiasm to bring things to a better standard in X-Plane, Peter. Nice website design!
  23. Thank you for putting a ton of downtime effort into this. We'll happily look it over!
  24. Don't worry...the livery lineup is long and most liveries you can think of have likely been done.
  25. Yes, there are still some US Air Express floating around and Silver Airways, which code shares with United.
