  1. That's more along the lines of what I was thinking, and is precisely what we just went through here. Hopefully they have similar backup measures in place like we do. It gets tough when servers contains such large amounts of content.
  2. Interesting tools, Carlos. Unfortunately they don't solve this particular problem, but cool to know those exist.
  3. What developer is that?
  4. Keep it on topic. The org is down. Take the rest to PM.
  5. Avsim is there, just REALLY slow. I hope for the sake of the entire community it comes back, and I'm sure it will.
  6. You'd need to create your own mesh with a geotiff and apply a shapefile to the entire area of the DSF being created. Unfortunately, you'll be stuck with a V9 mesh until Laminar updates MeshTool.
  7. I suppose these types of sceneries are then not for you and therefore I don't see the point of your post! Green is green is green where it's supposed to be...green. Everyone has their own preference. We know that, and so does Laminar. A ton of people will prefer this over default, and just the same, some people will prefer default over accurately placed imagery. Can't please everyone, but we can certainly please the majority!
  8. Apparently not enough... http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/forum/16-xp-jets/ http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/topic/549-777-200er/?p=24434
  9. Considering they have active forum members here and have even come out with explanations for time taking I would say a little research on your own will go a long way.
  10. Please see the reply to your email.
  11. You don't know how to contact the company that you have sent tons of emails to over the past month filled with random bits of cuss words strewn within? Odd. I smell mischief.
  12. Two different.
  13. I would guess that the recut will likely run anywhere from $15-20 via DVD only.
  14. 100+ GB on the data front, TB's of bandwidth.
  15. It is not yet time. The stores all ship different libraries and variants of the plug-in. You'll be among the first to know when.
  16. Nice work!
  17. Unfortunately we have no control over X-Plane when in replay mode.
  18. We post them here when we have them. Stay tuned!
  19. Unfortunately the truth. Google imagery cannot be re-distributed.
  20. So where do the ortho images come from? Nice looking with the buildings.
  21. What is 19x zoom? Sounds like from a mapping service?
  22. Incorrect, especially with the new spill lights. If they are not XP10 optimized then only a given number will work, and often times not as many as the aircraft may actually have. This is precisely why the pretty night lights in XP10 as a whole don't work unless HDR is enabled. There is a spill cone effect Dan creates, but this is not what we're talking about anyhow. It should definitely work with HDR (haven't had time to try), but I'd say something is definitely amiss if it's not.
  23. Gotta turn on HDR.
  24. Well, I take back some of my comments here. It's not entirely what was expected. OpenGL is not present, though it's definitely driven by SASL. It's primarily a work of images drawn similar to generic instruments in X-Plane. I can't comment on full functionality (primary commentary comes from a known programmer), but after I have enough time to do so I'll report back.

We're not making anything for FS X, so I don't think your comments hold any validity.
