  1. No add-ons right now. Working on stuff for Laminar instead.

  3. I have the same feelings. I feel like HDR is too high in contrast, but I really love the atmospheric scattering feature at the same time. It's a real shame that non HDR and regular HDR are so much different in appearance!
  4. The lighting is almost exclusively enhanced with HDR on only. This is particularly the case with aircraft taxi lights, landing lights, airport ramp lights, and road lights, as well as car lights and their light cone cast. I would venture to say that as aircraft makers have started to update aircraft to the X-Plane 10 specifications, you are only just now coming to realize that HDR is required for the nice effects we desire. Doesn't hurt to turn it on and see what happens in a night scenario for you...
  5. Maybe I'm being ignorant here, but could you please elaborate? I would think if you have HDR on at night as is intended by X-Plane then no such issues exist?
  6. No, I believe the 480 will still outperform the 630 looking at the two systems you had.
  7. That's pretty limiting...
  8. ...not.
  9. Sure...X-Plane AI is not prejudice over standard X-Plane formats.
  10. How close is close? Close enough for writing a news in a magazine issued in August? Absolutely!
  11. You will be notified by email. Pretty close now!
  12. There are hacks you can do. Search around the forum and you can find them. X-Plane has a greater roll tendency for this product that you'd find in real life, however, it's either a some or none situation...in other words, you're not going to achieve that 100% realistic selection by parameter change that you're looking for.
  13. You need to contact X-Aviation through the contact form on the website. Activations are not handled in the forums.
  14. Lookin' awesome!
  15. Since these guys have nothing to do for such an update, they certainly aren't wasting their time by working on the Citation.

Leading Edge Simulations Cessna Citation II

Leading Edge Simulations has released two new preview shots of their Cessna Citation II jet aircraft. You can find the images of this spectacular 3D cockpit by viewing the Cessna Citation II thread here at X-Pilot. Beautiful texturing all around!
  17. I can't speak for stability on the others, but it's partly the reason for the hold back at X-Aviation, with needed fixes being implemented for X-Aviation to comfortably release with version 10.3 of X-Plane (Laminar is fixing some stuff). We are very, very close on the XA side to releasing our 64-bit version. Stability and quality are the two most important factors for us.
  18. Yep! Classic case.

  20. Definitely a memory issue, trust me. Older versions of X-Plane used LESS memory to run, so this makes sense.
  21. I assume these have custom objects at them, or around them? Either way, your description is classic of memory exhaustion. Turn down rendering settings, or avoid these airports. We're almost there with 64-bit...hang tight.
  22. The devkit is a highly subpar resolution.

    GLSL error

Re-Run the X-Plane updater and see what happens.
  24. Inside your X-Plane folder you will see a version of X-Plane labelled: X-Plane-32bit Run that, it will solve your issue. We will be releasing 64-bit shortly. Any further questions please utilize the support ticket system here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php
  25. Still workin', nothing changed.
