NOTE: This was an April Fool's Joke Hi, All, My apologies for being inconsiderate of the date this was posted. This post is not to be taken as a joke. We appreciate the support throughout!

Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.3 update for the Leading Edge Simulations Beechcraft Duchess. All customers who have purchased the Duchess up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete installation instructions on how to update your product. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the Duchess from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.3 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains the Duchess purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "Beechcraft Duchess". The new installer will detect whether this is a new install, or if you already have any Duchess version installed. Depending on your current situation, the installer will run through the appropriate paths with you! Your liveries/downloaded paints will be safe in this process! There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: - Revised/Corrected flight model for X-Plane 10 NOTE: This update still includes an X-Plane 9 version of the Duchess as well, but for X-Plane 9 nothing has been updated. As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.

NOTE: This was an April Fool's Joke Hi, Folks, It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I announce we have folded up the Saab 340A project. There have been many uphill battles in development with this project, especially in the programming side. While we did get 90% of the way there in our development, that last 10% often times amounts to the biggest hurdles in these kind of products. Leading Edge Simulations' team will be taking a small break away from any kind of development over the next couple weeks. We believe there is a larger market for slightly more simplistic simulations that take less programming and better 3D/eye candy. As such, we will soon announce the next two projects that have already been underway once the guys at Leading Edge Simulations get back from their break. We thank everyone who has been patient throughout the development process of the Saab, and for sticking around for news as long as you have. Your words of encouragement are not missed!

Where did you purchase the CRJ?
-
Good grief. Grow up, guys. We don't need a public venue for a high school cafeteria fight. Figure it out in private. Howard, you've been involved in a ton of kiddie stuff for quite a while. Fix it and quit it.
-
No need for confusion. Not yet released.
-
Not sure what PDF software you're using, but it doesn't sound to be coping appropriately. Adobe's own free Reader is usually a good choice. Quoting the manual: "We have added a click-spot over the cabin air blower area. This click-spot will show or hide the yokes."
-
To be clear, would you rather a jet or turboprop? FMS, or not?
-
That would hold true if we didn't have other people with source code. That being said, Ben's job is designated to him, and a week or so "off" is not going to kill production.
-
Great shots, Markus! Looks like a top model.

The actual product is the same in functionality. The plug-in is different between stores for things like how activations are done. Support and whether it's better is very subjective and up to you. As I work only for X-Aviation and we do not profit share with Aerosoft, so giving support to customers who we do not get paid to give support to is basic business, along with the fact the plugins are slightly different in how they are shipped. You may freely use other parts of these forums. Commercial vendor sections are for X-Aviation customers support wise. Thanks, Fabrice, But this section of the forum is for X-Aviation customers only. Please consult with Aerosoft should you need to. This topic is really quite old (over 2 months) since its last post.

Hi! This has not yet been finalized and released but will be soon!

Hi, Please consult the already existing topics on this matter.
-
That's correct. From a feature standpoint, as has been previously communicated here and elsewhere, the CRJ development is essentially complete. Of course, compatibility updates and bugs will continue to be supported and distributed.
-
Exhaustive is more like it.

Hydraulic Pressure Warning Light, Stuck On.
Cameron replied to Chuckfops's topic in ATG Javelin Support
Untrue. Anything that may be seen elsewhere would be fixed, and items do adjust over time. This is the first time I am even hearing about this...that's how incorrect you are to assume I have known about this for "2 years". The track record we have, as well as the products this very same developer produces show his dedication to the community, and that your assertions do not align with fact. You are definitely jumping the gun. I'll redirect you to the olive branch already extended to you in post 13, and the fact that Javier has already stated his commitment to this subject in post 9. This will conclude this topic. We'll be absolutely happy to assist you in the already ongoing dialog via e-mail, Chuck. Otherwise, this topic can do without the food fight. -
Hydraulic Pressure Warning Light, Stuck On.
Cameron replied to Chuckfops's topic in ATG Javelin Support
Chuck, Aubrey's explanation does not apply here. This would be valid in a modified aircraft that does not utilize default systems entirely, and instead relies on datarefs for objects to show what systems may fail. In the instance of the Javelin, it relies 100% on X-Plane's systems calculations without the use of any datarefs in the cockpit, and as such the explanation in full does not apply to the Javelin. For his aircraft it did, as it was built differently. Theoretically, since we have no control of the systems, these items are all controlled by the sim itself. This is why updating traditionally does not need to be done. Re: Airfoils... I apologize for this. This was a small oversight, and while you're making a huge deal about it, I would have been happy to assist you there and correct the version on the server to no longer need this conversion (we did this for all aircraft a while ago, but a database change was not made on the Javelin by mistake). It's obviously not been a big enough issue from others to comment on, and as our testing has already had these converted it was an easy miss, though unfortunate. You know by now that converting those airfoils takes a mere less than one minute to fix, and had you had problems figuring that out, again, we would have either assisted you in learning to do so or corrected the issue ourselves and provided you a new download. Your issue now primarily revolves around a light that has zero significance to flight. It affects nothing, the aircraft flies, other than it being displayed. If it bothers you so much we can provide you a version with the light dismissed entirely until Laminar (the creator of the systems) and Javier work on a fix free of charge. -

We do not ignore e-mails at X-Aviation in any form or fashion. In fact, we are primarily known for fast after sales support. You are no exception to this rule, and while you try to assert otherwise, you have in fact as shown by our system been replied to within minutes to a few hours of writing in. We do not delete any support tickets or e-mails as a means to assess peoples claims such as this. Please be sure to check your spam box or clear record of our e-mail for inbound delivery. I personally have again replied earlier today. As to everything else in this post, I will revert people to the following post. As you have conversations going in multiple venues, here, X-Aviation, X-Aviation Reviews, and e-mail, this topic will be closed to streamline replies. There's no need to go fantastically crazy in a ton of locations all associated to the same place. It's counterproductive. That said, your review here will remain, as we don't wish to censor that. -
Hydraulic Pressure Warning Light, Stuck On.
Cameron replied to Chuckfops's topic in ATG Javelin Support
You misunderstood. The Javelin has no plug-ins. All systems are 100% controlled by Laminar/X-Plane itself. This was also explained to you in an e-mail. As Javier is also a part of the Laminar team I am sure he too will dig a bit deeper into this and get with the creators to find a solution on the light itself. Other than this, I can not find other affected areas of flight. I personally just test flew this aircraft between two points in X-Plane 10.2 without a hitch, both during takeoff and landing. Stopping was easily had with the assistance of breaks. As Javier has already explained to you in an e-mail, please also be sure to double check that your flight model per second setting in X-Plane is at 2 or higher. -
I knew something smelt "fake" about this guy named "Stent" and his writing style. He used to famously go by the name of "Fake Austin" as so many of you will remember. Cross referencing his information here with the old username he had produces a 100% match (same IPs). As FakeAustin was previously banned here, so too is Stent as of this moment. Furthermore, there is a strong resemblance in writing to past forum member Wetted Area, whom was banned here as well after going rather "nuts" on numerous individuals. As if that that's not coincidental enough, Wetted Area and FakeAustin/Stent have IP locations within miles of one another. Perhaps a work vs home situation, with FakeAustin and Stent being utilized at home. In any case, Stent is now banned.

I suppose we should add the same info here as we did on FaceBook... The short is: We've gone through multiple re-do's of NORCAL over the last couple of years. Ultimately this makes the product better and ensures longevity after you purchase it. That said, that has not been the only stumbling block! We also re-wrote our entire back-end system, our entire cross platform downloading software/installer (which grabs the files from cloud servers after purchase and installs them automatically for you), added Linux, and optimized our automation scripts. Now we've been showing off these daily teasers with the hopes of showing our completeness of the product. Unfortunately, when 64-bit came out it actually broke the scenery by way of scenery tile alignments and we have been working with Ben Supnik on a fix. As we rely on some tools produced by Laminar to get this done, we are now in a holding pattern while Ben Supnik re-writes some buggy code in MeshTool to correct the issues we have found in 64-bit. The downside to this is it takes time, and uncontrollable time at that. The upside is you weren't able to purchase this product only to have to re-download gigabytes of data in a patch all over again.

Oh, brother. The kids are out. I'm not covering anyone's ass, including my own. It wasn't me you were questioning integrity about in the first place. Sounds credible.
