Out of memory and fps are not the same thing. None of the reports you have shown indicate anything similar to what you claim to have. I see a bunch of opinions for ones taste, but no wide range reports of slide shows like you claim.

So my first question is: Why are you re-installing in the first place? As for the error message: That is a very awkward error. To me it sounds like you have either selected an invalid X-Plane directory (resources/files ? ) or you are running the installer from its own zip file, which is a no-no. I've never seen this error before. As for getting the UA Express livery: Just run the livery manager.

Valentin, Kris is giving you some words of wisdom and you're becoming very defensive over it. He's not even being rude, but he is trying to let you know that your way of discussing this matter with people here is a lot of self-centered-like behavior. Anyways, Ben is right. This is a perfect use for something fun and quick in Gizmo. Because of this thread I just went and challenged myself to a have a little fun and wrote a little program that will automatically enable Sandy's Pilot View whenever in the cockpit, even if you come from exterior back to interior. It was also a good excuse to get my TrackIR off the shelf. All in all this took about 30 minutes to write after going through Sandy's docs, using dataref editor, writing, and testing. I bet you could have a lot of fun and enjoy the feeling of being rewarded visually with something that works if you just put your mind to it. Gizmo has freely available docs to accomplish what you need as well, so there's really no excuse unless you just don't want it that bad.

Tsetosh is right on point here, and I appreciate that he was able to answer from a different customer point of view. If we're going to be really honest here, sparkie66, PMDG too has had their fair share of delay, most recently being the week long debacle for the 777. If memory serves me right for the Saab release, we were pretty much about the same. Unexpected things happen, especially when it comes to programming. More than anything, I think a lot more goes on than meets the eye that a lot of customers do not realize when it comes to getting a product online for distribution (even after the product is complete). Over the years we have done various types of rollouts. I personally prefer those that don't specify dates, but I know customers in general have shared their frustration over being kept in the dark. This is one of those scenarios where it's "damned if you do, and damned if you don't". We either take the heat for being silent, or we take the heat for being talkative, but even still I am trying to find a balance. As has been seen lately, one of those ideas is to share informative dialogue with our customers not many days before something is to happen. It's still a best guess scenario, but the premise definitely is to let customers know we care and that we haven't gone on vacation to leave things in the state they are currently in. If there's anything we truly do care about it's our customers and making sure we can do as much as we plausibly can to please them. Rest assured, this update will get out and your patience in the process is very much appreciated. We're just busy making it a little better than it already is.

The system definitely has the appropriate callouts, but altitude is not in the A variant. As for altering gear sounds, again, all of this is controlled via our sound engine and is as you would find in the real aircraft. Coding it so that the sound is unrealistically louder or more audible is not something we're after, and since the source code is closed there's nothing you can alter here either. I realize you're confident in your editing skills. This still does not take away from the fact that you are attempting to edit or manipulate files for which you have agreed not to do when installing this product. The goal here is realism. We've essentially achieved that and we're not looking to undo it. The clack sound has to do with the actual handle and not the gear or doors themselves. Perhaps in time we can consider isolating this sound, but for the moment it's pretty much there, just not as loud as you'd like that handle click to be. Hi, flydav!, You're not hearing them loudly or at all because they really aren't heard in the real deal (this was actually something I kept a close ear on in research). The hydraulic pump will sound, and the drop of the doors is really quite silent (with the exception of a slight wind-like noise, which is also modeled)! We have them in there and programmed, but 100% volume is only 100% of what we have dictated as necessary given our research. Please know that adjusting any files goes strictly against your user license. I've done countless real world flights on the Saab (including during research) and have quite a bit of time both in the cockpit and as a passenger in the EMB-120. The same rule applies there. Just in June I took two Saab flights by choice for research from central Florida to the Keys and recorded the entire trip in very high quality sound. We have studied this thing probably more than sanity should allow. Also, see 13 seconds in on this video if you don't trust my word. You'll hear the click of the gear handle be moved and the hydraulic pump (as we have modeled) sound:

I assume you have the 1GB video card then? These tests were with the 2GB selection in the installer, so as long as you selected the 1GB version in your installer you should expect similar increases.

Okay, back with some more. This time I'm going to show results on a 2011 iMac 27-inch. Given these have mobile GPUs they don't perform as well with HDR almost ever, but they are MORE than suitable to run the Saab under 1.1 as is shown below. Alternatively, if you run at a lower monitor resolution than what Apple gives you on this big display, you will also receive gains. That said, I wanted to show you full res results. Yet again, in every aspect there is a FPS increase using 1.1! If you have one of the newer iMac models you can expect even better performance, especially with the latest gen 4GB models. These tests below are just me making quick adjustments. Given you can see the iMac is capable of getting 40fps in my quick test, I'd say there's plenty of room to find your "happy" place here. Keep in mind also that I elected to do the Seattle area in this test, which has some rather heavy hitting objects around it, but still quite good results! Just a one time thing. We switched how license files are read in preparation for the Saab so that people didn't have to activate all three variants separately and be annoyed. The code is supposed to just work without issue on the CRJ, but some have reported the same as you and this simply updates the CRJ to the new licensing scheme. One-time deal and you're good.

Hi, Go into the CRJ-200 aircraft folder, delete the xa_license.txt file and simply re-load the aircraft.
