  1. SkyMaxx Pro is not a weather injector. It only reads what X-Plane fetches, so something like this will either come from Laminar or a different product!
  2. You don't need to see updates to know anything, guys. This is an unreleased product that owes nothing to anyone but ourselves. We are indebted to no one so long as we are not taking anyone's money There have been a ton of things happening with this product behind the scenes. Things that will add a lot of value to you, and the result worth waiting for. We do appreciate the enthusiasm and even frustration though. It's a signal that people want it, so it's exciting on our side to know what's coming and what we're changing to make it even better.
  3. What are you asking for? The equivalent of NOAA? Proper weather injectors are no easy task and if one were to ever come about I would anticipate it to be a product of its own.
  4. This may be the cause. We have some updated OGL code in the upcoming 1.2 update, so this may already be fixed for the next update.
  5. Can you please uninstall SkyMaxx and see if the problem persists? Also, are you on Mac or Win?
  6. Follow the instructions in the first post.
  7. Likely not. Cirrus clouds are generally quite high, and traditionally thin overall. We're focused on performance, and the current cirrus solution works just fine for that. We'll keep it in mind if we ever find ways to get more optimizations in, but again, I wouldn't bank on this one.
  8. Yes, you can do this.
  9. Hi, Tim, We won't be changing anything based on the first two requests. We're simply working within limitation of software of choice for that. Sorry. We'll consider your third request.
  10. This makes zero sense at all. It's always been there, 1.0 included.
  11. Ya, looks like 1.0 to me too!
  12. Stu, I think step 1 here is going to require you to fly a flight without a SASL enabled plugin aircraft just to see if that's where we need to be looking. Please fly your same routing with a default aircraft. Thus far none of us have been able to duplicate this, and no other customers are writing in such complaints, so this seems pretty isolated at the moment and we're going to need all the help we can get from you.
  13. Hey, AJ, Yes, just run the installer once more!
  14. Hey, AJ, Happy to see you took the plunge and that you're satisfied with the results!
  15. Just tested again. Works fine. If you're just trying to go to exterior view and zoom out as far as you can, it won't always work. It's based on relative location of the aircraft, which is really all that matters here.
  16. Can you please post your log.txt file in your X-Plane folder?
  17. 1. Go to your X-Plane/X-Aviation folder and run the uninstaller 2. Run the X-Plane update utility that Laminar ships to restore default clouds
  18. Please take the time to read the existing threads about 1.3.
  19. Well, for one, you didn't list your computer specs. UrbanMaxx uses normal mapping which can cost a bit if you don't have a faster setup. Nothing crazy, though.
  20. It should definitely not be in your resources/plugins folder! SASL is not programmed to be a global plugin.

    Thanks, John!

That's exactly why the manual exists as a free download on the product page, as well as in your install.
  23. We will of course look into it more, though I make no promises. As it stands, for me and many others, SkyMaxx Pro is already such a huge enhancement over default. Improving things is natural. I'd say the jump from 1.0 to 1.1 was quite significant, and we're already cooking up some amazing features for 1.2. Thanks, we think so too. True, but not entirely true. There's more to it than this, and we're pretty intimate with how it works in default in order to create this add-on. As it stands, we need not continue to keep the repetition going in this thread, guys. As John has indicated already, it's been noted for review, so unless you have something NEW to add to this thread aside from a listed suggestion, please refrain from saying the same thing that was already posted before you. This isn't a bug, it's a feature request.
  24. These things are only for you to determine. I can't judge you here, and won't. You as well! Blue (or cloudy) skies, sir!
