This is likely to be left as is. The product was released many years ago and only now is this really becoming a bigger concern since you started a thread (which is okay). We get many compliments on the Duchess pretty regularly and for that reason will happily sell it as it stands. You can purchase it if you like, or simply don't purchase it if this now is a major issue for you. This really just becomes a matter of economics. The complaint for this didn't come soon enough in the products prime of sales to make these types of changes viable at this point and time. I'm sorry if this comes as a disappointment!

So are you purposefully being ignorant, or what?
-
That wasn't the Duchess he measured against. It was an example aircraft to show his case.

Where I find SkyMaXX 1.3.3 version again?
Cameron replied to dastyflysim@gmail.com's topic in SkyMaxx Pro v4
Thanks for your input. Most customers don't tend to read the manual. Majority do read the pre-sales page. -
Hi Justin, Please see and try the download/install as shown here in post #11: http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/7049-missing-clouds/?p=77029

Hi Justin, Wrong file. I need the log.txt file located in your X-Plane folder. Please post it as an attachment and not pasted text. Thanks!

Please post your log.txt

You are responding to a topic that was made in 2012. This was for SkyMaxx Extreme, a light product that replaced textures for clouds which is no longer available. SkyMaxx Pro is a $39.95 add-on available as you have already seen, and does much, much more than SkyMaxx Extreme ever did.
-
SkyMaxx Extreme is not the same as SkyMaxx Pro.
-
Not the same product...

Great aircraft, just one or two questions.
Cameron replied to G-ERTI's topic in Douglas DC-3 (no longer in use)
The sarcasm is unneeded, and the simulation of the product for which its intended use is in a flight simulator is unhindered. If it truly is an issue it'll be fixed, updated, and released when the time comes. Until then, you're the only customer of very many to complain about it, making it very obvious it's not the number one priority in the line right now. Hate to be blunt, but I think you wanted that in the end. Thanks. -
No. We're quite happy with how they've turned out now. Sorry if this is disappointing to you, but we have already received MANY comments on how much people like the new way of clouds transition during evening and the colors they are.

Yet you are full of it yourself.

Gerhard, Quit making a bunch of something out of nothing. Why don't you create a support ticket at X-Aviation and just request 1.3.3 if you want it so bad? I really don't understand your behavior here. 2.0 only adds new features, not takes any away. Therefore, if you wanted to, you could essentially set the defaults that were present from 1.3.3 and be done with it. We have had a number of customers do this with success. Perhaps listening to what is being told to you by people like John about using the UI to adjust items to your liking would be the smart thing to do. No Jedi Knight included.

Change your username.

So long as you de-select the beta checkbox in the installer you could have simply gone back to a fresh 10.25 install with minimal hassle.
-
Tom, I know you tend to almost *always* be "constructively" negative in most things you post about anything, but did you really just create a topic filled with rant about a UI for a weather plugin? More to the point...about the UI giving freedom of choice to users to choose what they do or do not want to see, or do/do not want to impact their perhaps lower end system? Anyways, I think the rest of the posts throughout this forum and others shed the more realistic light and expectations on this product...exceedingly good. While your opinion counts, I'm really not sure what to say to you.
-
I would love to know what this means. We're very responsive and just gave away a massive upgrade free of charge to existing customers after a lengthy and thorough beta testing run. Please do elaborate.
-
It will already be updated.

This topic is now closed since the product has been released. You may continue the discussion here. See ya there!
