  1. Please provide me with your order number so I can better assist you.
  2. Yes. This section is only for customers who purchase from X-Aviation. Your log data there would indicate that's not the case.
  3. Where did you purchase from?
  4. Primarily because it's Windows users that experience it rather than Mac. Are you not willing to accept the true technical answer or something? We're not making this stuff up. Philipp works for Laminar and with X-Plane source code directly.
  5. Qt is an application framework which allows cross-platform interfaces. AKA a toolkit, and one that was utilized in building the CRJ back in the day. Quoting Philipp from here:
  6. No, there are no plans to update this I believe. It's not detrimental to flight itself, and has to do with the Qt programming from what I remember. I don't believe there was a solution available to fix this due to some X-Plane limitations when Qt is involved. Sorry. Not necessarily my decision either.
  7. That's extremely vague. Can you be more specific?
  8. In addition to the above, be sure that wind is not causing this movement.
  9. Make sure you have HDR turned on!
  10. You need to re-run the original installer.
  11. Indeed, The installer doesn't even touch near things you're talking about. This same base software is used on all our products. That's many, many thousands of installs, and I've never heard of something like this. Ever. I'm assuming switch configs are something to do with hardware? Also, which version of X-Plane is this?
  12. To further this, there is a time limit after turning the avionics off that they will not have to warm up again. I forget the time, but this IS simulated in our product.
  13. Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.3 update for the Take Command! Saab 340A. All customers who have purchased the Saab 340A up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete instructions on how to obtain your update. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the Saab 340A from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.3 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains the Saab 340A purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "Take Command!: Saab 340A". NOTE: IF YOU HAVE THE SAAB CURRENTLY INSTALLED DO NOT UNINSTALL IT! THE NEW INSTALLER WILL SCAN AND UPDATE YOUR FILES! There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: What's New / Changed: Adjusted logic on ASI speed bug and EADI fast/slow indicatorFixed altimetersAdded new feature to handle XP AP disco commandsChanged file write logic for PLII widgetFixed bug where NAV1 data would not display on EHSI when selecting NAV2Added protection logic to CL joystick selector to prevent assignment of same index to both leversFixes an installer issue where some code may not fully update correctlyAs always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.
  14. I'm not aware of one. I suppose one could exist, but can't say for certain.
  15. 1. The window you are looking for doesn't exist. 2. Use circle view instead.
  16. I don't think we can predict the future any better than others here, but I'm sure other customers can attest to our commitment in doing what's right. We provided SkyMaxx v2 free of charge to all v1 owners. That's now almost two years in of free updates. Time will tell, but we would definitely never "short" our paying customers.
  17. Holy cow, Bill. Every one of your products is not even installed on your machine correctly. You just have stuff installed to random locations that aren't even doing anything inside of X-Plane for you. Go ahead and run all of those uninstallers before you do anything. Apparently you selected your Desktop folder as your X-Plane folder. Big no-no. You need to select your X-Plane folder when you choose the install location in the installer!
  18. It's been answered here before, but yes, it's by design. There are some scenarios where the sounds will play at a low volume when interior, however. Outdoor sound effects are also enabled if you're in an interior view, the cabin door or cockpit is open, and the engines are off. Carenado may be using some custom datarefs or even active sounds that are canceling this out in this scenario. We're only at version 1.0, so we'll definitely look into it.
  19. This has been updated. Forgot to post that here!
  20. Personal license information specific to your purchase. Not really anything for you to do there. It's just an information window.
  21. We don't give any kind of release dates. Sorry!
  22. Very weird! Haven't heard of this before, but I would suggest re-running the installer as just a simple upgrade and see what happens. Shouldn't take much of your time to accomplish a small download!
  23. Bill, Not sure what's going on there, but here's what I suggest you do (in this order): 1. Delete the following folder: X-Plane/Aircraft/X-Aviation/Saab 340A 2. Delete the following file (if it exists) X-Plane/X-Aviation/Uninstall Saab 340A <==== Note the folder path!! It's not the same as in step 1 3. Re-download the Saab 1.2 installer from X-Aviation under your account 4. Re-run the installer as a first time install Hope this gets you up and running!
  24. These images are entirely unreadable. Please attach the GizmoLog.txt and the log.txt files in your X-Plane folder.
  25. Not until X-Plane uses it first (which will probably be unlikely on a large scale).
