  1. 1. The window you are looking for doesn't exist. 2. Use circle view instead.
  2. I don't think we can predict the future any better than others here, but I'm sure other customers can attest to our commitment in doing what's right. We provided SkyMaxx v2 free of charge to all v1 owners. That's now almost two years in of free updates. Time will tell, but we would definitely never "short" our paying customers.
  3. Holy cow, Bill. Every one of your products is not even installed on your machine correctly. You just have stuff installed to random locations that aren't even doing anything inside of X-Plane for you. Go ahead and run all of those uninstallers before you do anything. Apparently you selected your Desktop folder as your X-Plane folder. Big no-no. You need to select your X-Plane folder when you choose the install location in the installer!
  4. It's been answered here before, but yes, it's by design. There are some scenarios where the sounds will play at a low volume when interior, however. Outdoor sound effects are also enabled if you're in an interior view, the cabin door or cockpit is open, and the engines are off. Carenado may be using some custom datarefs or even active sounds that are canceling this out in this scenario. We're only at version 1.0, so we'll definitely look into it.
  5. This has been updated. Forgot to post that here!
  6. Personal license information specific to your purchase. Not really anything for you to do there. It's just an information window.
  7. We don't give any kind of release dates. Sorry!
  8. Very weird! Haven't heard of this before, but I would suggest re-running the installer as just a simple upgrade and see what happens. Shouldn't take much of your time to accomplish a small download!
  9. Bill, Not sure what's going on there, but here's what I suggest you do (in this order): 1. Delete the following folder: X-Plane/Aircraft/X-Aviation/Saab 340A 2. Delete the following file (if it exists) X-Plane/X-Aviation/Uninstall Saab 340A <==== Note the folder path!! It's not the same as in step 1 3. Re-download the Saab 1.2 installer from X-Aviation under your account 4. Re-run the installer as a first time install Hope this gets you up and running!
  10. These images are entirely unreadable. Please attach the GizmoLog.txt and the log.txt files in your X-Plane folder.
  11. Not until X-Plane uses it first (which will probably be unlikely on a large scale).
  12. You have an old installer. Re-download.
  13. One in the works, otherwise just the stuff John has already posted in the forums. Might be, but not happening.
  14. Hello Folks!, Today we are happy to announce SoundMaxx has been released! Enjoy this new add-on!
  15. That's different than asking how to remove the chocks...
  16. I have people writing me everyday asking silly things that are covered in manuals on the first few pages. People just do not like to read documentation, which beats me, because they could get their answers a lot quicker that way!
  17. No update on the manuals at this time. The forums are a great resource and regardless of manuals most people don't read them. They come here instead. At some point they will be updated, but the focus has been to get this into eager hands.
  18. To upload pictures you need to click the "More Reply Options" box below the regular reply box you are using. Please go run a test at an airport without scenery installed...no photoscenery, no HD Mesh if you have it, and no object scenery.
  19. I don't know what to tell you, Kerry. The manual does talk about the A/P disconnect on pages 194/195, including the audible calvary charge and associated warnings that come with the sound. So, given this, you could have either read the manual or contacted us to say "I read the manual but am not sure where the A/P disconnect button is." I'll say that it doesn't mention the sound clearing with it, but considering the sound is part of the annunciator warnings, this is what is to be interpreted. Instead you came on here asking (and even insinuating) if the sound was a bug, when the manual clearly discusses disabling the warnings (indicating it is possible). To quote the manual: Overall it's not a big deal, and I suppose some take it for granted, but pretty much every aircraft (as Philipp has stated) works this way or similar, so I think it's easy sometimes for us to assume anyone purchasing an add-on this serious would know it. We'll try to remember to be easy, but you also need to remember that in a digital age where words are stored in online search engine databases, labeling things as "problems" which are really not can be damaging.
  20. I'm not sure I understand your point. Graphic card manufacturers, as well as Apple, mass produce products. I would not expect you to be the only one with an issue! You're failing to see the point. Your machine is not Godzilla. It can't handle everything. For whatever reason you appear reluctant to provide what's being asked of you consistently. We can't help to offer solutions until you follow through. It's evident you don't like the technical explanation. Trying to compare other add-ons to something that's pushing 3D to it's limits is like comparing apples to oranges. They are not the same, nor do they utilize or access the same items on a graphics card.
  21. Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if you're exhausting it. The bus on iMac graphics card is NOT big/fast. While X-Plane can and will run great in many scenarios on this machine, it is not a gaming machine with a gaming video card. Please show a screenshot of your SkyMaxx Pro settings screen.
  22. You can just drag and move it.
  23. What resolution are you running at, and what SkyMaxx Pro settings do you have? I would not be surprised in the least if you are exhausting VRAM on this machine.
  24. I strongly suggest you remove X-Plane from this folder. It is known to cause some major issues for X-Plane. Glad you like it!
