  1. VNAV is pretty basic, I would not fully rely on it on decent. Kinda what most RL pilots do. FL change (flight level change) is really helpful for these situations. You had to descent to 12000ft in 10nm, what was your altitude at the previous waypoint? So from what altitude were you going from to get to 12000ft
  2. You can always modify each gwps file and increase the gain on them by using a program like audacity. Not sure of it'll work, I havnt tried yet.
  3. Open the ixeg in plane maker. To go standard - systems - then electrical tab - and you will see a box that you can check which says "auxiliary power unit" . Check that on, save and exit.
  4. Okay. Yea, whenever you have a chance, record a video of what you're doing.
  5. For vor loc on the ils, you have to give it a few seconds to lock. As to your random turns, it sounded like a course issue but you said you have the correct inbound course. What plugins are you running? I'm just curious. Doubt Thats an issue thoguh.
  6. With the latest Gizmo version, it'll fix Any issues people had with Sierra and Gizmo supported products.
  7. Sorry about your experience man. And yea, I do agree there should be system requirements on the XA Page for the plane.
  8. Most likely not a release before xp11. I'd say probably around Christmas.
  9. Hope it works out! Have a good one too.
  10. Based on what I see and not being able to look at the log files right now (on mobile), it may be an installation error. Try maybe reinstalling the plane. Also make sure you follow the instructions carefully when using the beta Gizmo.
  11. Without the stop code or the error code, it's hard to determine the exact problem of the BSOD. Next time it happens, can you post the stop code?
  12. A BSOD is most likely from something wrong with your PC and not the plane. Do you remember what the BSOD message was? Ex: APC_MISMATCH , or it includes a stop code like 0x0000p089 Also, what are your specs of your PC?
  13. Are you able to reproduce this behavior?
  14. Does this happen every time the plane over speeds.
  15. Well don't retire your plane if it works now. You found the problem and the plane is working as it was.
  16. I'll give it a try again, but when I did it a month ago, it never wanted to stay off.
  17. Yea I've found that doing that didn't permanently turn it off unlike windows 7. I have just instead excluded the x plane exe and folder so I don't have to worry about it.
  18. Haha yea, pretty old CPUs in those machines. If this only happened from the xp update, you might want to try to reinstall the plane or reset your preferences. Is the ixeg the only plane with issues? Try taking a look at this forum to see if anything can fix your issue. Just out of curiosity, what cpu do you have?
  19. If you are using windows defender , make sure to exclude x plane from it. It can help with the fmc performance issues. Also, I'm not sure this is true or not but I did see it somewhere in this forum, but the fmc in real life has lag since it's a very old computer. Maybe ixeg have tried to implement that.
  20. mmerelles is right. Your joystick seems to be sending noise to the plane. The autopilot will not work if there are any inputs on the stick.
  21. One possibility I have is that your null zone setting is too low. If the plane senses any movement in the yoke, the autopilot disengages. Check your null zone and possibly increase it a little it.
  22. It'll be the latest stable Gizmo. But download the beta Gizmo above. That's the one that fixes the Sierra issues.
  23. Ben Russel has put out a beta for the new version of Gizmo. It fixes the issues with the new version of Mac os. Give it a try and it should fix your problems.
  24. With winglets, there is no logo light. That is as intended. IXEG have stated that in the future (hopefully v1.1), they will put an "inop" switch next to the logo light switch.
  25. Have you checked your spam folder
