Did a little of both.....

The A380 is more of a pain in the butt than anything. The plane is too big and is very limited as to which airports it can go to. Airbus had to "cheat" and classify it as two airplanes. What good is that going to do when one crashes and the ARFF teams can't handle it? Also, almost all of it is controlled electronically. How are pilots going to control it when the system crashes? I'm more comfortable letting the pilots control the plane instead of than letting the plane control itself.

Haha, I remember that conversation a few months back. I'm really glad I chose to try out that tutorial last night. It caught my interest and I realized the potential that commercial aviation has. I've been doing all kinds of FMS today. I'm a kindergartner at this stuff right now, but I have learned so much in the last 24 hours and I can't imagine where I'll be in a month or so. I have never had so much fun in X-Plane. Thanks for telling me to try this stuff out, Rush

With no IFR experience, I decided to try one of Peter's tutorial flights. It was the best experience I have ever had in X-Plane by far!!!

I have a Macbook Pro similar to yours and it flies pretty well in 20 mile visibility.

It's always been by email for me. XAVIATION makes it as convenient as possible.

How's the FPS Rush? It's much better than expected. I have a powerful computer though. What are your specs? I'd give mine but I'm away from home at the moment. Sorry I didn't see your question earlier. Yep I'm in the car on the way home from a week long trip to France, I'm downloading the ssj first thing! Out of my 8.5th flight from Paris to Atlanta I spent about 7 hours in the jumpseat, the other 1.5 hours were dedicated to learning the SSJ systems! Thank god for iPads and ebook having the ability to read PDFs but Rush, I've got quad 2.67, 8th ddr3 Ram, and 1Gb VRAM. Are the systems hard to learn and understand? I haven't made a huge effort to learn IFR and FMS yet, but I really need to.

Started to begin learning IFR......

I just bought it. I only got about five minutes but was able to do a manual landing. It's definitely worth getting.

I've been wondering the same thing. If I were you, I'd make sure I had money for the Saab 340 that is coming out this month before I bought that.

It finally came out for Mac!!! This thing is a pain to fly and presents a challenge that no other helicopter does in X-Plane. It's a must for the helicopter enthusiast.

I lost it when I saw that panel shot!!!!! It's so detailed and lit so well. I can't wait until I take off for the first time in her. Well, good luck on sealing the deal. I hope everything will move very smooth for here on out.

Yeah, I discover X-Plane's capabilities each day. That's one of the reasons I love this sim. I'll probably make some kind of helicopter practice place with all kinds of objects later. Thanks for your YouTube tutorial by the way.
