  2. **edit** Sorry, wrong thread. Toronto is looking amazing BTW
  3. Looking great! Will these textures switch season automatically? Or will we have to swap them out manually?
  4. The Glacier package you have looks amazing! I love the real blue hue you've come up with. Can't wait to fly with it tonight. Thanks
  5. I'll check it out, but a GeoTIFF is a rectified image with projection information tagged. Maybe you can use a GeoTIFF as an overlay like in WED. Thanks for the link. I'll report back if it is useful for importing bodies of water.
  6. How often is XP updated with new OSM data? I just added several hundred lakes in Montana, I'm just wondering if I'm doing it for nothing. I REALLY miss the KLM to BGL tool for FSX. Too bad there is no such amazing scenery tool for XP.
  7. Looks amazing!
  8. Caribou!
  9. Well after asking the same question at the other place I was told to check the location of my geotiff. I was unaware that the image, even if used only for reference, needs to be in the same folder as the scenery you are working on. After moving the geotiff all is right and the image is visible. So if anyone else runs into this, now they'll know.
  10. Thanks
  11. Bump. Has anyone else had this issue with Geotiffs?
  12. Hi, I am trying to bring a GEOTIFF into WED but I'm having an issue. When the image is placed it just shows as a blank image. I created the GEOTIFF using Global Mapper. I set control points in Google Earth, saved the image, brought it into Global Mapper, Rectified the image, and exported it as a GEOTIFF. But when I tell WED to open it, WED only displays a blank image. I tried exporting it as a kmz to make sure my control points were accurate and everything lined up as it should, so I know my control is accurate. I have tried using other formats with the same result. I'm using wed_win_110r1 on Windows 7 64-bit if that helps. I'll attach my tiff if anyone else wants to see if it loads right for them scrf-2.tiff
  13. Loving this update along with the newest RC for XP10 getting 35+fps with scenery and clouds on high settings where as before when flying the CRJ I had to shut detail and clouds off. Great job!
  14. Still an area the FSX is way ahead of even XPX. I find it very annoying to have to enter waypoints only via direct to option. How is this still too complex for X-Plane to figure out?
  15. Would be nice if they would support some of the more popular Garmin such as the 696
  16. Stunning work as always!! Can't wait to see this one in my X-Aviation airplane folder
  17. Just curious, but where did you find that info? Says on all order forms and in-store pick ups that it is available Jan.31st, and I can't find where it states that it is US scenery only. *edit---- After calling over to Best Buy I can verify that it is only 2 discs, she couldn't tell me if it was US only, so it appears that it would only be US scenery. But the price and release date showing on the website are correct, according to Best Buy.
  18. ...because with the install discs support is key
  19. I'd love to see a Caribou of this quality. This one is looking better than the Aerosoft model IMO.
  20. http://www.bestbuy.c...9&skuId=3558481 Free shipping too. Windows version
  21. So where do I get this data? Referenced topic doesn't give this info.
  22. I'd use this as long as it didn't mess with FSEconomy . Sounds cool, I liked FSPax when i flew FSX
