  1. That's nice to hear - I'll keep my fingers crossed then
  2. I hope Laminar will "fix" this... Thats too bad. I've been using it quite a lot lately, especially with the "flightplan only" feature. This is really a great add-on. Now I don't mean to be hijacking this thread, but is there any other, standalone app, that can do the same at all? With SID/STAR support? And Vroute integration? ;-)
  3. I think this crash may have happened because I did not put in a destination airport before entering SID and/or route. Sorry for the inconvenience
  4. Hi Philip, see below Yes, I hit EXEC after selecting 22R and MIKSI 1C I type in SORGA in scratchpad and then hit the key next to the field where the waypoint goes (on the upper, right side of the display) Attached here Thanks for the help :-) X-Plane_2012-03-17-000932_Anderss-iMac.crash.zip
  5. Order of events: Open the FMC. 1) set location to EKCH 2) select Arr/dept and click 22R and then MIKSI 1C SID 3) goto flightplan and type either SORGA, MIKSI or TUKTU. Alle wpts cause a CTD. I am using the version 1.4.3 with the newest airac on an Imac 27. Any help appreciated :-) Thanks, Anders Log.txt
  6. any news on this issue ? I had a CTD today when selecting a transition. I am using the version 1.4.3. Like Skipper63 mentions above, this happens when selecting star/rwy/trans in the wrong order (this order caused crash: 1. rwy, 2. star, 3. transition)...so I guess I'll just use the correct order, which is selecting star before rwy :-) Log.txt
  7. Truly amazing stuff - can't wait to try it out :-)
  8. That did the trick - thanks alot philipp
  9. I get an immediate CTD when opening the CRJ-200. I did a clean install on X-plane 10. Please help, I can't wait to try this awesome update ;-) forgot to mention that the download/installation were both done 1-2 hours ago, so I assume that this has nothing to do with the "initial" crash issues. 10. Never even heard of "cinema verite" but have been using PilotView plugin for ages which also has head movement. Since v 10 came out though, PilotView has been broken, so I am quite happy to find there is a built in function. So thanks for asking the question ;-) Btw I did some searching on the function and see that quite a few wonder why cinema verite isn't default "on" or perhaps suggested more often for increased realism.
  11. Any news on this exciting project? :-)
  12. That worked I guess I will need to re-enable the plug-in if I want to use VasFMC (the standalone version) ? Thanks.
  13. Is this it? X-Plane_2011-11-30-131406_Anders-Lauridsens-iMac.crash.zip
  14. Thanks for the update, but I am having some problems here... Updated to v. 1.3 First of, my OS (OS X) never asked if I wanted to accept connections. Then, when I try to load the CDU IP from another device anyway, x-plane crashes immediately. Tried accessing from the host itself and from an ipad. THanks for your help :-)
  15. You can use VasFMC for the flightplan. It doesn't handle performance since it's "flightplan" only, so you have to do that stuff by hand. It is very handy for SID/STARS and loading flightplans directly from vroute.
  16. Otherwise try out the VasFMC 2.1. It has a "flightplan only" mode which I would think works with this. I'll give it a try and report back.
  17. This tragedy is truly beyond comprehension. Sincere condolences from your supportive southern neighbor, Denmark.
  18. One thing to remember is that the VasFMC 2.1 has a "flightplan only" mode that limits itself to the flightplan itself and doesn't interfere otherwise with the autopilot. It is meant to be used with planes that have custom autopilot (like the saab) and works well with other planes that have custom autopilot and default FMS, like the Q400 and Peters A380. It even works with planes that don't have an FMS like the MU-2 or the freeware F-27, so perhaps it will work in the Saab :-)
  19. can't wait for this
  20. yes indeed. I am surprised this is an ipad issue, but will try GoodReader, thanks for the heads up.
  21. Awesome ;D Which liveries will come with this?
  22. I know, it's fantastic. But how about a "clean" cimber livery? The one used on planes not operated for SAS ;D
  23. Have you tried the "flightplan" only mode on the new vasFMC 2.10? It will probably work just fine. You don't get all the speed, altitude and fuel calculations, but some times all you need is an easy way to enter a flightplan and be able to change SID/STARS with a click of a button :-)
