  1. I've been working on a plugin for the CRJ-200 which simulates the co-pilot, flight attendant, ground crew and passengers in a realistic way. For now it's only for the CRJ-200 (my favorite plane) but other popular planes should follow. A few features : - Fully voiced co-pilot, flight attendant, public announcements and even ground crew. All done by professional voice actors. - Fully voiced, realistic and dynamic checklists for the CRJ-200. And the co-pilot will perform its duties during landing/take-off. It's like a light (but still very realistic) version of FS2Crew. - Generate a dispatch sheet with a realistic schedule, Fuel/CG/VSpeeds calculations, METAR data etc. - Flight scoring and passengers reactions (like in the excellent FSX plugin FSPassengers). Your passengers will react if you perform dangerous maneuvers, applaud your nice landing but won't be happy if you don't follow the announced schedule. - Fully customizable flights (origin/destination, passengers, cargo etc). Each flight can be logged in HTML format. - You can even order a coffee from the flight attendant while cruising. Yup, it took me two days to code this, i regret nothing. If you enjoy the CRJ-200 and flying in a realistic way, I think you will love this plugin.

  2. Gentlemen, Some of you remember my not so nice "career" start in X-Pilot forums. I was posting a lot, complaining about not being able to fly Saab 340A, about frame rate dropping to a single digit... I even got banned by Cameron ( I do not agree I should have but that is a different story) After some time I decided to take Ben's advice and made a fresh installation of XP from scratch and copied my scenery to it. I posted an apology for LES Team because finally SAAB started working. I was still not happy because after a longer flight , I was unable to shoot any videos using outside views. Before I get any further, I am still patiently waiting for SAAB upgrade as many other users so few bugs are fixed and few FPS are squeezed out, that is for sure. What I do want to say after that is that I did something I should do right after scratch installing XP, remove my custom scenery ( I had 1800+ files there) I removed the majority of the custom scenery except maybe a hundred or so for the places I fly the most and ..... I am able to shoot videos using outside views after 3 HRS of flight. Actually , by the time I am writing this, XP has been on for over 4 hrs and I am still able to use ANY view I want without simulation coming to a slide show. Having said all above..... I apologize again to the whole Lead Edge Simulations Team for taking a lot of time and creating negative responses that were simply caused by me not trying to do what I was advised to do. I am this type of person who can come up and say in public that I made a mistake and I am sorry. I am totally in love with SAAB, I am still learning and discovering new things, I appreciate all the efforts that went to creating this great aircraft. I do not want to make this post too long but I felt that after my recent "discovery" I need to write what you just read. Clapping hands for Lead Edge Simulations Team! Superb job, guys. AJ is finally happy ( but still waiting for the update ) The video below was taken after 3+ hrs of continuous flight ( including landings and take offs with engine running) Cheers, AJ , a very happy LES customer. P.S. Cameron, I have sent you a PM with apology more than a month ago but I see you never opened my PM it so maybe this thread will do instead. I know my landings are bad but I had to share the joy of being able to shoot the outside views videos. For those who would also like to see the view from the cockpit, Madeira Visual Approach RWY05

  3. Thanks for the feedback. Now ,a few days later, I found out whats all about. The screen showed on the McPhat-Facbook shows us a version wich has never been published. In fact it was the very first livery made for the ATR (before McPhat started their activities with the bird) This first livery had various details we do not find on the McPhat-liveries. ( e.g. the emergency-exit on the cockpit and detailed propellors) On the other hand McPhat improved the textures and added many other significent details in high definition. Why I am making such a fuzz about this? Last months I have been working on a livery for the ATR. ( Royal Thay Air Force 6th Wing 60314 , with the "Valour without Arms" logo on it) ) Its my intention not to make "just another livery" , I am recreating the looks of the bird. This one will not be "dirty" and "worn-out" , it will look, lets say, a bit fresher. AND it will have the details ( I re-created myself) we see on the first initial livery in combination with the McPhat-looks (except for the dirt as said) In other words , it try to make it a "McPhat-Extra" ("Plus" if you prefer) This work is based on my own ATR72 paintkit ( based on McPhat "blanks") and re-woked normals.

  4. Wow that EGPB landing looks fun, I will try to get it set up for the SAAB Nice turn at Madeira.. I was having trouble getting the plane to make a wide arc.. I ended up using full right rudder to turn.

  5. Carenado doesn't seem to care that Jason Chandler made the same models of Pipers and Cessnas that they are selling and they continue to forge ahead with their development. Pete at SMS is building a Beaver even though STMA sells one. 4Forces is still upgrading their C152 even though Carenado sells one. I'm sure there are many other similar comparisons. You have no reason to stop development other than somebody stepped on your toes and hurt your feelings by releasing one first. You have no reason to feel "betrayed" in that you don't have a non-compete contract saying nobody else can build the plane you're working on. If yours is going to be so much better, you will still have a market when it is released. So get over it….pull up your boots and get back to work!

  6. Hi Andy. Welcome to the LES Saab340A lover's thread. Wow, what a great videos, thank you for sharing. Yes, definitely, Canox and myself will fly RWY 33 EGPB Sumburgh approach for sure ( I dared to answer for Canox here but he is a SAAB addict, like me , hope I will be forgiven, Canox ) It looks great, it will be a challenge, I will try this weekend, need to prepare for it, no crashes, that is my LES Saa340A commitment, if things do not look right, missed approach, go around or alternate, just like in real life. What a fabulous plane it is, isn't it? Keep an eye on this thread, there are many cool things coming up and thank you for joining. Cheers, AJ

  7. AJ, I'd love to see a video of an attempt of the RWY 33 EGPB Sumburgh landing if you want another challange? I've travelled on a FlyBe Saab 340 on that approach. Very impressive! Cheers! Andy

  9. Yeah, I know. We're still developing, it will also take some time. Don't want to be arrogant or anything but everyone who will want quality will wait for ours. Others are just impatient or really just want to play. That's my statement, not going to ruin their work with my opinion so I'm just going to shut my mouth. Have some cookies now. ....and yes, I have rebuilt it. Mat
