sirlancelot Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 When I apply full throttle I have to overcorrect the nose wheel to the left, since the plane has a strong tendency to steer to the right. Can´t figure out why. Any clues ?
Ben Russell Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 - Don't smash the throttle to the firewall, take off gently.- Fly the plane.- This is x-plane, p-factor and torque are "educationally" enhanced.
AADX Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 pfactor & torque are *left* turning tendencies.takeoff is with a fully, smartly advanced throttle.as far as the issue. delete all x-plane preferences. set weather to CAVOK, maximum clear and windless (for testing).150's go straight and tend left. X-Plane wind, any amount, will turn just about any plane like a wind vane.
flaviossa Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 That´s one of my initial issues as can be seen in here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=1022.0
Cameron Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Thanks, Flaviossa. We'll continue to look into this!
flaviossa Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Not trying to push things you know .... It´s a beautiful plane as it is now!
